Easiest way to root and debloat T-mobile Note 4 - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello folks,
I have tried Kingroot to root my T-mobile Note 4, but not luck.
My objective is symple: make this phone faster as it has slow down quite a bit, and improve battery, since it has reduced quite a bit too.
I want to root, debloat, and improve battery... with a Mac/Apple computer !!!
Help please ? Suggestions, pointers ?
Thank you very much.
Cheers.
G.

I used the CF-Autoroot method from the General stickies.
Then use Titanium Backup to freeze all the unwanted apps.
Only thing I know that works on a Mac is Heimdall, but not sure if is still being updated & supported.

Thank you very much !
I should have wrote that I need help for Mac...
Thanks for the input. !

Help for Root Z1 .136

Hi!
I bought the Z1, and I do not regret it. Some bug screen, and other small stuff but good
I just talk to you because I am a beginner in android and I do not know what to do for my rooter device. So, I have already been able to untap the overlay of my operator. Now I am. 136 non-root and I realize that many things are accessible via root.
I would like, if you have time, kindness and patience, give me a little tutorial to be root in .136. While I've seen some stuff about that, but there was loss :/ IMEI and since jesuis beginner to android I'm afraid to do something stupid ...
So a little tutorial step by step, with a link to dwnld each time would be great!
I just ask for help ^ ^
Ps: sorry for my broken English.
Kisses! : D

Just make sure that you follow all of the steps. If anything goes wrong you can revive the phone by flashing an Ftf of the firmware.

There is software called Helium that does exactly what you are looking for:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup
I have not used it so make sure that it works for you before you begin the rooting process. Good luck

Thanks. Will try it out now and let you know.
Just need to backup important stuff so i can easily restore after rooting. I actually wanna unlock bl and install beanstalk . Twas the best rom i used on my xperia pro b4 it got stolen :crying:
Update:
I used Helium to backup my data and managed to restore everything back to rooted 4.3. It wouldn't restore my messaging and user dictionary data to beanstalk though (4.4) so went back to stock 4.3 with root. Thanks again for the help
Ps. I found this just now, it may help someone in future: www titaniumtrack com/kb/titanium-backup-kb/titanium-backup-howtos.html

Need help with terrible battery life. No root.

Hello everyone!
Firstly I apologise for starting another thread. But I have tried everything such as disabling most Samsung apps, keep brightness low and alot of other solutions people have suggested in other threads.
After upgrading to lollipop this the battery has become terrible. Attached is the screenshot. It's an unlocked note 5.
I don't want to root it so any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there a way to go back to lollipop without rooting? ( I'd prefer to avoid this route if i could)
Thank u in advance!

Make sure you search for the correct country you're in. A quick search shows
https://samsung-firmware.org/model/SM-N920C/
All you need to do is find the original firmware for Lollipop because you're on Marshmallow 6.0.1 now and Lollipop is 5.1.1

Should be just the same as in Oreo. Use Magisk for it. Search for the tutorial in the General Discussion thread.

Then I advise you not to root if you are not willing to put in the effort of researching beforehand. The last thing you need is a 200$ paperweight thought that is highly unlikely with this device.
The process of rooting itself is never that complicated, but it's aimed at the enthusiast who is willing to put the time into research and troubleshooting. If you lack the will, then this would be a major waste of time.

Hey bud , unfortunately if you have oreo u cannot update. There are many apps you can try yourself like kingroot. But there is not possivle way of rooting it unless u get into hacking your phone , then i recommend going by this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g6/help/starting-scratch-t3837452
Other than that i there is no way to root,at least not yet.

If you have an H872, then all you have to do is follow this. Read it several times to make sure you understand, and Google videos if needed to make sure you understand. @pena020563 gave you the answer you need, albeit in a cryptic manner - his link will eventually take you to the link I supplied above. And I don't know why he even mentioned Kingroot. The method I am linking you to is, as far as I know, the only way to root an H872. Don't bother with anything else.
Had you looked just a little harder, you know...scrolled down a quarter of the page, you would have found the link I gave you all on your own.
Good luck!

they claim support g6, but no one ever proof it. The last time kingroot is really useful is when Android Lollipop era after Marshmallow they don't have good exploits to install root in system. Many has been patched.

what's your problem with this xda guide? I think it's simple enough but you have to carefully understand what you have to do (just read carefully). If you don't want to leave windows you can use virtual machine (which I believe is more complicated to setup and need more PC resources).

You're the 3rd person to link to that guide. The OP is lazy.
