Hi everyone. May I be advised on how to obtain SGP771 stock rom to flash my tablet back to default? There is a problem with my Z4 after installing Lucky Patcher and now, as soon as there is an internet connection available, my tablet will keep rebooting after showing me the home screen. It won't do so if I disable WiFi on the device. I will then get an error message that states "Unfortunately YouTube has stopped" I have tried disabling YouTube and uninstall lucky patcher but it doesn't work. It all started after I had chosen to patch unsigned apk. For your kind advice please on where I can get the stock rom.
Thank you
This is forum for Xperia Z4/Z3+, not Z4 Tablet
Do not install Lucky Patcher.

In CM 10.1, after some reflashes with Cyanogen nightlies, google apps stopped working. By that I mean that whenever I try to install or update an APP, the app is stuck at downloading.
I did all the steps that I read on the internet like killing google play, google play services and google framework and clearing the data and cache and rebooting the phone....nothing.
And after I "force stop" theses services, error 495 is displayed.
Apart from me being annoyed with what I can get my hands on apks through the internet and installing them from adb, my phone is pretty isolated now.
Any ideas? Any workarounds. If Google play is so buggy, I might aswell just switch to another app store alltogether.
Also, If I reflash the stock rom 4.0.3(Yes I want to install the stock ICS because I think that it has no screen dimming when the phone is being used, right?), will this problem go away?, This would be helpful if somebody else has already tried this.

Hi, Have tried in last few weeks to update Ace from Gingerbread to Kitkat. Successful but then had overheating and random shutdowns after installing S2E although I have no way of knowing if that was the cause! Then tried to update from within the Ace to RC11. Total failure. Lost menu and back button and keyboard. Tried to go back by reinstalling CM11 but that left me with a setup screen and the message "unfortunately the setup wizard has stopped". Only answer was to use Odin and reinstall official stock kernel. My thanks to brijeshep for that.
So decided to try again but stupidly installed cwm before Upd_1.zip, which would not install from cwm. Used root_cooper.zip (thanks again) and got a success message and phone now rooted. However, "superuser" is not in apps, which it was first time around. How can I check that it is rooted before installing KitKat again?
Any advice on this gratefully received.
Try Root Checker
Tried that! Not enough memory!! Which is why I was trying to root and then install CM11 and S2E. Managed to reinstall stock rom thanks to Odin and then rooted no problem with upd1. Have now installed CM11 running 4.4.4 and will wait a few days before installing any apps apart from gmail and will try S2E if it will work with the 4.4.4. rom.
But thanks anyway for taking the trouble to reply.
ReBoot 1or2

Hi There,
you can download the app called Root Checker.apk to check your root status whether you are rooted or not. And then you can manually installed SuperSu or Super User
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 active and cannot update the binary for supersu. It used to work correctly but simply stopped. I am rooted. I have tried everything and am sooo FRUSTRATED! HEEELLLLPPPP! Whenever I try to load it asks me if I want to do normal or TWRP. Either option forces the app to crash. My model is 4.2.2 thanks.
So, phone got bricked after i tried to downgrade
Loaded up some "custom stock firmware" (pic related)
fixed it, back to 4.4.2 instead of 4.4.4
however
Now i cant torrent APKs / launch external ones, (japanese Pad, any game on the play store, most apps on the play store, torrented apks of course )
if i download and launch them it just crashes
as well as this not counting as a root, so im stuck not being able to use towel root.
Trying to update to 4.4.4 via the phones settings does not work .
Any advice/ help?
I would very much appreciate it,.
Hi all,
I has been 5 months but I was unable to find a decent Rom for my XZ1 Compact that enables the activation of Xposed modules.
I am looking for an sony Rom on which Xposed Framework can be installed and modules can be enabled.
So far, I've used the Rom version 47.1.A.12.75 on which everything mentioned above work correctly whoever after every few minutes some processes randomly closes report "The app closed: do you want to report it?" (or something similar). Most of the time system application crashes and every time that I need to search an app within the play store, the latter always crashed (I always need to clear the data and then search and download the desired app).
Is anybody using a stable original Sony Rom with Xposed modules enabled?
Thank you in advance!
Jassi
PS: My phone is rooted and bootloader is unlocked.
