Hello guys! Ii'm having an issue with the ROM file for the G800H. I''ve already downloaded 5 times and everytime I open it and try to extract it, it always gives me an error of file corrupted. 4 out 5 times I've downloaded through Sammobile and 1 other I've downloaded from another server with the same error. Anyone had the same issue or error?
PS: It happened with wither the Russian or the Indian Version of Lollipop

try downloading it from mobile then extract it on the mobile too then copy it to the pc and flash it
also make sure you dont resume the download sometimes its causing this
Thanks for the input, but I kinda "solved" it another way. At first I was trying to unzip the file with WinRAR and it was throwing the 'Corrupted File' error everytime I did it. After a few attempts, I've tried with 7-Zip and it worked fine with the same file. Funny thing is, that I've never received this error in any other ROM file I had (and I switched ROMs in a few different devices).

dont want to be a pessimist but it happens to me too and i need to send it for repair. i hope you have more luck...
I've downloaded alliance rom and ultimate rom over 20 times md5 doesn't match.
Why is like that? Before i had htc one x and i've never had this kind of problem .
Who's fault is it and what i suppose to do to get the match?
My onternet connection is OK for sure so any suggestion?
Bad download.. Try again.. Or extract the file with something like Winrar.. If Winrar if able to extract the file with no errors then you are safe to flash
Tapatalking on my n7000
i used winrar it says crc error i'm stock i mean since 2 days i can't download a file with rom i have no idea what to do with that shi..
its a 758 MB file .. is that what you see when download starts?
where are you downloading from ? Sourceforge?
try the Alpha build?
I've got the same problem on stock rom and Rocket rom. I've redownloaded it tons of time. while small file like Philz kernel is fine. I've tried using both winrar and 7zip, Both reported back with crc error and file corrupted. I don't think the file on server have problem because I do search in each forum and not found who have the same problem. I've also try many way to download like using Chrome direct download and JDownloader, All of my attempt result in the same broken file problem. I have stable cable internet. I don't know what else can be source of problem. Some said the HDD with bad sector can cause this so I've change the download location to other 2 HDD and there's no different. On another place have been talking about this error and suggest to repair file using winrar but I don't want to flash the broken file in to my phone. anyone know what happened and how to fix this?

Following your arguments and tests I guess that this statement is to optimistic or uses the wrong word. Stable yes, reliable no.
Since few days I've downloaded a lot of ROMs for tests, ThaiDai,Glory, Sweet ... No problem MD5. It's comm link issue.
Is your connection fast enough to download such huge files? I have downloaded so many roms before never had a issue
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
Got stock htc one, that keeps failing to download the update, some message says it was corrupted and do I want to downlad again, when I say yes it just keeps happing instantly!
I guess trying to remove whatever has been downloaded is my first place to start, but does anyone know what the file is called and even more important where would this file have been saved!
Got this sorted now
Hello,
I got my Xperia 10 into a bootloop. I'm still able to enter recovery, but I've never been able to get out of the bootloop, no matter what I tried.
I started trying to flash software onto it with Sony Mobile Flasher. I'm using version 0.9.28.0. Every time I try flashing, the process gets stuck on the same line:
Sending getvar:max-download-size
Does anyone know what exactly this means or how I can fix this?
Any help is greatly appreciated. :good:
Did you find a solution, I am facing the same problem.

The problem stopped occurring.
However, I began having problems with the missing flash script. I fixed that and was able to flash firmware from XperiFirm.
Do you have a missing script file as well or is it just me?
Update
Here's an update.
The problem with getting stuck on getvar:max-download-size only occurs if it's the second time flashing the device after initial connection (and any attempt after that I guess).
This means, connect the phone, try flashing. If for some reason you try another flash without disconnecting the phone, it will get stuck.
This has always helped me, not sure if it's a universal solution.

I tried that too, but it consistently reports the same errors as FlashTool concerning this problem.

Yes, I am. I don't remember whether I deleted all of them or just the ones I didn't want.
Should've I kept some in particular?

Delete all of them! The one in the partition folder too! Then drag the rest of the folder into the Newflasher folder and then follow the instructions on the Newflasher page

I see. Thanks! Just curious, that applies to all Xperia phones and all ROMs or is it different for older ones?
Also, is a flash script needed for NewFlasher. I don't think one is, but I haven't looked into NewFlasher as much as I should have.

I think it's for all Xperias after 2019! No flash script needed. You just have to have fastboot drivers and the drivers for your phone! No need to have your bootloader unlocked either.

You can use newflasher(https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/progress-newflasher-xperia-command-line-t3619426 to flash the firmware
Tried via newflasher, deleted all .ta files, even in boot folder, but i got again and again getvar:max-download-size error. Any solution, please?
Edit: Solved. Forgot to tap on usb debugging option and then allow to computer
Solutions:
1. Tap many times build number to open developer options
2. Turn on usb debugging
3. Connect phone via cable while it is turned on and press Allow when computer asks in it
4. Then try to flash android 10. Write n n n to commands, no need any gordon driver or etc
Maybe need restart phone and pc one time, when you turn on usb debugging and then Allow it
Also i installed android driver, after connect via cable, it was yellow ? <= that sign (in computer > manage > device manager)

Try closing the program and opening it again.
Make sure it's always the first flash after opening the program.
That's what solved it for me. Though honestly, this was more than a year ago , new versions of FlashTool might not have this problem anymore? I honestly don't know, haven't tried in a while.
