Installation aborted while flashing .zip~ with Xposed - Xposed General

Hello,
Im pretty new to this kind of stuff. So forgive me. I've Nexus 4 device, and got tired of mobile radio active bug.
Android verions 5.1.1
Looked everywhere for the fix and cried on gogole bug report page.
Now i found information about this xposed module, and mobile radio active fix on this forum.
Ive rooted my device. (confirmed with root checker app)
I had custom recovery: clockworkmod recovery v6.0.4.7 (later switched to openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.2-mako to test and stayed on it )
From this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
i have installed XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
App requires (red text) to flash the package, so i am putting this .zip (xposed-v75-sdk22-x86.zip) on my device and trying to flash it through recovery.
chosing it, process starts, and ill write you everything it says
(that is clockworkmod recovery log)

tried many times, redownloading the file, renaming it to a.zip
same message every time.
I have also switched to
openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.2-mako
Tried to flash it using this.
Also error:

Comment below box "FAILED" (red color)

reflashed and getting same error
Am i doing something wrong? Ive no idea what to do, whats the problem. Or maybe some of you had same issue and figured out how to deal with it?
Any answer appreciated.
Thank you.

Out of topic question:
Does Cyanogenmod have this mobile radio active fixed? I'd just switch to it if theres no way installing xposed on my nexus 4 with stock adroid)

The Nexus 4 has an ARM processor, and you're trying to flash the zip for an x86 processor. The flash is failing in order to stop you from putting the wrong software on there.
Try again with the xposed-v75-sdk22-arm.zip file. This was explained repeatedly in the first two posts of the official discussion thread.

I can see now where i've done it wrong after re-reading that post knowing what you just told me.
Must've been some weird article about nexus 4 and its processor that led me to think my processor is 32bit and i thought its ok to use x86 file even tho it says ARM everywhere. And trusted it more over the chart in the main discussion topic.
Everything comes down to my lack of knowledge.
Thank you for your patience and help.
flashed ARM file and it worked perfectly
Topic to be closed.
Thanks again!

[Q] LG G3/ arm v7a not compatible with xposed??

hello,
I once installed xposed on LG G3 via recovery before the updated version.
it was working, but only when i changed to permissive.
now with the updated xposed, when i try to install from the app itsef it says my phone not compatible.
"Xposed is not (yet) compatible with android SDK version 21 or your preccessor architecture (armeabi - v7a)
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: could not load library "libdvm.so" needed by "/data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/chache/app_proccess"; caused by library "libdvm.so" not found"
i saw other writing about their d855.. it means the problem is on my phone?
anybody had this issue too?
also i cant remove xposed, says it cant find a backup.
thanks !
I am by no means an expert so the following is only related from my experience,no warranty is implied or given, but this was the first rom I have flashed etc and I only did it last night
Once I put lollipop on to my phone as per this post xposed would not install via the app itself after reading the various threads I found this
[OFFICIAL] Xposed for Lollipop followed the instructions and xposed was installed.
Not sure if I went wrong somewhere but this threw up an issue with lgquickcover not working , some more reading found this booted to recovery using the power/volume key method and flashed the zip from here and the issue was resolved
I think it is worth mentioning xposed is only at alpha at the moment and as such some modules ( in particular g3tweaks I miss it ) do not work
working here. (lg g3, d855, blisspop v2.1 with selinux status already set to permissive)
xposed should say
Xposed on LG G3 D855 - error armeabi and libdvm.so - update ?
hi there,
any update regard this ?
I'm able to install / uninstall the "Xposed install" app but, cant get it install/update due to those errors:
Xposed is not (yet) compatible with android SDK version 21 or your preccessor architecture (armeabi - v7a)
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: could not load library "libdvm.so" needed by "/data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/chache/app_proccess"; caused by library "libdvm.so" not found"
a[[_process - 58
xposedbridge.jar - 54
Phone is root
Android 5.0
core 3.4.0
V20h-ISR-XX
is there a workaround or something ?
i had similar problems on my g3 (d855) on lollipop, then i tried this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/tool-installer-xposedlg-g3unofficial-t3094514
and problem solved. good luck !!!
tnx, working process... still have some problems
when pressing install I'm getting a black screen and an error
"Parse error, failed to mount sd card (unknown error 150) and failed to map file. installation aborted."
attached picture
when rebooting system, I have the xposed app installed but not working, asking for restart, but noting happen after soft or hard rest.

as i can see in the picture you are using CWM. I did it with TWRP. you can try....
hi @ludstr and @rhystagram
i found another solution. you need to install xposed for lollipop 5.1 instead of xposed 5.0. here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979
Hi , I once flashed xposed in my g3/D855 stock rom and get cover error so I renamed lgcover.apk in twrp recovery and problem solved , now I changed my rom into cm12.1 and NOT instaled xposed , is there any way that I can make my smart cover work again ? if not would restoring to stock rom make the cover work again or ... ?

As I can see you don't have a custom recovery, like TWRP, first you need to do is root "if your phone is rooted then skip this" then download an app called "Flashify" then go to this thread and download the latest TWRP and make sure it is unziped, http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/orig-development/recovery-twrp-touch-recovery-2-8-2-0-t2966129
then open Flashify, Grant for root access, then select flash recovery and then select the recovery boot.img file and flash it after that you should be OK.
then try and flash the xposed framework zip and you should be good to go
hope this helped you
PS see this before flashing xposed

Cyanogen 12.1 flash issue on Moto X 2013

I've been trying to install cyanogen 12.1 on my Moto X 2013.
Followed all the steps mentioned in the official Cyanogen Mod Wiki (Allowed to include the link only after 10 posts)
Flew through the steps however, the final flash of ROM fails.
Here are the logs.

Looking at the bold face logs, my hunch is the TWRP isn't able to recognize my device's model XT1052.
Is this what's happening here? If no, what seems to be going wrong?
How do I fix this?

Which version of TWRP are you using? Try 3.x, some of the older ones aren't working correctly.
Or alternatively, edit the "updater_script" in the ROM zip (META-INF/com/google/android), and delete the first line, starting with "assert(getprop.."

Been using twrp-2.8.7.0-ghost
twep 3.x.x isn't released for Moto X 2013 (Ghost) yet. I tried using twrp-3.0.0.0-victaria built for Moto X 2014(Victaria), however, the phone never booted into recovery.
Also tried out removing the first line from the updater script which checks for models just as you suggested.
The flash still fails. This time with barely any logs
just says Error occurred while.. Fail
Double checked the versions(of everything) but it still isn't working.
I've had simular issue . download twrp 2.6.3.1 ... worked for me and many others

Didn't work out for me. Flash just fails without any useful logs
You've probably applied compression when you've changed the updste script. It should be Store only, try again, because the error you were getting is exactly from the get prop in the first line.

First i installed cm-12.1-20150901-SNAPSHOT-YOG4PAO237-ghost.zip then i flashed CM Recovery cm-12.1-20150901-SNAPSHOT-YOG4PAO237-ghost-recovery.img then i updated the CM by the CM Updater inside the settings and it worked great !!
Hi,
I had same issue.
My Moto X 2013 had still Android 4.4.2 as I rooded it.
Then I tried to flash CM12.1 with instuctions from wiki.cyanogenmod.org and failed with same error message as [email protected]
I tried several things mentioned here and from other forums but failed.
At least the hint from Polishpolisher was working. Many many thanks!
Found twrp-2.6.3.1-ghost-4.4.img at rootjunkysdl.com.
Herewith install of cm-12.1-20160127-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO3J1-ghost.zip was possible.
Had the same issue..
Here's what you do..
Extract the cm 12.1 file and file update script file in there ( look for it it's in there in Android or Google folder ) then delete the first line in the script " JUST THE FIRST LINE "
And voilà
Enjoy CM 12.1
I've had the same problem. The solution for me was to install the rom stock using the RSD. Then I installed the latest official version of TWRP and had no problems.

HEEEEELP.

I download this roms
-Resurrection Remix V.5.4.4
And also download this.
V.5.7 Remix -Resurrection
Download the gapps and did the normal procedure for installation.
what happens is that after attempting to install the ROM. I get this error.

Now my phone does not pass the logo of motorola

Did you perform a „factory reset” wipe? Changing ROMs kind of requires you to - a factory reset wipes the old sd-ext, and you still have it.
And are you sure you downloaded the right ROM? I can't access the RR site now, but they don't have ROMs for Thea.
What phone do you have, actually?

I have xt1045 4g
I've done all the procedures to install the rom .
but gave those mistakes.
try putting on a rom 5.1 stock xt1045 according to what I found here on xda but I do not install it .
the phone did not stay at the logo and not as most do.
Then you need to flash this ROM: CM Peregrine
Or this one: RR Peregrine
See the ROM's discussion thread here.

[Help wanted] To install Xposed Framework for Lenovo Tab 2 A10-30f

Hello,
I've spent my evening trying to install the xposed framework on my lenovo tablet 2 a10-30f but to no avail. I'm pretty sure I downloaded the correct zip (sdk22-arm, since it's a Cortex-A7 Processor/ARM 32 bit and the tablet is currently running 5.1.1). I've tried multiple ways of trying to install the framework (root is successful with kingroot) but it just won't work.
I've followed the guide for the a10-70 version, but on reboot (when flashify says it's supposed to be flashed) i always get the following error:
"E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed. Installation aborted."
(Yes i've tried googling it, and tried some other ways like loading the zip from other locations..)
Anyway, if anyone got any ideas, please feel free to reply.
Thank you in advance,
Pa1n

Error 255: can not install rom(s)

Hi Guys!
I've just started customising the phone after receiving it Friday.
I've unlocked the bootloader and installed twrp.
But now when I try to install a rom, I get error 255 and the installation is terminated immediately.
I found two mentions of this error:
- Unmount partitions in twrp
- make a change to a text file inside the roms zip file before installing it
I unmounted all partitions except sd card, did not work.
I looked inside the textfile in the zip but could not find the line mentiond in the post I found (it was for a different phone)
So now I'm stuck.
I do have the phone running the stock rom again and it may even be rooted (installing magisk worked) but have to check after putting the backup back.
Any thoughts?
I have tried two versions of aospExtended and cosmic
Edit:
Maybe the stuff is still encrypted?
What twrp are you using?
Ah, maybe there is some sort of answer immediately, thanks for the quick reply.
I took it from this page from check yourscreen:
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=889964283620777591
But now notice that ...9 is not the most recent.... I read 15 and 16 as 1.6
Will try again shortly.
Can I install the newer one through twrp or should I use fastboot?
EDIT: version 16 is working!
Thanks so much
