ATT S6 G920AUCU1AOE2 Root issue - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6

I had my S6 rooted for a bit then when I wanted to unroot. So I went to superuser and hit unroot. I rebooted my phone and used a root checker and it said that my phone is now unrooted. I then went to the settings and saw that my device status is still "custom". Even after a factory reset it still says "custom". Is there any way I can get it back to official? Also my KNOX counter has not been tripped. I'm also on Android 5.0.2

Do you have a link for the firmware? I haven't been able to find it for my phone. Thanks for the reply!

Hey I just wanted to say I actually figured it out! I successfully unrooted my phone and I'm now running 5.1.1 with my device status as Official now? I just flashed the stock firmware I found on here and then factory reset my phone as soon as it booted then updated to 5.1.1 and restored it. Thanks for everything!

[Q] Flash Custom recovery rooted Note 3 Att 4.4.2

Hey all, I have searched and searched but can't seem to find anything. Tried removing carrier iq the wrong way, just removed the files from the system, caused a boot loop, I'm rooted but don't have a custom recovery installed, can someone direct me to the correct file to flash by Odin to install a custom recovery? That way I can reinstall / move the files back to where they were? Will this work? Thanks a lot! Jeremy
There is no custom recovery for the AT&T Note 3. You said you're on 4.4.2, correct? If so, you'll have to use the MLG restore (see the link in my signature for a guide) or go to a Samsung Experience Center at your local Best Buy and have them reflash your phone.
Thanks, that's what I was thinking. And as far as best buy, I've tried before and the guy there said flashing a rooted phone will brick it and he absolutely would not do it so... And that's the only best buy around so...

I took my rooted phone to Best Buy when it was on MJ5 in order to update to OTA 4.4 when it was released, and it worked just fine. Maybe something changed then.

Yeah what I was thinking, he doesn't know what he's talking about pretty much, I didn't want to even go up there and try because of the lack of knowledge. But now I do want to flash my phone to nc2 stock and go from there. Are we sure that I can? I'm running the flashed method of the mj5 itself, no nc2 kernel or anything, just the flashed mj5 from Carl's post.

thats MGL with A3 bootloader, if you install that then you will not have any trace of Root. You can do a factory reset first and then install that odin install, then go to AT&T if thats your carrier and they may do more for you than best buy.
Or do this if you want official nc2 4.4.2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2701062

thats only good if you have the A2 older bootloader, I think jeremyds45 took the A3 bootloader, to my understanding
That's what he has he said he flashed mj5
---------- Post added at 08:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:29 PM ----------
Now if he has mlg I would suggest he use your nc2 thread in development
If anyone is interested in the future, best buy can indeed flash the official NC2 4.4.2 kitkat to your note 3 as long as you're not on verizon, rooted, or have tripped knox, have a custom rom or the like. When i went in this time i actually spoke to someone who knew something and hooked me up, samsung rep, plugged it in to their computer, downloaded the software, rebooted and all was back to normal. Just like an official ota update, didn't lose any of my files, settings anything. So we're back, and now rooted and rollin.
So basically anyone who installed safestrap and doesn't have a working backup is out of luck.

If you want to go back to stock 4.4.2, you can flash by odin the leaked tar, which will remove root, and everything, then go to best buy have them flash the nc2 official, then start from scratch there, with rooting and safestrap etc.

Can't you just uninstall safestrap and delete any root files off the internal SD card?

Make sure you read and understand what you read before attempting to root your phone. If you mess something up you may potentially brick your phone.

[Q] Will the locked bootloader prevent me from flashing T-Mobile Stock ROM?

I don't know if other people have asked this question, but I read a lot about locked bootloaders (and yes, I've been there with my own phone xD) and they talk about how it's not really possible (?) to flash custom ROMs with phones like that.
I have an unlocked SM-G900A and I'm on T-Mobile, but I really need the Wifi Calling.
Will the bootloader think it's a non-verified custom rom?
I don't want to send my phone to Samsung again...lol
Thanks!
You should be fine, i'm running a tmo rom currently, not sure if WiFi calling would work though.

Also, before I start flashing, if anyone knows about Sammobile firmwares- do they have modems inside the .md5?
I have it ready but I don't really...uh...want to flash the modem if it's there. LOL so confused...I saw another forum where it said the modem was already inside the sammobile firmware file, but some say it's fine so...I honestly don't know... xD

Oh i didnt know you meant using odin for a rom, no i would avoid that, as for just normal g900t roms from the tmo section, yes you can do that with flashfire/safestrap/multisystem, i dont know about odin though, pretty sure it wont work.

Recovery Is not Seandroid Enforcing Please help!!

I really ****ed up. I updated my phone to 5.1.1 and tried to root my s6 with CF-Auto Root by chainfire but it was for 5.0.2 and so I used that root for 5.1.1 and now its stuck when I restart it and says at the top left "Recovery Is Not Seandroid Enforcing." And is tuck on Samsung Galaxy S6 screen. I have also provided a picture. Hopefully someone can help me.
did you try smartswitch from your computer? other than that maybe odin the 5.1.1 official firmware, as of now as far as I know you can't flash anything else,, can you go to stock recovery and clear cache?
Just odin a stock 5.1.1 firmware. Root isn't supported yet on 5.1.1, you'll have to wait.
EDIT : get into download mode by holding volume down and home button while you start your device

Welp, Im in the same boat bud. Sucks lol. Bye bye 700 dollars
If you took the update - you cannot go back to 5.02 - if you tried and are stuck on the boot screen -then you will need to do Odin and flash the full stock 5.1.1 - then wait until they figure out how to get root back. As of right now, there are no other options - on either G920T or G925T.
But be patient - smarter people than me are saying we will eventally get root - the bootloader is not locked

[WARNING] YOU CAN'T ROOT or install recovery on T-Mobile S5 to 5.1.1!

This is a [WARNING] Don't flash any other thing after you update Tmobile S5 to 5.1.1!
I have just flashed 5.1.1 and tried to flash CF-AUTOROOT / TWRP / CWM / ANY ROOT OR RECOVERY and I stucked at bootloop while the phone kept on ringing 4times at the T-mobile boot screen.
i think Samsung had changed something to prevent from install recovery or root on S5 in 5.1.1.
We should wait for someone to make 5.1.1 root.
The good news: You are able to downgrade from 5.1.1 to 5.0 or even 4.4 just by flashing previous firmwares using ODIN.
Without any problem. Full service, imei, SV, .... everything's fine.
Try wiping your caches in recovery. Same thing happened to me for 5.0
