Could anyone tell me which N7000 official firmware has the lightest (ICS) rom...I mean virtually no bloatware? I'm in Bangladesh...the modem for Bangladesh firmware has poor audio quality and so does the Indian one. The German LRT was good but had too much bloatware. anyone?

I am on XXLS7...currently on Alliancerom...
I know I can mix match rom and radio but I was wondering if there was one which is light and had a good radio...I need my phone to be bug-free for a few weeks and light footed.

The carphone warehouse version is pretty light and nippy. I'm going to stick with it i think.

Hi all, this may be a stupid question to ask, but i'm just a newbie here. I've been wondering what is the differences between these three firmware upgrade for SGSA GT-I9070? Hope that you guys can help me to clear all the differences. What i know is these firmware is upgrade version of SGSA from GB to JB. With all relevant answers, i appreciate it very much  Thank you in advance
I went to the Jelly Bean since December 2012 and now LPY version of any month I JB version, ie LQ4.
What I can say this last version is more stable with kernel Adi Pat, SIRI rc-4, I dont have any lag or FC, battery keeps me around for two days with a few hours of browsing, games, voice calls, without 3G, only WiFi.
Overall I am very satisfied with the current configuration.
Y was the first JB upgrade and then Z was released and now latest most stable build is LQ4. But still you require custom kernels to be lag free. An international official release is awaited this april

So, this mean the first version is a test and they upgrade to XXLPZ. later to LQ4 which mean almost bug free? i would consider to flash this LQ4 firmware but right now still enjoying JetMOD
now i download xxlqb wich is new than other? xxlqb or xxlq4
lqb is newer.
But is it better. I have lots of lag in it even with custom kernel as opposed to lq4

Hi Guys!
When I bought my phone it came with an unbranded (no T-mobile bootanim just the funky Samsung one) firmware.
Played with some roms when I decided to make it full stock again but I am unable to find unbranded firmware, only T-Mobile versions for it...
Can you help me maybe with a link or something?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, the DBT version (for Germany) is 100% unbranded and works fine. Other is NEE (Finland). Those two are tested myself and no branding or bloatware present. No issues with OTA or Kies (well, if you're in Europe).

Yes, I have used this ROM on all my S3's and no issues at all. (Voda,Virgin,Orange).
Use Odin and do hard reset before and after flashing!
If you want a ROM which is pretty much close to stock, you could have a look at "The Galaxy Project": http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2125984
It's based on the official Samsung ROMs (not AOSP/CM etc), it looks like the stock ROM, and the only difference is some minor tweaking, completely unbranded, and bloat removal. It's completely international (Europe, Oceania etc) and uses the most current Firmware (4.1.2 XXBMR8).
By the way, here's another location for untouched Firmwares:
http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9305
No login needed which is helpful.
As the title states, I'm currently running stock:
JZ054K.N7000XXLT4 with a baseband of N7000XXLT3
Is there a better firmware out there that I should be running? I want to keep it as stock as possible, but I'm feel like I'm missing out on a newer firmware even though my Germany unit says I'm up to date.
Suggestions?
Thanks!

its too late to answer this question... n7000 is almost a couple of years old now.. if you planning to buy a new one , why not go for newer models

My personal advice would be, if you are insisting on purchasing a note it is a lovely device, I wouldn't replace mine with a newer galaxy S3 or even an S4. But I might consider a note 2 if I were you. The large screen is awesome.
Another word of advice is to keep the note as stock as possible, unless you love fiddling with modded ROMs, and that could be challenging.

You have xxlt9 firmware available which you can flash. Just make sure sure flash the carrier free version (not from vodafone or orange as it wouod be bloated like hell).
And the modem version is same that's xxlt3 so I dont think that would be an issue.
I'm from Indiabut using the UK latest furmware myself. No troubles at all.
I'm currently living in Pakistan and still haven't gotten the 4.3 update,is their something wrong?
Some say that flashing tft has some bugs so i didn't flashed it.
Can someone tell me if their is any issue of flashing a tft vs ota or pcc.
And plz tell me which region's tft has minimal bugs
btw i have an unbranded c5303.
Thnx in Advance
You're not alone.
SP users in the UK, also haven't got an official UK update.
Despite the fact that they stated that UK users could update through PC Companion.
:c
Who knows when the waiting will end.
trust me you may not even want 4.3, yes it has some new features like new camera ui and a bit different messaging and app drawer and stuff but its awfully glitchy
Hi bro.
Don't wait anymore. Flash a 4.3 ftf file using flash tool.
Pakistan update won't come soon.

Thnx for the rply, flashed the generic tft and loving it except the first boot which was laggy.
Btw which tft did u flashed?
4.3 is way buggy for me, so I've changed my rom to cyanogen mod 10 for locked bootloaders, way way better than stock 4.3, proper smooth aswel

I am using Existenze 1.0.5
But CE FTF 4.3 was also v good if u want non-rooted.
Otherwise, puestockdeodexed v2 is the way to go for root + 4.3 with least bugs.

Given Sony's update habits, 1-3 updates are buggy as hell. So you should wait.
