Hello guys, i need help. My moto x is charing very very slow, i think it might be beacuse im using an old motorola charger.
I have another samsung charger, but its has more amp and out power. Is it safe if i use it?
Specifications of both chargers:
MOTOROLA CHARGER:
Model: FMP5525A
Input: 100-240v - 50/60HZ 0.2A
Output: 5.1V=850mA
SAMSUNG CHARGER:
Model: ETA0U80RBS
Input: 100-240v 50-60Hz 0,15A Automatic
Salida: 5,0V = 1,0A
what is the best charger to use?
Im sorry for my bad english, and thanks for reading this!

Both chargers are relatively the same, the Samsung one has output of 5W, while the Motorola one of 4.33W.
This means that you should not see significant difference between them, unless one is defective. So if your Motorola charger is way slower to charge your phone, compared to the Samsung one, then there is something wrong.
Well, you could use an app called Ampere to compare the charging current.
The original Moto X charger comes with 2.1A output. Get a 2A charger for charging quickly.
Like nijom said, you will need at least a 2amp charger. 2.4 is probably best.

Hey All!!
I remember I bought a Philips Power2Go about 3 years ago! I just found it and am charging it now to help extend battery life of my HTC HD2.
Perhaps some of you would see this as an alternative.

I recommend the Just Mobile Gum Pro as an alternative as it is similarly sized and can give the HD2 2.5 full charges which probably means an additional 3-4 days for average users. It's £30 online.
Thanks! The Power2Go can only charge once.
+1 for the GUM Pro
i've had a gum pro for a couple of weeks and it's brilliant -- small size & weight and with a capacity of 4400mAh it can manage 2-3 full charges of my hd2. it's also capable of 1000mA output (though possibly only if you use a charging-only cable with the data pins shorted*) so you can continue to use your phone full steam while charging as if it were plugged into a mains charger.
*i'm using a retractable usb-->miniusb cable with an ebay usb mini-->micro adaptor attached. the adaptor has the data pins shorted which fools the hd2 into thinking that there is a mains charger attached so that it doesn't limit the charging current to 500mA.
I know this question sounds dumb, but I have a vzw branded car charger and my g2 says incompatible and will not use for the phones protection .
And has anyone seen any cool slim bumper covers? Some seem to bulky
I use this one. As long as something isn't in the USB, it works fine. No warnings & fast charge.

What's wrong with using the USB port? How much was the charger?

Nothing is wrong per se, the phone complains that it is on slow charge when I have something plugged in because of current draw by the other device.
I bought it last year, but I think it's $19.99 at their store. The issue is the output. We have a couple of Motorola chargers (wall & car) that the phone complains about due to low output amps.

It takes 3 hours charging with orijinal adapter. İs that normal?

Your charging voltage and current seems to be too low for 43% battery level.
I have two "chargers" supplied with my P9 - one with UK pins, the other with AU pins. Both are rated 5V and 2A. I tried both.
When I charge at 47% level, the voltage is 4.05V for both chargers, and the current is 1440mA with one charger, and 1800mA with the other. Why the difference I don't know.
I also use the Ampere application, and did not have any other app running. Wi-Fi was on.
Personally, I would be happy with 3 hour charging. I believe it is the best for the longest battery life. But if you need fast charging, you need 9V "charger". There is a separate thread for fast charging.
cheers
Has this been resolved? Encountering the same issue.
Tried factory resetting to no avail. Looking into the option of swapping it to a new unit
in fast charging,it take 50 minutes to go from 5% to 90%
So, this week arrive my new supercharger and kevlar cable, both from a company called Blitzwolf.
Not the first one i buy and their quality is very very good!

I really think this is a must, specially the charger.
And you, still on OEM charger?
Yes.
I have the original, tronsmart and aukey. Both tronsmart and aukey can almost reach the maximum QC 3.0 power (18W) when charging from 0%. My USB doctor shows 5.7-5.9V @ 3.0-3.1A (at least for the first few percents).
Yes....but this one can kick 2 port, and quiete probably better line stability, with less noise....
Just saying the electronics inside are more stronger....and except my Oppo with VOOC, i never used original chargers....they look too week or basic...
Hi, is there any good Qi wireless charger like "addon" for xc? i would really like charge from QI and tho to sometimes charge through cable so maybe anyone saw anything like put type-c in for q charger and another type-c comes there to charge from wired cable. im mostly concerned abut Qi charging speed cause it wont go faster than 1A. share your thoughts and info hehe :> is someone using QI charger for x compact at all? or anyone cant link me where to buy case with QI receiver :/

Some people like those Qi add-ons. In any case, they're best when they don't charge too fast; you don't want to generate too much heat - the enemy of long battery life!
Make sure your case is a tight fit, as you want as little space in between charger and phone as possible.
