Hey guys u can stop battery draining by turning off these settings
1# go to settings =] n WiFi then =]advanced then =]network notification turn it off.
2# then in settings search scanning n then turn both Bluetooth n WiFi scanning off

I installed the android2.1,the version 2010-4-22,but find a big problem that is the backlight of the keyboard is always on.The battery is also hot...I hope the developpers can solve the problems.Good wishes for you.
There's another problem.I'm using wcdma and I can't get online.
Backligth is known problem.

are the backlight problem , damaged your phone when you dayly use android?
Your battery is getting low yeah.
still not going to kill ur phone right? android doesnt meant for daily use yet. juz have a sip of taste of the android platform on our current phone.. i think thats the main purpose.

honestly, why new threads about topics that already exists and being discussed so many times...
in the 3 main android build threads here, backlight is part of known problems in first post and if search function is used you will get many hits about data/3g/apn settings.

hi i m not using android i have the win mobile 6 on my x 1..
but when i m listening to the music , the backlight wont turn off
,i checked ewery where ,i turned off the dim backlight in ewery part
there is an option ,turn off dim baclight when not in use
? so i a cant balive that a company like Sony E. ore HTC ,ORE whatewer cant find a solution to turn off the ,,phukkin lights'' if u are listening the music for an our
it s that hard? and that s a big problem for smart phones ,week battery ........realllyyy??????
o if anyone can help me please answer ,
it s a smart phone, its a beautyffool phone , i ts awesome
but it can give me a hard time sometimes

Just PM me all your problems, i wil try to help you....dont ask here and populate this thread..if i cant help you, may be then u can ask here..dont piss off the devs unnecessarily...PM me your exact problem....
I have experienced alot of bugs on my HTC Desire C n dunno if i can fix them without installing another ROM ..
my bugs r :
1) sometimes when the phone is connected to the computer .. the screen doesnt wake up when the phone rings ..
2) sometimes application just DISAPPEAR while doing anything on it .. it kills the app ..
3) Viber RINGS n VIBRATES while the phone is still ON MY EAR n i'm on a regular call .. n vice versa ..
4) when i'm on a regular call n turn on the loudspeakers .. sometimes the screen turn off n i CANT turn it on again by anyway ..
5) phone recieves video calls as regular calls with blacked out photos ..
6) sometimes it doesnt vibrate until i restart the phone
7) flip the phone to turn on speakers feature doesnt work ..
i only had the first problem with custom brightness then i switched to autobrightness and i can see the calls while charging <this is a known bug from the software
i dont have the other problems altough one time some apps dissapeared ,but it was because i deleted the data on some sense apps which made the apps dissapear from the menu but still showing in settings>apps

my brightness is always on automode .. n still i'm getting it .. and i meant disappear as in crash n there's no recent of it .... n thnx ..
BUGS
no u cannot remove ur bugs without rooting...but u can solve this phone display blackout on calls by updating ur phone from...settings > about > software updates....if it displays "no update found for ur phone"...then u will hav to wait for updates...but many of d users found d updates....try doing it everyday...it may happen anytime...(as it was d case wid me...)
OR U SHOULD TRY FACTORY RESET BY FIRST BACKING UP ALL UR DATA....

i turn it on in options, but in batery manage, show me it consuming battery and a lot, i cant disable (gemini or in the configs)

thx for the info speedy, already tried, and nothing worked, i reinstaled the rom and turned off ncf and bloqued the app, after that, fix permissions and restart, and its done (but now i cant turn on hehe)
my wifi is continuously 'ON' even though its showing off... because of this the battery is draining fast... is this a bug in .157 or just its happening for any other reason???

If you have recoveries installed you can try factory resetting from there...
Or else if are not bored enough you can repair using PC Companion BUT you will lose root...
In wi-fi settings u have advance options, there should be options for google locations, something like scaning always available, turn off that and wi fi should be off

I am not able to play music. Inbuilt music player and Google play music won't work. Bluetooth And hotspot is not visible to other.
what rom r use now?

which rom are you using i would guess [cm13 by epirex . look in the thread you`ll find audiofix at 7-9 page] .

HI , i don`t know about heating problem my phone works ok , but that battery % dropping 10-15 % or maybe more is an issue with some ROM`s actually it doesn`t eat up battery when it is switched off it sucks the life outta battery when you turn it on and then you gatta wait for a minute or so and just stare at the boot logo , that is what happens when i turn on my phone , to be safe i downloadd bootmanager from xposed directory to stop some apps from starting at boot you can also try it or use similar app.
