Thank you very much and happy new year!!!:good::good::good:
Another early adopter here.
I'll state that this first LineageOS release is quite good --
Amazingly for a totally new ROM that I never heard of before last week, it might be as good if not slightly better than the Dec25 Cyanogenmod 14.1 release that had been years in the making that I was running previously.
I think I'll keep it.

Actually LineageOS is forked from CyanogenMod so it's not really anything new, just a different name for now.

system freeze
Hi,
Just flashed this rom (full clean flash, *NO* google apps), coming from official stock rom (4.3).
Found one case were the system freezes completely (to restart the device you need to push 5sec the OFF button under the cover), here is how to reproduce :
- install and start Firefox for android (in my case it is version 51.0beta7)
- go to youtube.com and play a video
- tap the android multitask button
- in multitask mode, sound starts to stutter, then after some seconds the system freezes completely.
In general, sound is stuttering when playing a video (or maybe only a sound) in the background via the default web browser also.
Otherwise media playing is fine (default music player and video player) when multitasking.
I find it strange that a user app (Firefox mobile in this case) can completely freeze the system!?

I tried to reproduce this issue and I can assure that the sound is shuttering when multitasking, and the video will stop playing completely after a while if it was playing in the background.. But I didn't face any freezing or hanging..
So, I think it can be a Firefox problem as you said you are using the beta version of FF and I am using FF latest release 15.1.0 or you may have other apps running in the background that eating up your ram.

Correct, a left over from AOSP-CAF 6.0 on Huashan, thanks.
@AdrianDC Is it possible for you to give the files a more explanatory name at mega, I downloaded a file named AOSP-CAF-7.x.zip.
And a checksum would be nice.
You're talking about the folder's name, look at the zips, they all detail the name, date and device.
Folder names won't be modified for compatibility and scripting reasons..
Oh, I see, I downloaded a folders zip and it has the zip nicely named inside. Thanks.

The Camera API 2 is not something that has to be supported by the ROM
(a Google search would show you it exists since Android 5.0 Lollipop),
but by the Camera stack implemented by the phone's manufacturer upon release.
The Sony 8960 devices' camera stack is the old closed-sources custom HAL1 camera stack
developed by Sony up to 2013-2014, based on the legacy SEMC (Sony Ericsson) HAL1 camera stack.
We spent massive amounts of time over the years & Android releases just to keep this HAL1 alive across the boards.
AdrianDC Thank you for your work!

Hi Adrian,

hi tanx for new update 20191011 after install this update camera and led flash broken (unworked).please sove this problem
tanx for solve notification light in this update
I upgraded my XT to LineageOS16 (thaks @AdrianDC!!!) - currently, I'm testing if certain apps are running with open bootloader and customROM, before upgrading my Nexus5X (main phone).
Q: does the Xperia T "forward" infos about the bootloader, or is the XT one of these phones who "pass" safetynet automatically?
But the image runs smoothly and GREAT. My aging XT is in mint condition again (pun intended

Looks like a driver error.

I'd like to ask is it possible to upgrade the kernel from the 3.x to 4.x? I don't know if upgrading the kernel can help to improve the battery life.

Hi,
I really like your fantastic work you did with these devices, especially the xperia V. It would be awesome if you could help us a bit to port your kernel source for the xperia T/V (msm8960) to bring at least a working Oreo kernel source to our device (Samsung Galaxy S3 d2att or d2mo...). This device currently has a stable cm-14.1 kernel branch. I have been trying to play with it and made a bit more progress but it still runs on a lot of errors... As always, there is no obligation.
Thanks, help is appreciated!

Wow, this is awesome! Thank you for keeping this device still alive in 2019 and all your efforts for bringing LOS 16 to the Xperia SP!
OMG, this device travelled from 4.1 to stable 9.0
Isn't it amazing?
All thanks to FXP team, mrcl1450, AdrianDC and other guys who do commits on github.
I'm on XZ1C now, but sometimes im looking on development for my old XSP, because it's still lies on my table.
Wow, just amazing...
Miracast on Android Pie

Sadly Google has removed support for Miracast in AOSP P.
An attempt to revive the abandoned code for LineageOS 16.0 is ongoing and on review.

Sorry, I mistakenly wrote the previous post to the wrong thread.
I confirm, Miracast works correctly on android 9 for OnePlus One for custom ROMs:
Arrow OS and BootleggersROM.
Maybe this information will be useful.
Thank you for making this ROM Adrian, great work.
There's one issue though, the ROM keeps stuttering/lagging most of the time. Much more than your older LOS 16.0 April build.
Official LOS 15.1 does not have this issue.
I don't use GApps.
Hey guys does anyone knows what Magisk version is compatible with this ROM?
Sent from my lavender using XDA Labs
micro gapps package is not install with latest LOS16. THE SYSTEM SAYS no space is available after flashing los16 (latest). so then how to install micro gapps in that case?

Recent is compatible but you must flash it through Bootbridge.

Hello AdrianDC, i have clicked the Official downloads page some times, but basketbuild is no longer active
(maybe month).
And next question: Development page is for beta builds ? Maybe this is answer, why my Xperia SP lags.

Everything seems to be fine with me, including the proximity gestures. What precisely is the issue that you are referring to, though?
Whats the difference between this and the official one? which one is more stable?

There is no "official" LOS 16.0 for this devices. Only 15.1. Adrian DC is the maintainer of both. When he finds the time he will probably make the required changes to the official builds, but in the meantime you can use this one.
Note that you need special migration builds if you want to switch between official and unofficial builds.
Regarding stability: the 15.1 branch has (for me, my wife and at least one other xda user) memory handling issues since September. So in general it is very stable, but might fill memory up and then freeze for a minute..
