Not only N920K, but hope someone can make a custom rom with working calling audio for N920S also. Both models is korean variant and both suffer with the calling audio (no sound at all) during calling.

Plz check it again. That topic for Note5 Duos N9208, not for singgle sim Korea variant.

You know what is problem? I can provide a ROM but not possible to update frequently. Once there is no regular update then some user push badly and never understand developer and keep spoiling thread..

We just need major updade, not frequently and quick update like international.
If you are only option to have custom Rom, I'm pretty sure they will not complaint, just praise you and your hard work.
N920K, N920S and N920L can share same rom, just different modem, bootloader which dev will not touch on any Note 5 variant
Devs shouldn't have to bother with different modem, bootloader, we the user can easily find that ourselves plus a dev has enough on their plate when creating a custom ROM.
There are a couple of Note5 ROMs available for which you're searching here on XDA.
The problem is some people don't bother reading and/or researching for their smartphone.

Atleast I tried to flash 3 Roms included Dr's N920C/I/G on my N5. I found that they have only incall sound problem, all other I saw work fine.

Let me download it first. If I could find audio fix then it will be better as you may get updated with international ROM
I will check and send you fix if possible. Meanwhile do flash my ROM L4 and make nandroid so anytime you can test fix.

I made my nandroid backup/EFS once I rooted and made some optimize/tweak on stock one. I'm willing to test any fix, any Rom you send/pm me.

Good news for N920K/L/S users. I have made call audio fix and reporting working fine. Still needs few test to perform. Stay tuned.

Have you found a good rom yet if not i can only give you the name of the rom cos i didnt cook the rom myself try google sm-n920k genius rom ok, it should be in samsungviet or something like that i send you the call audio fix tomorrow ok im not next to my comp atm sr

I got disappointed when I heard the Wifi (P1010) model was different in the inside, so it has been a pain in the ass to find something that works with this model.
All custom ROMs for Galaxy Tabs are only for the 3G ones, so it will be nice to see a custom ROM for WiFi only tabs, specially a Gingerbread or Honeycomb one. Even a Froyo rom would be nice.
Any volunteer who wants to make one for us? I will really appreciate your help!

Spacemoose1 will be shortly all us p1010'ers hope atleast to be starting an alpha release on this over the coming says for testing maybe mid to the end of next week hopefully.. Follow this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1020167 till work is started..... but don't go beyond routing your device till some one knowledgeable actually posts a working version.. can route and overclock but thats about it for the moment >:¬{ and WOULD NOT attempt anything else just yet even flashing the other rom listed as as of yet there is no way back if something happens.... well not easy at anyrate!

Yes I saw that and if I am not wrong, that firmware is not custom, is 2.2.1 and is the same I have on my tab.

ICS Repack Problems
Hi all,
I managed to flash ICS Repack by Chainfire on my galaxy note today. It is pretty cool and really fast. But I've few questions to ask regarding this new ROM. Please be kind enough to direct me to a appropriate thread if these questions are already been asked and solved.
After I flash ICS Repack, I cannot find CWM anymore. What happened to it ? and how I can get it back ?
How I can go back to my old GB rooted ROM (I've CW backup of that rooted LB2 GB ROM) ?
By now, this ICS version cannot render South Asian languages. but LB2 rendered it very well. Are there any option to get that language support on this ICS ?
I need to change this Keyboard (Chinese) to English. Any other method to change it (Instead of installing GO Keyboard) ?
In our county phone numbers have two formats (our numbers are start with "0" but receiving calls don't have that starting "0" ). But in this ICS ROM, those 2 numbers are Identifying as two different numbers. Any method to fix that issue ?
Can I get my CPU speed to 1.4GHz again ?

Stick with GB for now...people working with ICS around here like to make you jump through hoops just to get your phone to work...so if you're not will to spend the time on it, then stick with GB...no fuss, no muss.

I tend to update it officially but custom roms are fine, too. I'm afraid for the camera and other hardwares may become unusable. Thats why I'm afraid to flash a custom rom. But does anybody know the perfect roms for galaxy ace, please tell me. I really need it. Thanks for any answer tht can help me out...

My advice to u is read and read and read a lot
flashing official and custom rom is easy as pie but ... u have to know what u are doing

its a real help guide to all u need to know about our phone
anyways ... first use a software named odin to upgrade your phone to gingerbread ... its easy to use and some say even safer than official upgrade from kies
than flash that rom from a custom recovery!
you will have not hardware malfunctions

but until then ...

LEWA ROM suggestion
First advice as already given read a lot.. ..as informed first upgrade to ginger bread and then get a custom ROM for your phone.. I use LEWA ROM one of the best and stable..It has also got official support and every friday there is an update with improved features and bugs....
Dont be scared just be confident... on XDA we all are here to help!!!

there is no such thing.
And why don't you try it for yourself? you will get to experience it first hand. And if your scared then don't use odin or cwm or even rooting because there are always risks involved in these.

The SGSII v8.1 patch u r talking about is jst a patch for the COmplete v8 ROM. it has recently been updated to v9 and it really is a gud ROM the Battery life is also better in the LAtest Release and it is almost stock based so u won't find A WHOLE LOT of UI changes on your ACe jst additions, and the PErformance is also gud.
other than this, you can try the MIracle ROM it is also a wonderful ROM bt as it is performance based, u can't expect a battery life of 1 day
As you roam around the forums you will learn slowly by trying and testing stuff.
Ohh and ACTUALLY, there is NO perfect ROM

Also i have rooted my phone but i still have the stock kernal.
so how do i go about flashing the new rom?

You obviously haven't searched hard enough, there are a number of great stable roms now, as well as guides and tutorials on how to flash...search and look again

That's true, there's some custom rom available for your phone model include BenzRom of course. Just go to development section, you'll found them.

Be careful, your phone model is I8190N. Check again if the custom rom is for your phone model.

I tested it and it is great, it is for your phone which you can even see in the quote you posted.

Hi, my N6 just arrived, and was wondering wich rom is stable with android 6... Is there an update of the original rom with this version included?
I've seen here some are flashing cataclysm with a custom kernel to their N6's. Is this a bug free (mostly camera wise) rom...

all n6 roms are stable. about cataclysm, i have no idea, since ive never used. but what ill tell you is what most will tell you, you have to try it yourself to be able to form an opinion about it. as some will say its great, and others will tell you its terrible.
