I'm not sure if this allowed or the proper way to do this. But two ROMs are available for our tablets. Tesla which I used for some time is pretty stable. I just tested Tipsy and it works great.
Tipsy currently is finished with lp development and moving onto marshmallow. Current build is titled Final Hangover and is lollipop. Its working pretty well
https://plus.google.com/+AdamOvadia1/posts/VFNpokuFuA2
Tesla is an older build. Stable as hell. Hasn't been updated since September 22nd but it was my daily driver for a few weeks.
https://plus.google.com/+AdamOvadia1/posts/7jqTTiLY7bL
Enjoy them both! Don't forget to thank devs and the maintainer Adam!
Haven't tried Tesla yet because I flashed Tipsy and it is pretty awesome!

Ive used Tesla and Tipsy for a long time. Both run smooth with minimal errors. They are stable. Sadly I think LP is the only thing these tablets will see. I don't think they have enough memory to run M.

I'm gonna disagree about these little suckers running 6.0. Its not a gigantic leap from lollipop. I think it's more than capable. Hell, I'm running lp on a device that was last officially supported on jellybean.
How do you overcome the low memory. I'm running Tipsy and show about 868 MB of memory, according to the built in task manager. I know sometimes when I play mobile games or any high memory app, significant or foxit. I use these for filling out PDF work orders and capture signatures. I'm not sure if there is an aftermarket kernel for the V410. As for Marshmallow, we shall see if someone builds it, maybe CM team or Candy6. Not many choices for this device.

Yeah some screenshots and more info about the features of these roms would be nice

LG G Pad V410 LTE, Tipsy (LP 5.1.1), tethering is not working for me, on Wi-Fi tether device try to connect is not getting IP address, it shows 'obtaining IP address' for few seconds then drop the connection. For USB tether it, the toggle button does not work, cannot turn it on. Anyone using this ROM please share your experience.

I'll check with the maintainer to see if I he might know a solution. Seeing how development has moved on the marshmallow I don't know if you would be willing to update or not.

Thanks I tried Marshmallow (CM13) but Wi-Fi tethering is not working on that, switched back to rooted stock but that don't have SMS and USSD support, so tried this Tipsy.

Try it but don't blame me if you have issues.
I noticed GPS was conspicuously missing from the list of 'not working' stuff - could that mean...it does!! GPS is working!
I noticed a few quirks with this beautiful rom
First i saw that the peformance menu was missing from setting.
And this is soorta bad for me atleast (Top half of my digitizer doesent work) When pressing on the optical trackpad, it doesent select like it used to in cm10, i guess this is an easy fix
And the camera gets super glitchy only when its in landscape mode.
I'll keep looking, THIS ROM IS LE BEST
EDIT: Camera landscape works in Camera ICS

I can't get voicemail to change to my Google voice number on this rom. May be a bug, or I may need to clear phone data first. Never had to clear data before though.
Edit. Cleared app data and reinstalled Google voice. Still won't change from my carrier to google voice.

Note to self: Enabling 'simulate second display' in developer options is a Very Bad Idea.
Now I gotta get my phone bootable again...

Google voice is not something I've ever used and I can't be of much help as I don't have an active line on this phone. I don't really want to call verizon to temporarily swap back to this phone unless it's simple. This is one reason I'm longing for GSM.
Can you test this tomorrow after the first official evervolv nightly rolls out? I want to verify the issue on evervolv before trying to chase down an issue.
Also, can anyone else chime in on this?
I'll test it after the next nightly and let you know. Great work you do for us

Check the OP and post 2. It should answer your questions. The swipe feature (don't call it swype as that's proprietary and a different company) doesn't seem to be working properly with this ROM and gapps yet.
I actually use the Swype beta from their website. Seems to be perfect on this build I'm using, no lag now

According to this thread on Paranoid's forum it'll only come once CM has been ported to the 9305
Larrythecow has a working user build of cyanogenmod 10.1 with some major bugs but all 'round it's pretty good

Xposed Framework
While we wait in anticipation :fingers-crossed:
Did you know you can install the Xposed Framework and set per app DPIs? It's very nice, works well. Similar end result to Paranoid in terms of per app DPI.
Xposed installer, settings apk and tips
Xposed How-to and Xposed mods and more here
I have most apps at 240DPI using Xposed. Then some, like the Play Store and Gmail in Phablet mode: 213DPI with 800x1280 setting. Apps display same as Paranoid with DPI changes. Very cool
i'll be getting my new i9305 these days, but now, after browsing the 9305 forums, i'm kinda dissapointed about my decision
there's no working AOSP rom for this device and i don't know if i can't live without PA as my daily rom, probably i'll just give it to my wife and i'll keep using my 9300 until the devs strat working on this device
but then i guess that the new S4 will be out until then and i'll have to update again...

When Alpha CM works with calling we'll most likely see a stream of new custom roms.. a long but worthwhile wait. I'd love nothing more than to see CM, PA and PACman on the i9305.
All work being done on CM for this rom is well appreciated! There's no doubting that.

Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

I've already been grabbing the nightlies from the site but glad to see a thread posted on here finally. Thank you so much for making an official version for us. I cant wait until all the features have been added because this will most likely be my dd.
I've run several of the nightlies and flashed them with furnace kernel and it all ran smooth and stable.

Haha, sweet deal. I haven't found any bugs yet. Working my way down the settings menu. Going to install again with some gapps this time so I can test the reverse lookup, etc. I'm not sure about needing to flash root or not yet, as I couldn't install a root app due to lack of play store. I'll report back in a few minutes. Downloading the mini modular package from PA. ~85MB. Shouldn't be too long.

True, I just went with the first small package that came to mind. Okay so root does need to be flashed after the ROM and gapps.
So far I found 2 things.
1. Quick Setting tiles > style > transparency goes from a flat gray (normal) at 0%. Once you get it to 50% it will be come slightly transparent. 51-100% transparency will just make it turn flat black with no transparency. Not sure if it's meant to be like that but I can see through them on other ROMs. Not a big deal though.
2. I'll try again with slim gapps, but I can't use nearby places lookup. Doesn't work even after toggling in settings. But that might be a gapps issue so I'll check and see.
This ROM is quick. I like it a lot. So that's the only issues I noticed so far, everything else was working good. Well polished for the first release on this device. Honestly I don't think it even needs an Alpha/Beta tag. No reboots no SoD. Feels like its ready for primetime. all in all it would take more time to list what isn't working rather than what is which is what I did. No force closes, etc. Ready for a daily driver. I'm going to stick with it.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Edit: would you ever consider SuperSU over SuperUser? I know some don't like it because it isn't open source (last I heard) but it doesn't give me problems with some apps like superuser.

Nope. I had a Droid X2 that I rooted, then a Samsung Stratosphere (for like 2 weeks only) then I got a toro galaxy nexus on Verizon. That's why I asked if you had one of those. Your name is familiar too. I know that I know you from somewhere lol I just can't put my finger on it.

Update: I couldn't use nearby places lookup on PA gapps. Also couldn't connect to camera on PA gapps. Was about to send a logcat when I decided to try slim AIO package. Both issues gone.
Only use slim Google apps package on this ROM. Can't find a bug yet

Hello, i am posting today in hopes of finding fellow developers working on the desire 510, i have a full device tree and can build CM11 without error. My issue so far is in the ramdisk i believe, I get as far as the boot animation but, there is no adb and it wont pass the boot ani. If someone would like to help on this project please message me or add me on skype Shinru2004. I am very close to a booting Cm11 and hope to have a booting port in the next week or so.
I'm really not a dev but I have a working understanding of how android works and runs and if there's anything I can do to help I'll be more then glad to sorry for taking up space with this post

I'll help out. I'm going to add you on Skype, my name is different but not appropriate for posting on XDA. If you send me a build that'd be awesome

//Constructor?
}
Aka, I would love to understand more of the android base, but no experience with JNI nor C. I have a dual core pc running Windows(ew, I know...). When I make a lot of money, then I will start my c learning. Happy developing my friends.

Can you try Chainfire's Boot log animation to see where it hangs at? http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/liveboot-t2976189
It's on XDA News so you've probably seen it. It's basically DMESG and Logcat veiwer.

I got it booted, only issues are no wifi, no speakerphone, and no camera. Everything else works including calls.

Dude no way! Man this phone's lifespan has only just begun! So excited for these next few months to see what this phone becomes.. really hanging out on the 64-bit recovery, but we will get there
i aint the smartest, but ill be picking this up from cricket in the next couple days(tommorrow i hope) cause my moto g sim reader broke lol,ive done some kernel work for a few devices so if you want a lil help with anything gimme a shout :good:
i fixed the audio, all audio is now working. moving on to wifi before i worry about the camera. Hoping i can figure the wifi out soon. I can post a working rom a little later so you guys have a preview of whats to come. Keep in mind it is still a work in progress, and for right now will only work on the cricket branded devices. (GSM) but, i will be making a unified device tree so that all US variants are supported.

Sounds wonderful! I can't wait to test that baby out. Take your time. I haven't used CM in a while and with this phone it will be unstoppable.

I ported the CM kernel completely. Gonna make an official pull request to the CM github. It still uses stock dtb. CDMA radios work out of the box and I'm also working on WiFi for the ported kernel

Great job guys. Both of you.
Great work guys
Thanks to @rbheromax for his MSM8974 kernel port to our device. Not only do we have the most up to date kernel for the Snapdragon 400 chipset but, we also have working wifi. Now I just have to fix the camera but i think we have enough to be able to make an initial release.
ok made the release thread, Download is in the Downloads tab at the top of the OP
