Correct, a left over from AOSP-CAF 6.0 on Huashan, thanks.
@AdrianDC Is it possible for you to give the files a more explanatory name at mega, I downloaded a file named AOSP-CAF-7.x.zip.
And a checksum would be nice.
You're talking about the folder's name, look at the zips, they all detail the name, date and device.
Folder names won't be modified for compatibility and scripting reasons..
Oh, I see, I downloaded a folders zip and it has the zip nicely named inside. Thanks.

Using PIN for screen Lock doesn't work. After setting pin i can't try other methods, as entering this setting everytime gives me FC.
LED isn't working when offline charging. And also bootanimation is only showing a black screen on the first boot, the next boot it's showing the animation.
Can confirm too the audio on the speaker is too low. I'm using this ROM as a daily driver after coming from CM13, flashed with TWRP 3.0.1 and using the micro gapps.
So far other than that problems, I'm happy with this ROM. Thanks, devs.

What is AOSP ?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also non-AOSP features for a better user experience ("Clear All" button in Recents) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

What is OMS / Substratum ?
Substratum is an application, downloadable from the Play Store, that utilizes all of Sony's Overlay Manager Service (OMS), found on the official AOSP code review. This is similar to Layers in terms of stability and customization as it runs off an upgraded version of the Resource Runtime Overlay system, with the added benefit of running up-to-date Sony code on a customized ROM.

What is RRO ?
Runtime Resource Overlay (RRO) was contributed by Sony to the Android code base. The RRO framework provides the possibility to modify the look and feel of an application while it is running, without any need to change or recompile the application source code. In short, RRO is a Theme Engine replacement which can do wonders!

Verry verry smooth rom!! Clean & fast (the best performance I have had on my xsp). I haven't engaged any bug so far. Outstanding work AdrianDC. Thanks!
which recovery use for this rom , i used twrp-3.0.1-r6-fota-huashan.zip for CM13 worked fine, but it not work for this rom
Thanks Adrian. You are the king.
Is theis rom better than CM13 in performance ?
Smoothest ROM I've tested so far!!
Only con is that it lacks some important customization features...( I guess that's because it's aosp). Hope a smooth RRO rom with some CM level customization will fulfill the gap in future
I somehow don't see the NFC toggle option in settings in wireless and network
Which kernel should I use with this ROM?
Now I'm using CM13 on my XSP. Do I need to use another kernel?
Every single ROM has its own kernel and installs it, you don't need to change anything.
I added infos about the SystemUI Tuner from Marshmallow in the OP.
For everything related to the recent audio HAL update (low volumes, ...),
please do follow this and test everything you can : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...d-13-0-xperia-sp-t3347677/page17#post66390074
no sim card
Hi,
After a few reboots the sim card isn't detected anymore. Reboot/shutdown solves nothing.
No issue using CM13.
Log cat is in attachment.
Build: 17/04 clean install + opengapps 17/04 + supersu 2.52
I encountered the same issue on an earlier CAF version
Thank for your help

Issue still present on 18/04 build. Clean install once again.
It seems to happen after I configure some android parameter that puts it in an unrecoverable state.
EDIT: => I tried a TWRP wipe after having the issue, and it didn't solved it. The google setup was asking me to insert a sim card.

It doesn't happen immediately, I can reboot it at first and while going further in the configuration it seems to reach that unusable state (no sim detected)
The fact that a wipe doesn't solve the issue kinda invalidate that idea.
I could try to use it raw with no extra software nor configuration but I'm not really convinced it's the right solution [emoji6]

The Camera API 2 is not something that has to be supported by the ROM
(a Google search would show you it exists since Android 5.0 Lollipop),
but by the Camera stack implemented by the phone's manufacturer upon release.
The Sony 8960 devices' camera stack is the old closed-sources custom HAL1 camera stack
developed by Sony up to 2013-2014, based on the legacy SEMC (Sony Ericsson) HAL1 camera stack.
We spent massive amounts of time over the years & Android releases just to keep this HAL1 alive across the boards.
AdrianDC Thank you for your work!

hi tanx for new update 20191011 after install this update camera and led flash broken (unworked).please sove this problem
tanx for solve notification light in this update
I upgraded my XT to LineageOS16 (thaks @AdrianDC!!!) - currently, I'm testing if certain apps are running with open bootloader and customROM, before upgrading my Nexus5X (main phone).
Q: does the Xperia T "forward" infos about the bootloader, or is the XT one of these phones who "pass" safetynet automatically?
But the image runs smoothly and GREAT. My aging XT is in mint condition again (pun intended

Here the same Problem with camera. After installing Open Camera there came an error: Camera is used by another Programm.
Looks like a driver error.
The XV with Pie=Great job!!!!
Greetings
I'd like to ask is it possible to upgrade the kernel from the 3.x to 4.x? I don't know if upgrading the kernel can help to improve the battery life.
thank you very much for creating 9 rom .
i like adaptive brightness.
but when adaptive brightness is on and i set brightness level to end level after restart phone brightness level goes back previous level and should set again but in oreo rom it was ok.

I have galaxy S3 d2tmo with same chipset (msm8960)and screen resolution but 2 GB ram ,I have los14.1 can any one help me to get Los 16.0 or even 15.1 for my device lo'
Hi,
I really like your fantastic work you did with these devices, especially the xperia V. It would be awesome if you could help us a bit to port your kernel source for the xperia T/V (msm8960) to bring at least a working Oreo kernel source to our device (Samsung Galaxy S3 d2att or d2mo...). This device currently has a stable cm-14.1 kernel branch. I have been trying to play with it and made a bit more progress but it still runs on a lot of errors... As always, there is no obligation.
Thanks, help is appreciated!
