I've been using the AOSP rom for several months. It is lite, quick, and quite stable ... it's my favorite.

Liquid smooth or mokee... Is nice roms with a lot Of staff for custom setings
I think all of the ROMs here are pretty stable and smooth. Choose based on the features you like.

I'm flashing rom for the first time I have unlocked the bootloader my device is rooted.
I have been reading posts
RR seems the most stable with oos cam included and it doesn't have pocket mode which can lead to faster battery drain.
So can you guys suggest me any rom which is as stable as oos and good camera quality (not working of camera, quality of the picture processed)
May this thread helps others too :fingers-crossed:
Thanks
Nothing has camera as good as stock, so if camera is important to you, stick with stock based ROMs (official OOS, FreedomOS, OP3Lite ...)
That port that is available for RR still has some issues.
Maybe try Paranoid Android, it may have some magic that other ROMs don't due to developers involved. It's supposed to have camera on pair with OOS, but I haven't tried it yet so I can't confirm (and for some reason people don't really talk much about PA). It has all other features of OOS.
But I'd suggest sticking with OOS based ROMs until OnePlus releases camera sources.

If the camera is a non issue than Slim Roms is the best. Fast not cluttered with useless features. But honestly OnePlus has it down with 3.2.7. had my doubts but the have created a ROM that is up there with P.A and Slim.
For me nucleaRom is the best and bug free ROM and you will have the OOS camera

I think the developer has stopped the development for this rom
Resurrection Remix Black Jubel is very stable in my opinion......and it has tons of customization and Accepts the OOS Camera Port so you can get identical Camera quality to stock.

I'm using FreedomOS with blu_spark kernel at the moment, but I'll probably try Paranoid over coming weekend.
To be honest, OOS is actually a pretty good ROM. With Xposed framework it has everything I need.

Hmm...yes 3.2.7 is nice but you can't really compare it to custom ROMs. It's great for its intended purpose (stability and compatibility) but it doesn't have the customization that custom ROMs have...obviously. It depends on what is most important to you.
I'm using OOS 3.2.6 with latest blu spark kernel and I'm getting really good screen on times, like 10-15℅ drain per hour. I also have Xposed installed but I'm only using greenify with it. Imho OOS is just as good as any other ROM, and I have just about tried every other ROM and kernel combination with the exception of the new nougat releases. There are only a few extra options available in the custom ROMs in comparison to OOS and they are mostly cosmetic. I reckon wait till some stable nougat builds have been released and then we might see some improvements. There is also no need to even install freedomOS or OSlite because you can debloat the ROM yourself and learn something while you are at it. Just go to the OSlite page and check the debloat list and then remove the stuff yourself with Titanium Backup. For me it's more fun when I have tweaked the ROM myself, and I guess for others also otherwise we wouldn't even have so many custom ROMs. I have researched the living bejesus out of this phone and I am happy to share my accumulated knowledge with anyone that needs help.
Hi all,
Is there any custom ROM with pocket mode.? I have tried cm13 and RR, but no pocket mode

Paranoid rom has pocket mode I guess..
I haven't tried the rom but I have seen a tutorial on YouTube
I suggest you try h2os v2.0 5th edition. It has the best battery life, even better than pa rom. I still have 93% of battery after browsing the web using wifi for more than 1 hour. It is very smooth as well during gaming, no lags at all.

Ive tried the stock rom, RR and have been using havoc for the last 3 months. Honestly i miss the stock rom but at the same time i want customizations and just knowing that im using a custom rom makes me feel good. The custom roms ive used dont have fully functioning cameras, and the main thing is that theyre just not completely stable. They arent as smooth as stock. So can someone please suggest me the most stable custom rom for mi a2 that has been tested and tried.
Tldr: whats the most stable custom rom for mi a2
For me it's havoc, the best custom rom. The more stable is the stock rom (best network speed, no problem with SMS, OTA is ok, camera no bugs....).

Wifi range is really low, portrait mode doesn't work, and other things. Why isnt my havoc that stable?

Wifi is ok for me. Havoc is for me the most stable rom but it's not perfect. For this reason, I returned to stock, I prefer a stable rom with less customisation than more customisation in a rom with little bugs. I found the custom rom on my old phone (Honor 5X) are more stable and performant than on Mi A2.
Hello all.
I just received my mi9 and I don't like at all this stock MIUI rom.
First thing, where can I see if I have the EEA, or global ROM ?
And secondly, after unlocking my device and flashing twrp, what rom could be the best ? Maybe xiaomi.eu, revolutionOS, flokoRom ?
No AOSP based ROM at the moment ( I would love to flash an AOSP based ROM , like my good old One plus 3 )
And battery life is just horrible in stock ROM..

Just a quick question? Which stock rom you are you on? MIUI have several versions of stock just in a few months.....

You could try GSI roms, but they are not stable enough for me right now.
Im now on ROS. With magisk and lawnchair it's running great and feels a lil bit like aosp. Better than stock

You should read the FAQ and forum before asking such questions, as a senior member you should know that
Anyways, unlocking usually requires a 15 day waiting / grace-period, so I'd start doing that now and you'll have another two weeks to read all the ROM/flash/root topics here.
Hi, guys.
I would like to change my Mi 9t pro from MIUI 11 to any custom ROM, because I'm looking for a ROM that gives me a better SOT and performance than stock MIUI 11.
What's the best stable ROM that I can find?
Ps: How can I keep the MIUI stock camera app in any custom ROM, or if it's included in some ROM (with no bugs, if it's possible), Wich ROM would you recommend me?
Thank you all.

I've been using EvoX for quite some time, have been enjoying it. It covers all the concerns that you've mentioned.

-MIUI will give you the best SOT. It has more aggressive battery optimizations.
-I can vouch for EvoX. There have been regular updates, it has the most user-friendly features, but the developer has taken a leave yesterday so the development in the next month or so maybe a little slow. Other option is Lineage.. It also has similar development.
-No rom will be as stable as MIUI. Fingerprint will be slightly slower on the roms.
-There will be minor bugs.
-For the MIUI camera, you can flash ANX Camera.
Hope i helped!
Asoip and extended ui rom are very smooth roms which i could recommend and are regularly updated. Also in Asoip rom it has the option of FP unlock with the screen off which is only in this rom i believe.
Unofficial Havoc 3.2 is the best AOSP 10 ROM I've used so far.
Install ANX Cam for stock camera experience on custom ROMs
TOP AOSP (popular): EvoX, derpfest, aosip.
TOP MIUI (popular): EU-LS, masik, miroom.

For best SOT , Miui is great.
There is a Flashable zip for stock camera in the Official Channel on Telegram.
And yes, some roms has fast fingerprint speed but some are slow as written in the comment above.
I like miui for its features, and its obviously most stable.
If you want customization with MIUI then use MIUIPro or MiGlobal Roms they have same performance with more features and customizations.

I love Evolution X Rom too but on my Redmi K20Pro, there is a Video playback issue where you play a video and it freezes for a couple of seconds frequently. Did you happen to experience this?
Hi guys,
Please suggest the Custom Rom that you like the most, based on MIUI/Xiaomi.eu ...
With OTA update enabled, better battery life, smooth performance...
Currently, I am using Xiaomi.eu Beta Rom. But Beta for Mi 9 has been shut down. That is why searching for a good Rom to switch.
Thanks in Advance...
