Hello there!
I've tried numerous custom ROMs here (based on 5.1.1, AOSP and CM alike), but on most of them I have problem in sync with my Android Wear watch (Samsung Gear Live) - applications won't sync at all or they do after a very, very long time. The only ROM, that is working without any trouble, is XenonHD (based on 5.0.2 lollipop).
Can anyone give me a tip for ROM based on Android 5.1.1, which has no trouble synchronizing with Android Wear?
I'm using official cm and i have no problem with Android wear and LG g watch! Have you disabled wake-up option on Google play services?

Even the mid-range Samsung phones such as Galaxy Ace 2 officially supports Google Maps 7 from Google Play. The LG-P880 seems to stuck at Google Maps 6.14 forever....
I'm using Maps 7.7 on my p880 with CM11 Nightly.... You mean on LG's stock ROM perhaps?
Yes, I am on stocked LG JB 4.1.2 ROM. I am not into custom ROM yet. Galaxy ACE 2 with stocked JB 4.1.2 ROM gets Google Map 7.x updates. Hence I don't understand why can't mine get the updates, too.
V7 can be manually installed on stock, but it has bugs with flickery screen for some reason
I have the S3mini GT-I8190 with Bluetooth V4.0
When I download and install "Bluetooth Smart Scanner" in the app store from Semilink, I can find me Bluetooth Smart Ready device (Which is a BL600 from Laird). However the standard Bluetooth search built into the OS (Android 4.1.2) cannot find said device.
It has been suggested in the Samsung forums that this app relies on "com.samsung.bluetoothle" for the LE support.
Is there a ROM available for the S3 mini that realizes BLE devices to the android OS, it seems that the hardware is functioning as the above app can find it.

Does anyone have "com.samsung.bluetoothle" ??
Many thanks

Thanks for that, an update of the OS released the functionality of the Bluetooth Smart built in to the phone.
Hello all,
Is there any possible way to port the motorola apps (Moto Display, Camera etc.) to a Moto X running AOSP based ROM like CM?
The Source of the Moto X, doesn't come the sources of this apps?
Thanks
You would need the framework from Motorola's firmware. Besides, the stock firmware is far more stable than any AOSP-based ROM. What does CM so for you that Xposed can't?
I think the problem here is the 5.0 update and the switch to art. That means no xposed. So if somebody mixed cm customization with stock stability and functions, we'd have a real winner.

Actually I can have all i need with xposed, but someday we'll not receive anymore updates(maybe in a year?), and this phone I think will last for more 3 years, I wish to have latest Android , but with our unique features.
Hi folks. I'm getting impatient for Lollipop and was going to flash my rooted Note 3 (n900w8 - the Canadian model) with the latest CM12 nightly build. My only hesitation is that it will screw up Android Wear functionality. Anybody using CM12 with their watch and want to share the experience? Thanks in advance!

Why will you have a problem ? It isn't a gear that won't work anywhere except touchwiz.
That's why I was asking. CM12 is missing some features like NFC. So... Is anyone who is actually using both having any compatibility issues with CM12 and Android Wear?

I've been running CM12 nightlies on my LG G3 since I got the G Watch R and haven't had a problem with connectivity between the two.
Thanks! I've got CM12 installed and everything appears to by syncing fine. Appreciate your feedback.
Hi,
I finally managed to somehow install cyanogenmod 12 on my Xperia E3 (D2203), download and install 'android auto' (as it is not available in Belgium apparently), but I get an error when connecting to my Hyundai Ioniq, stating 'incompatible phone'.
Does anyone have any idea on how to troubleshoot this as to find out where the problem lies?
Best regards
Same Problem with RAZR HD
Hi,
I have the same problem with a RAZR HD XT925 phone, with Cyanogenmod 12.1-20160822-NIGHTLY-xt925 rom, based on Android 5.1.1.
The car detect the connexion but Android Auto, downloaded on Google Play on the phone, says "incompatible phone, you can't connect it to your car...".
Is it caused by Cyanogenmod or by the rooted state of the phone ?
Is someone could use Android Auto with Cyanogenmod (12.1) one day ?
Is there a specific apk for Android Auto to use it with Cyanogenmod ?
Continue to search but your advices are welcome !
Thanx !
