How to do a logcat1º Download Logviewer and extract the files.
2º Connect the phone to pc an check if you have usb debugging active
3º Opening logview.bat it will ask for adb path (adb is in the logview folder)
4º Now you should see the log spamming about sensors. Right click in the message and press "Hide with this tag". Do this for the 5 sensors messages and you should be good to start logging.
5º Now go to the menu adb and click reset logs. After this reproduce the bug.
Example:
Camera app is crashing.
-Click reset log.
-Open camera.
-Disconnect device from pc to stop logging
-Go to file, save, give a name.
6º Send log to Adrian.

Just saying considering there's a load of stuff broken and it would've been wise to wait than jump the gun and receive a wave of complaints and PMs...

SD Card
Can anyone will tell me what causes my external sd to change directory . On previous build(20150710) my sd card location was on /storage/sdcard1 but after flashing any latest update my sd card location changes to /mnt/media_rw/sdcard1/ . I can't use my sdcard . It happened on every latest update i flashed . i didn't find any way to fix my sd card location that's why i can't update the rom to latest build . I clean installed the rom . but the result was zero.
EDIT : The actual problem is on the latest build's kernel image . I just flashed the latest build and after the boot i flashed the my old 20150710 build's kernel . Now the external sd card location is on the /storage/sdcard1 directory .
Feature request: An option to toggle video stabilizer on/off on CM 12.1 stock camera
First of all, i apologize if i'm rude to posting here and suddenly asking something. I was already asking this question on Q&A thread for 5 days, and still no answer. I assume, that my question on Q/A thread was impossible to do in normal way.
My request are an option to toggle video stabilizer on/off when recording video using CM 12.1 Stock camera app, or disable it all the way.
I don't know if it possible via flashing some update, third party camera app or have to edit some system parameter using root apps. I will gladly become first tester if it will available.
When recording video at sufficient light situation, most of the time, video stablizer works well. But when it comes to low light situation, video stabilizer become a hassle and even, degrade the quality of videos. (unnecessary stabilize, videos shaking by itself because capturing noise as stabilized point.)
Thanks alot. You are doing great work for humanity!

Of course it will lag even if your phone is the Z10 as long as you are squeezing it with all android apps ! keep in mind that the SP has approximately 500MB of free ram so it wont stay smooth if you filled it with all GP store's apps! and please everyone stop asking such noob questions in the development thread!!

I was trying to install gReader Pro 4.2 from Play Store and always getting "error -505" after trying many many things, I decided to install from ADB and got this error:
Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_UPDATE_INCOMPATIBLE]
I have installed gReader on my Nexus 7 with CM12.1, so it's probably not related to Lolipop incompatibility.

I did. That is how I could try to install from ADB terminal, on my PC.
Here is the output of logcat:

UPDATE: SOLVED!
Here's what I did:
1 - Found out where signatures where stored (/data/system/packages.xml).
2 - Tried to edit the file, but it would restore on every reboot.
3 - So I did the following:
Code:
~$ adb shell
~$ su
~# chmod 666 /data/system/packages.xml
4 - Opened Solid Explorer app (gave it root access) and opened the 'packages.xml' file directly from the phone.
5 - Removed the gReader entry that was in the file and saved.
6 - Still in Solid Explorer, navigated to /data/dalvik-cache/ and deleted everything.
7 - Reboot
Code:
~$ adb reboot
8 - Installed gReader Pro successfully

Battery drains while phone off
Hi. I have been trying Nightly for about two weeks in my xperia 5303, I am still having the same problem:
My battery drains when my phone is off. In 8 hours drians more or less 30%, and also drains the same amount in airplane mode.
Do you know if is there something to fix this. Do this happen to anyone?
By the way, so far that is my only problem. Everything else goes perfectly (at least that is what Ive felt).
1% every 15 to 20 minutes in Stand by mode.
3% every 1 minute while normal use (I think it is ok, but not sure).
Thank you.

Using PIN for screen Lock doesn't work. After setting pin i can't try other methods, as entering this setting everytime gives me FC.
LED isn't working when offline charging. And also bootanimation is only showing a black screen on the first boot, the next boot it's showing the animation.
Can confirm too the audio on the speaker is too low. I'm using this ROM as a daily driver after coming from CM13, flashed with TWRP 3.0.1 and using the micro gapps.
So far other than that problems, I'm happy with this ROM. Thanks, devs.

@Adrian Just noticed you are working on a RRO theme based AOSP 6.0. !!!
ı'm using 11042016. the rom is very awesome except for a few bugs (lockscreen pın and pattern , low and low quality volume) rom is super stability , gaming performance good (pianotiles 2 ) thank you @Adrian DC

What is AOSP ?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also non-AOSP features for a better user experience ("Clear All" button in Recents) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

What is OMS / Substratum ?
Substratum is an application, downloadable from the Play Store, that utilizes all of Sony's Overlay Manager Service (OMS), found on the official AOSP code review. This is similar to Layers in terms of stability and customization as it runs off an upgraded version of the Resource Runtime Overlay system, with the added benefit of running up-to-date Sony code on a customized ROM.

What is RRO ?

Verry verry smooth rom!! Clean & fast (the best performance I have had on my xsp). I haven't engaged any bug so far. Outstanding work AdrianDC. Thanks!
which recovery use for this rom , i used twrp-3.0.1-r6-fota-huashan.zip for CM13 worked fine, but it not work for this rom
Thanks Adrian. You are the king.
Is theis rom better than CM13 in performance ?
Smoothest ROM I've tested so far!!
Only con is that it lacks some important customization features...( I guess that's because it's aosp). Hope a smooth RRO rom with some CM level customization will fulfill the gap in future
I somehow don't see the NFC toggle option in settings in wireless and network
Which kernel should I use with this ROM?
Now I'm using CM13 on my XSP. Do I need to use another kernel?
Every single ROM has its own kernel and installs it, you don't need to change anything.
I added infos about the SystemUI Tuner from Marshmallow in the OP.
For everything related to the recent audio HAL update (low volumes, ...),
please do follow this and test everything you can : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...d-13-0-xperia-sp-t3347677/page17#post66390074
no sim card
Hi,
After a few reboots the sim card isn't detected anymore. Reboot/shutdown solves nothing.
No issue using CM13.
Log cat is in attachment.
Build: 17/04 clean install + opengapps 17/04 + supersu 2.52
I encountered the same issue on an earlier CAF version
Thank for your help

Issue still present on 18/04 build. Clean install once again.
It seems to happen after I configure some android parameter that puts it in an unrecoverable state.
EDIT: => I tried a TWRP wipe after having the issue, and it didn't solved it. The google setup was asking me to insert a sim card.

What do you mean by that?

It doesn't happen immediately, I can reboot it at first and while going further in the configuration it seems to reach that unusable state (no sim detected)
The fact that a wipe doesn't solve the issue kinda invalidate that idea.
I could try to use it raw with no extra software nor configuration but I'm not really convinced it's the right solution [emoji6]
whatsapp audio is not working for me. It says it's impossible to configure recorder now, try again later, but it doesn't work.

Correct, a left over from AOSP-CAF 6.0 on Huashan, thanks.
@AdrianDC Is it possible for you to give the files a more explanatory name at mega, I downloaded a file named AOSP-CAF-7.x.zip.
And a checksum would be nice.
You're talking about the folder's name, look at the zips, they all detail the name, date and device.
Folder names won't be modified for compatibility and scripting reasons..
Oh, I see, I downloaded a folders zip and it has the zip nicely named inside. Thanks.
