This is a great alternative to the official circle case from LG.
I have tested a few of the other ones available and this is the only one that checks all the marks.
It has Qi wireless charging.
It has NFC.
It auto activates whatever circle apps you have installed when you close it.
It auto turns the screen on and if you have swipe to unlock, it even unlocks your phone.
It actually closes all the way (this is huge as it is the first I have tried that does).
It adds almost no bulk to your device.
I can not say enough about this case. It just works as it should with no surprises.
If you compare this to the official LG Qi Circle Case, this one gives you everything that one does, and is much cheaper.
How much cheaper?
The official one is $59.99 + shipping and tax.
This one is $12.99 with free shipping and usually no tax.
Not counting shipping and tax this is a minimum of $47.00 cheaper.
And you get all the same functionality and looks.
The back of the case feels exactly like the smooth plastic LG backs.
The front and side has a almost cloth feel to them.
The side looks like it will hold up for a very long time and not crack like some of the cheaper ones.
The back fits perfectly where your original back would be.
It also has a lip on the side and some protection on the corners to prevent damage from small drops.
Overall I have no issues at all with this case and will probably buy a second one in a different color soon.
Easily a 5/5 product!
I will try and answer any questions you may have about this product.
Here is a video showing how it works and looks.

I just bought it on Amazon at your recommendation. Thanks I guess if I want to use Qi charging I just need to get LG Electronics WCP-300 Wireless Charging Pad for Qi Enabled Devices, is that about right?
Any Qi charging pad will work.
I have ones made by quite a few manufacturers..
The best ones I have used are made by Spigen and Choetech.
This is the Spigen one I have http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Charger-SpigenĀ®-Charging-Premium/dp/B00UGIA0WY
This is a review I did of the Choetech one I have http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63171513&postcount=10
Any Qi charger made by a reputable manufacturer should work fine though.
I hope you enjoy your new case.
I got one of these based on your review, and your review is spot on. This is a fantastic case at double the price! Also 5/5 from me.

I am glad you are enjoying your new case.
I guess I just hate circle cases. It's my first circle case of any kind. I felt it added no protection, especially for the camera. I also didn't like the flap cover, just feels cumbersome and flimsy to me. That said, the wireless charging is great. I stripped out the sticker and installed it onto my original back and love it. The case worked like it was supposed to and if I were to use a circle case I'd probably pick this one based on functionality alone. The cover stays closed, charges great, works like it is supposed to.

About 60% of the speed of a plug in style charger.
I charge my phone on the Spigen Qi charger overnight and just use the other Qi chargers during the day to keep my phone topped off so I never run out of battery.
Saw that ankway is having a flash sale on this case.
It is only active for a few more hours but I figured I would let you all know just in case you can catch it.

Discounts it down to $9.86
Anybody know where to buy this case in Europe?
...any chance I could rip the stupid door off and use it with a real case?
I bought the same case. I've had mine for about a month. The Qi charging pad seems a little too thick, it causes the case to stick up a little bit below the volume down button . Also, the bottom left (from the front) of the case is cracked from a 3-4 foot drop. I still really like the case and would have no problem at all spending the $12-$14 on another one.

Just bought this. Came in the mail (pretty quick shipping to Ontario), and I'm really impressed with it:
http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00GW3FMPW/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Very slim, the cover wakes and sleeps properly when it's opened and closed, stitching is flawless... all in all, a really high quality case. Very happy with it, even after owning for a week or so.
Only one complaint: the case is missing a couple of features compared to the one pictured in the ad. There is no cutout for the charging port (I plan to add this myself -- easy fix), and there is also no hand strap. Not huge losses in my opinion.
Deal breaker....

I think that the missing charging hole would be a deal breaker for me. Especially since they advertised it as a feature. I hate companies that basically lie in their ads. Cutting into what looks like formed leather might not be such a good idea. But, hey, it it works for you, all the best. The Moko case I have has the charging hole, and it is very convenient. :highfive:
got the same on ebay for like 15 US dollars, its not great but its cheap so i didnt think too much of it
I am still looking for a bumper case or skin for this tablet. It seems pretty rare...
Seems like a good case, although no charging hole would probably be a miss for most people.

Aerios makes the best Smartwatch Docks, IMHO. I ordered it and the package arrived today. Just a few days after ordering. I'm in the USA and they are in Australia. It was shipped FedEx Express. Keep in mind, the amount shown on the web site is Australian Dollars, not US Dollars. So do the conversion, and the dock + shipping probably costs far less for most of you. Don't let the displayed price give you sticker shock .
The dock comes in a nice box, with an additional 3 foot charge cable. Either the supplied cable or another can be used. The hole in the dock for a microUSB is big enough for any I have ever seen. But the supplied one fits the most snug and fills the full whole. In the photos, I'm using a Blackberry MicroUSB charger.
Far as types they offer. Although they have Black with Walnut and Silver with Oak, the Silver with Oak is the only one in stock today.
The bottom of the dock, has a pad with a plastic cover. If you remove the plastic, there is sticky stuff on the bottom, in case you want to hold the dock in place on a desk. You have to supply your own round charger dock, to insert in the wooden circular cut out, and you need your own USB power plug to use with the cable.
I've attached many pictures, which I hope tell the story best.
I'll be happy to answer any questions.
I also received mine yesterday, really a quality product! The only issue I have is that my leather (closed) watch strap is a little too stiff and a too heavy: it "pushes" the watch a little away from the pins ... so I guess I have to manually modify the stand (top and bottom chamfered) in order to keep my watch connected. Do you also experience that problem?

See the strap in the photos showing my watch. I replaced the strap.
I've never been a real "fan" of LG's pin charger dock. I've had issues positioning things right, even on a flat surface. It takes a moment to position things "just right" in the Aerios dock, but it looks so sweet once in place. I don't blame Aerios, since I had issues with positioning before getting their dock. My strap does not cause the watch to fall off though. The stock leather strap is a bit heavier. Just make sure you position things well. I would not buy a new strap just to test if it works better if I were you.
I just got Wear Charging Widget and it looks really nice on the dock. Also, here's a related article about the widget. It is the only thing I've found that keeps the watch showing anything the entire time it is charging.

Just got my silver version in. Ordered earlier this week and just got it today. FAST from AUS to TX, USA!! I think the shipping alone cost a good penny lol. For my take....the stand is very very well done. I also picked up the shapeways one last month. And to compare, this one is much more polished but because I use a lot of third party watch bands on my LG G Watch, the current band kind of pushes the lg dock charger out a bit. Whereas the one I have at home has a deeper cavity to house the lg charger and the angle on this is a tad too vertical. I need to grab some double sided tape to hold into place.
I have my Brembo stick that works a bit better for $20 bux lol. But doesn't look as good lol. Do I like it? Yes, would I recommend it? for $60 bux shipped, I want to say...I'm on the border on this. If you like the look of it, then go for it. I am ok with it. It somewhat matches my desk a bit at work. But I would recommend the Shapeways one for sure. I use that every night without issue.
Got the Quick Circle Case for my new LG G4 with wireless receiver integrated inside it. In just $13.99, the combination of both Quick Circle and Wireless Charging Receiver is the best thing I am experiencing right now. I saw the original one on T Mobile that was available at a huge cost, around $50. But still confused, you can observe with my words that why this one is cost effective and other one is so costly? I am satisfied with the quality of this cheaper one as it also have 12 months warranty. So where the difference exist? couldn't able to understand!
What you have to understand is that cases = margin. The reason they are so expensive @ TMO is because it's all profit. If the case only costs TMO $5 to stock, and they sell it for $50, they just made a $45 profit. This profit covers overhead... Store employees, lights, phone, internet, etc etc.
Sellers on Amazon don't have to cover these expenses, thus they can get by with lower margins. Also, the case from Amazon isn't an official LG case, and most likely was sourced through cheap labor (read China, although the LG case is probably Chinese as well). The case probably costs the retailer $2-3 each depending on purchased quantity.
That's kind of a 1000 foot overview of how economics of retail works, but I hope you get the point.
I pre-ordered one last month for $9.99 from Amazon. But returned it. Its don't have the LG G4 logo and its make the phone look cheap. Still preferred the leather back with Qi Charging sticker xdddddd

I bought this Quick Circle case on ebay for about $14 with free shipping. It is Black, which is not a color available on the LG website. The packaging looked genuine LG, but it was all in Korean. It is very well made, lays flat when closed, and all apps work with the Quick Circle app. The qi wireless receiver is not molded into the back, but is an unobtrusive patch on the inside of the back cover. Wireless charging works very well. I charged my phone from 49% to 100% in just over 2 hours, which exceeded my expectations for wireless charging. Very happy with this result. If its not OEM, its dang close. Plus, the price is unbeatable!

is your black a bit floppy per say? The QI charging ones don't come in black. The red and black ones should be made of a soft, grippy, rubbery plastic. If it matches the description what the guy has done is throw in a Qi sticker onto it (or is a good generic.)

No, I know what cases you are talking about. I've seen the ads for the black and red "rubberized" circle covers, but have never seen either in the wild. The case I bought is an exact duplicate of the OEM LG Circle case, just in black (and the Qi receiver is not molded into the plastic, as previously stated). I did not expect this case to be as well made and perform as well as it does for the price. I will also say that the back of the case is slightly less slick than a dark silver one I did see in person. Another plus in my opinion. But again, this is not the grippy, rubber case I think we have both seen in ads.
Also, everyone should note that in order to get the circle case which has the Qi wireless receiver in it, it must be the one that replaces the original back (and not the cover that just snaps over the existing back of the phone).
LG's quickcircle uses a sticker on t he inside of the back.

Thanks! But i think it is better to buy the one with receiver inside. If buy a case and receiver separately, it can make the phone more bulky!

I wasn't saying the company is Chinese, I was saying that is most likely where the cases are made.
I got the original LG case for free with my phone, the catch being that it's pretty effing useless when my phone is the dual sim variant, which doesn't support wireless charging...
How do these work? Does it have a backplate AND a case? Or do you remove the original backplate and this case clips over it? Looking at the pictures it looks like a slim hard shell with a flap. I am just trying to connect the dots.

Non-QI ones slip over, QI one's replace and have the flap as part of the back.
For these cases, can the front cover flip all the way around and be placed against the back of the case? (EDIT: Yes, watched some youtube videos.)
If so, does the wireless charging still work when the front cover is flipped around and resting on the back of the phone?
I have a Qi wireless charging setup in my car mount. The phone+case wouldn't fit if the front cover is flapping around, and I'd like to make sure the charging would still work through the front cover+back plate.
EDIT: Got a response from one of the reviewers on youtube--some chargers did fine with the cover between the back, others had more trouble. Probably has to do with the quality/robustness of the qi charging element.
Just as a follow-up, I purchased the ebay one mentioned earlier in this thread.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/301670499081?var=600518006871
The text on the packaging is all in Korean, so maybe it's real. Or a really good fake.
It's $12.31 only!
One small issue I had when I put it on was that the wireless Qi charging was unreliable. It'd work for a minute, then stop. Or not at all.
I thought it was probably the issue the small contact in the case back not making a good connection to the phone. So I gently lifted up just that section and stuck a small wedge of paper underneath. Looks like it is working reliably now.
Because it's relatively inexpensive, and I usually use a TPU case on my phones put into a holster, I may just buy another one, cut off the front cover, and slip a TPU case over it. This way it's a relatively inexpensive OEM wireless charging back.
EDIT: I take it back, wireless charging worked great for about a day and then it completely stopped working. I tried to elevate the connection a bit more but no change. Not sure where the defect is coming from.
Also, the back is a tad larger than the normal snap-in back, as it fits onto the outside corners, given a bit of corner protection, so I do not know if a TPU case slipped over this would fit completely.
Now I'm not sure if the case is defective, or the phone is defective?!! Annoyed.

Did your case come with the LG logo on it? I saw some pictures without the logo along with pictures where it had a logo, but was in the packaging. Please clarify.
Also, does it provide drop protection on the sides?

Ampere reports it is charging at about 670mA. My keweisi USB detector says it is drawing 4.82volts and 1.31A
The wake/sleep feature works really well and consistently.
It was as simple as removing my old back and snapping this one in.
It fits like stock battery back cover with a flip over flap to protect the face, nice sturdy quality It detects when closed, activating a circle clock, that you can tap to activate other apps to display within the circle and still allowing you to use the phone while closed.
The 3 coil Qi charging stand makes it easy to place, no fiddling for that sweet spot. Can place it up right on laying on its side. Great to use as a dock while watching videos or a a night stand alarm clock.
I should have that quick circle case on the way to review as well. Mind if I just attach my review here when I get mine in and write my review for it?
I would have loved to get that charger! I've been thinking about getting a dock wireless charger. I'm currently using just a flat wireless charging pad from Choetech. It works good, but it's a hassle to make sure my Nexus 7 is aligned currently.

Clockcycle,
Are you still using the "stand" charger? Are you using it with the Artech case you reviewed earlier?
This seems to be something I would be very interested in to simply place my LG G4 on the stand and walk away. If you have tested it with anything other than your Clock case can you elaborate on just how it is doing for you?
Cheers,
Mike
Can you just remove the front circle cover and just use the back cover with the Qi and NFC? Is it easily removable or do you have to cut off the front cover?
Thanks for sharing. Just going to try this one.

You might be able to yank it out or you may need to cut it. It's not a bad idea, either, if you want a slim, snap on case that's wireless charging compatible and you don't want to go the route of manually installing a sticker.
I'll have my review posted for this case either tonight or tomorrow. I've been using it for a week and I finally have some time to sit down with.
Long story short, it's a good case more than worth the price, though the actual functionality of circle view leaves a lot to be desired.

My full review:
Ever since the LG G3 released in 2014 and LG introduced the concept of cases that replaced the standard battery door cover and snapped on in its place, I thought the possibilities would be endless. Sadly, all but the G3 Quick Circle case were limited only to overseas retailers and no third party case maker thought to jump on this idea. With the release of the LG G4, LG reintroduced their Quick Circle case only which was unfortunate since the G3 had other replacement back cases that offered either better grip or more protection while still being a wireless charging option for those who did not want a folio case.
Since the launch of the LG G4, wireless charging has essentially not been an option for the average consumer unless they wanted to pay $60 for the official Quick Circle case (compared to $16 for this CHOETECH knock off which was only recently released). The only option for those of us who wanted wireless charging and actually knew that we had other options was to deal with the headache of tracking down a seller who sold a wireless NCF/Qi sticker and installing it ourselves, with many users reporting just as many failures as successes. Sadly, LG just does a poor job of actually supporting their phones once they're out of the door.
Wireless charging aside, there's not even many quality options for an affordable, quality Quick Circle case and none other that I've seen that actually replace the battery door cover rather than just snapping onto your phone like a standard phone case and adding extra bulk. Out of nowhere, here comes CHOETECH giving consumers an option for wireless charging and a quick circle case in the style of LG's official version. Not only that, maybe there's also hope that we'll see other styles of non-folio, wireless charging cases that similarly replace the battery door cover (fingers crossed).
I don't have an official LG Quick Circle case to compare this one to, but, from comparing photos, it looks exactly the the official case minus the LG branding. I received the black case for my review and, despite it being listed as "black," this case is a gray color. In fact, it's the same exact gray as the standard "Metallic Gray" back that you can purchase the G4 in. They both have the same diamond pattern back, but it's definitely more pronounced with this case. While it's a very subtle feeling with the standard back cover, you can actually easily feel the diamond patterned back on this case and it's actually a kind of cool feeling. Furthermore, I feel like this case is less slippery than the standard back plate, though my girlfriend disagrees with me on that point. The texture of the screen cover has a nice, soft fabric feel to it.
The case fits great. You snap your phone into it just as if you were snapping on your standard back plate so it's minimal bulk. I'd say it offers just as much protection as those slim, plastic cases that you can purchase. That is, it protects the corners of your phone, though the top and bottom remained a bit exposed. In addition to that protection, your screen also has a cover to protect it from scratches except for the open circle. No ports are blocked and there are cutouts for both the LED indicator and front speaker so that you can take calls without opening the cover.
In short, it's a near perfect folio case, though I would have preferred true black to be a color option along with other color choices and maybe even leather varieties.
My main gripe with this case is that there is no real way to keep the cover closed. I wish it had some sort of magnetic clamp to keep it closed. When you first get the case, the flap connecting the cover to the base of the case is a bit rigid so the cover will not stay closed flat on the screen without some effort on your part, though, after using it for a while, it becomes less of a nuisance. Still, I would have liked to see some sort of way to keep the cover clasped shut without any thought or effort.
My only other gripes are with the functionality of the quick circle view and its compatible apps and that's no fault of the case. I basically only use the open circle view for viewing the time so I wouldn't mind seeing a variant of this case without the circle opening since it's usually more convenient to just look at your full screen anyway.
I would definitely recommend this case, but not for everybody. If you don't like folio cases, then obviously this isn't the case for you. However, if you're just looking for a way to get wireless charging onto your phone and you really don't like folio cases, you could always pull off or cut the flap that holds the screen cover to your case and just discard it so long as you don't mind that the case is no longer symmetrical. To anyone else that genuinely likes folio cases, is genuinely interested in the circle view function, and would also like to have wireless charging on their phone, then I think you should at least give this case a try. It's cheap and it feels great without adding extra bulk to your phone.

I bought this case and stand for my lg g4 a month ago and it works perfectly to charger the phone, when my battery is at 100% the charger enters standby mode. And this is where the problem starts for me; the charger will not start again when I need to charge my LG G4.
I need to reconnect the power source for the charger and than it works again, hence the reason for a qi charger is lost.
Do you experience the same problem with the choetech standing qi charger?
I've been in contact with choetech and recived a new case, but its still the same problem. They will send a replacement chargee, but I figure I ask here first if you experienced the same problem.
I backed this on Indiegogo back when I was your age. I recieved mine about a week ago and I love it. It's like a pop socket but way better. It's a good grip and kickstand with a few angles. They are being sold directly from ohsnap.com now. I don't know if they'll be available on Amazon or anywhere else. I currently have mine stuck to a thin tpu case. Still works with wireless charging if the case is thin enough. The grip itself is magnetic. I like sticking my phone to my fridge while I cook. I recommend you check it out.

That's great news , thanks for sharing .
I really, really wanted to like this.
BUT, no matter where I place it, I cannot use any of samsung's wireless chargers and I really don't want to get their specific charger and find out that the metal ring blocks it too.
Looks cheap! I wouldn't put that on my phone! That's my beef with PopSockets is they make your premium phone look cheap!

It's actually very well designed. Just the metal ring and/or magnets block the wireless charging.

I've actually only used the Snapcharge that you can buy with this, so I'm uncertain if it works with other wireless chargers. The makers say it will do I was inclined to believe it. I don't think it looks cheap at all and I have the plastic version. There is also the Luxe version, which is made out of aluminum. My biggest problem with pop sockets were that they did not just slide into your pocket, but this slides into my pocket with ease.
Negative and positive
So it works on "most" wireless chargers but Samsung and some other chargers have a "protection" of sorts in case they feel interference. This causes wireless charging to pause/stop. Ironically the cheap fast wireless chargers that don't have this work fine.
I have 2 of the OnSnap - the regular and the LUXE.
If you use a lot of Samsung wireless chargers don't waste your money because it wont work no matter which way you place it or where on the body of the phone you place it.
The only exception would be if you have a case and are ok with taking the case off to allow wireless charging through the SAMSUNG Wireless chargers or the like (not bad counting on the case)
If you have a naked phone (no case) it counts on your wireless charger set up. Because once the ring is on there is no taking it off and then putting it back on as the metal ring is meant to stay on. The rest of the OhSnap is meant to well snap off if you need to and it just reattaches without issue to the metal ring.
Most non-Samsung wireless chargers worked but it will be a hit and miss since there's so many out there but I would say there's more on the working side then on non-working side.
But biggest take away is Don't plan for this to work with Samsung chargers.
They don't ship this grip outside of US... Is there any way to buy it if you're from Europe?
If no, is there an alternative grip?
