My RR rom build is ended because MI 5S get official RR rom!

i used same device tree .vendor blob and kernel. so it's bug is same as xiaobai's build

Just downloaded and has been using this ROM for over 5 hours. So far so good. Super smooth. A few quirks here and there but I think that's just resurrection remix's fault. ROM is super smooth and fast. Thanks for this dev!

Hi. I'm an AOSP fan and i tried to build it for Angler (Nexus 6p). I never installed it though...
Can you point me to somewhere what I have to do to add your device tree and so on to AOSP so I could build for Capricorn? Or are you planning to do an AOSP build?

Running smooth since 8h ago. Great job!
Camera still buggy, but it's ok for now. I use long-press app shortcuts (and the camera app has recording and selfie shortcuts).
But please, PLEASE add the hardware button swapping script from @ru1dev so we can have the Nexus way of navigation built in, not as an extra flashing step.

It isnt impotent, because he is just building them, if i am correct. Maintainer is i believe Nozunamoe for RR. If the inviroment is correct he just needs lunch and maybe fix some build errors.... Not saying it is easy BTW... Tried before

Kernel source code is not ready for using it "out of the box", it requires a lot of work and testing.

I think the sources have been released just recently, that means that the developers barely had any time to start development. I just flashed Xiaomi.eu rom, looks really promising to me because I didn't have many issues with stock rom.

No sources released yet... Maybe wait another 6 month's...

There is a lineage is 14.1 ROM and mokee ROM then why anybody try to build or port other ROMs ? I'm a doctor not a developer but I tried to port but without much knowledge very difficult for me but any one developer can try.

Without source code, it's difficult, sometimes impossible to make any kind of stable custom ROM. The source code was released just a little while ago and the development went up a little bit. Nobody can tell you will be there or not a stable RR or LOS.

its funny how people dont seem to be able to keep track of time
mi max 2 was released in june/july last year, so its been out for 8-9 months now. so still several months to go until a full year...
the new LOS 14.1 version is already very close to bugfree, only LED blinking and SELinux state are missing.
Also, XenonHD dev said he will publish a new build very soon, with working FPS and most current bugs fixed.
So these two roms are already VERY close to official
