Hi my galaxy s3 ( VE gt-l8200 ) wont turn on its just vibrating all that happened after trying to get back old recovery it wont go to recovery mode ( just vibrating one time ) and when trying download mode it vibrates and show download mode screen for 1 sec and then goes off please help me !

first of all - Check what button combination is required to put the p1000 into download mode, chances are if you flashed this firmware you changed the 3 button combo.
secondly if the above method dont work - try the USB jig, these can be made / bought for less than £10 and is a life saving tool.
mind you, the JIG will only work if your phone shows signs of life - example - vibrations, keys lighting up, charging indicator when plugged in.

If ur phone cant go into download mode then u r ****ED/Brinked otherwise vol down along with home button and power that will get u into download mode and from there ODIN is ur best friend.
i every one my galaxy just freeze when i turn it on the screen just stay in galaxy s gt--i9000 samsung. tried to get it in download mode but won´t enter .recovery mode i do aply update and the sreen turns white . then backs on reboot mode! can anybody help me?

What I found works is taking the battery out and then Pressing the Volume Down button + the Power Button + the Home button and entering Download Mode and you need to have odin to restore the phone. Google restore Samsung Galaxy S.

Hi , can you give a little more information....were you flashing a new rom? and i think you say that you can get into recovery but not download is that correct?
yes i can put in recovery, but every action i do it puts the screen white, and goes back into recovery mode!
Ok , in your first post you say you apply update in recovery...if it is a new rom you are installing you need to select - install zip option ,then scroll to the zip file you downloaded to the phone .

It sounds like you will have to purchase (or make) a usb jig to force your phone into download mode they are only £3 on ebay , something must have gone wrong with cwm..once you have the jig you will be able to install a stock samsung rom to save your phone.....Or you could install google sdk on your computer and see if you can abd into the phone.
please help...have problem with turning my phone on...it turns on then just shut down,sometimes it stays turned on,but in most cases(99%) start,show white galaxy mini gt-s5570i logo then shut down again,it's not boot loop just turn off...i get it to download mode but it's doing the same thing,enter in dowload mode and turn off after few seconds,same thing is in recovery mode..please help...thx ...sorry for my english,

plus to make it clear flash a four package firmware through odin

i will try with another battery i noticed that phone shut's down when go to idle,when i lockt it or screen time out.i don't know if i will be able to use odin becouse if the phone will need to restart and probobly will again just shut down...only if i have luck to make it stay at download mode,becouse he enter in download mode and then just shut down...only one time i enter in download mode and he stay in it...but have not odin installed on computer and i exit from it...

i tryed another battery but same thing happend...show galaxy mini gt-s5570i white logo and shut down,enter in recovery for few sec and shut down,enter download mode and shut down...sometimes stay at download mode or recovery and even start normally from recovery when restart it but when pres power button he dies and the game begin all over again... more ideas??? thx

After upgrad my mum's Galaxy Note ( from HK ) to Android 4.1.2, the screen can't turn on!!
After I press the power button to turn it on, the GT-N7000 logo will show for a while and than the screen just wnt all dark and nothing

How did you upgrade, odin, OTA, kies?
You can go into download mode.
So: Download a stock Rom (the JB release for Hongkong) and install it with PC Odin.
If you have errors in Odin tell us.
Or maybe everything is ok and after that your mum has a working device and a lovely sun again.

the problem is the device is keeps rebooting (first turned on shows samsung logo, then endless vibrate only) and i cant go to recoverymode with buttons or adb and download mode (i can do it actually but only few seconds it restarts again). googling isn't helpful.
the device wont turned off, when i pulled the battery and put it on, it will turned on itself (like BlackBerry)
the device is not even modded or rooted. everything's still stock.
haven't try USB JIG or JTAG. Maybe both of those will be my last option (since they're cost some money)
so can you guys help me out? thanks before :fingers-crossed:

Download STOCK ROM from official Samsung website, enter Download Mode and install it by Odin - try to do it in these few seconds when Download Mode is turned on.

your power button is partially working, you need to replace it. The inside one, not the outer plastic button
