I have an Android TVBOX (RKM MK80).
According to the specs it is DLNA and Miracast compatible.
If iI use the BubbleUpPnp i can see the BOX and mirror my screen on the TV (this uses DLNA), right?
If i use the multiscreen option I dont see anything.
Which protocol is using the P7-Multiscreen?
Do I need a Miracast App to use the Miracast mirroring?
What is faster DLNA or Miracast?
Thanks

Most of new smartphones have a Hdmi output, MHL conector or DLNA TV link, but we have in our Optimus Black WiFi Direct.I have found inretesting video which confrims that steaming to HMDI via WiFi Direct is possible. So we can see the same in TV sceen and in our display.

Maybe there is also another posiblities to steam via Wifi. Please tell me yours opinions.
Personally I have HTPC running Openelec. Using i.e. BubbleUPNP it is easy to stream to phone or back to the HTPC ( both ways ) . There are many Android apps capable to communicate with Openelec or XBMC based machine.
Cheapest and fun way to accoplish that task is to use Raspberry Pi as DLNA server.
I had no possibility to check but any DLNA capable TV should work with propper android app installed on P970.
I found application MirrorOp. So can stream my screen view to computer. But via wifi is slow down.

Hello,
Here a little guide to stream Skype on TV with Chromecast.
With Chromecast + Android,
we can make video call on TV with Skype.
The idea is to cast screen from Android to Chromecast / TV, then run Skype.
Cast screen and mirroring is the same.
Required :
- TV + Chromecast
- Android 4.4
- Chromecast app
- Skype (official version or fixed version here)
- MirrorEnabler here need ROOT if your device is not officially supported to Cast Screen with Chromecast
If the last version of Skype don’t work on your device, then install this fixed version : here.
MirrorEnabler enable mirroring from any device. Mirroring (cast screen) is the third functionality of Chromecast, which allow to duplicate your Android screen in real time to TV.
- Install Skype (I recommend the fixed version above).
- Install Chromecast on TV.
- Install MirrorEnabler (only if your device is not officially supported to Cast Screen). Enable its functions, reboot.
- Cast screen to Chromecast / TV from Chromecast app.
- Run Skype.
- Voilà !
May I be the first to say Thanks Dude ???
Has anyone successfully gotten the audio to stream through the TV as well?

Thanks in advance
Wow nice, actually i'm using my chromecast with popcorntime... Will give a shoot to this, but it's the audio working or not?
I havent tried skype but everything else I've tried has the audio go through the tv, my device is officially supported if that makes a difference.

Mirroring any android devices to Apple TV, Chromecast and PC.
YouMap is a one stop tool to meet all your needs for Android screens. It can take screenshots. It can record screen and audio to movies. It works from the old Android 2.3 to the latest Android L 5.0 versions.
YouMap performs real-time audio and video recording and streaming.
YouMap can mirror screens (including audio) of Android phones or tablets to large displays (TV, PC or Browsers), using VNC, AirPlay and Chromecast protocols. It can stream screen and audio in HD quality at real time speed. This way, you can watch any movies, perform presentations, or project any apps from Android devices to Apple TV, Chromecast, or Raspberry Pi devices (our free rPlay receiver software is required on Raspberry Pi devices).
YouMap also supports audio only mode, that you can stream any audios from android devices to your speakers via Apple AirPort or Google Chromecast devices. YouMap supports system audio as well as Microphone audio.
This app works on rooted and non-rooted android devices. However, for non-rooted devices, every time after turning the device completely off and on, you will have to connect your device to a Windows PC or Mac using a USB cable, then run a free desktop program, VMLite Android App Controller, to start the server on your device. Once the server is started, you can disconnect your device.
Rooted devices, such as those running Cyanogenmod Android, work right out of box by simply clicking the Start button on our App.
You can download our desktop program using this link:
http://www.vmlite.com/vaac/
If you can't start the server on your device, e.g., S3, Nexus 7/10, try to change to Camera Device(PTP), instead of Media Device(MTP).
FEATURES:
- no need to root your android devices
- supports WIFI and USB connections.
- works on API level 10 and above, including Gingerbread, ICS and Jelly Beans, up to Android 5.0.

Hi,
I'm really new to raspi, I saw many ports for Android.
I was just wondering if it's technically possible to have a miracast implementation using the inbuilt wifi?
I saw one for pi2 but with an external dongle
Just wondering thanx in advance

I use albfan miraclecast on ubuntu mate
It works with built in bcm43430 wifi dongle
Raspbian not work because systemd version too old
Use someone KODI, openelec , librelec, and If you have not enabled it yet, go to System - Settings - Services - Airplay and check "Allow XBMC to receive AirPlay conent" (without password protection).
