S3 -> S6 App Migration: Smart Switch AND Helium - How? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6

I'll be migrating from and S3 to an S6 in the next day, and I'm backing up my S3 with both Smart Switch and Helium (unrooted).
Since there's much - but not complete - overlap, in which order should I restore the backups to the new S6?
Should I be choosing "all apps" in Helium, or will some break or corrupt some default S6 apps? How do I choose?
Thank you!

Stock Samsung Apps required by Gear??

All:
Running stock rooted 4.3 on Galaxy S4. Generally I would debloat just about all the Samsung apps other than a few I actually use - - SMemo, Svoice, etc. Now, I'm not sure what I can delete without 'breaking' gear features. I don't use any of the Samsung media sharing stuff, but wonder if the Gear is using any of this in some way to communicate with my phone to control media player, etc.
Any hints or tips? Is there a developer resource that shows a list of dependencies for certain Gear functions?
Ideally, it would be great to create a de-bloat script with the Gear specifically in mind. I've done some simple scripting so I might be able to do this, but I've no idea how to go about finding what is safe to remove, and trial-and-error would take a hella long time.
Thoughts, suggestions?
I would also like to know the same thing when I get my gear for Christmas

[Q] Note 3 Safe To Freeze List

I have been looking, and while I have found lists for S4 and S5, I haven't found a Note 3 specific list of apps safe to freeze. I finally got tired of my phone having wakelock issues, and S Finder annoying me, so I finally rooted. First order of business is freezing all the bloat. If anyone knows of a good list, or if the S4 or S5 lists will work, I would much appreciate it

Check the development section. There is a debloat script that you can run to get rid of all the Samsung/AT&T bloatware. However, that requires you to have recovery. If you just want to freeze some apps that you don't need, you can use that debloat script as reference to manually freeze some apks.

Me, too! I just rooted mine and installed Titanium Backup Pro to freeze some of the applications that I KNOW are useless bloatware. My problem is; despite freezing them, when I reboot my phone, they come back like a bad case of the flu.
I need to stop the madness. My battery is dropping like a madman.
Uninstall them, that's what I did

Lost Samsung Phone Icon and Samsung Contacts app after security update Note 5

The December ATT security update USA for my Galaxy Note 5 wiped out my Samsung Phone Shortcut (app is still there in Settings, Apps, System Apps).
It also wiped out the entire Samsung Contacts app.
Two weeks with Samsung support no fixes including Factory reset.
Both apps are not in App Drawer nor in Disabled apps.
Is there a way (and I'm a total noob with APKs) to get the APKs for these?

Question Galaxy themes missing from Galaxy Tab A8 (2021)

Hello,
I have just unboxed my new Galaxy tab a8 and to my surprise there seems to be no themes support for this device!
Just to make this a bit clearer, the galaxy store app works as expected, I have logged into my account (of course) however when I go to the "my apps" section there are no themes available. On the contrary everything seems to be normal on my A52S phone so there's definitely nothing wrong with my account. Also when I browse the themes section only some fonts appear to be available.
Any thoughts?
Just bought this tab and noticed the same thing.
There is a system app 'Galaxy Themes Service' installed, which I haven't seen on my older Samsung devices.
Theme Park works, but #Hex does not
Anyone been able to get the Theme Store to work?
I was able to sideload Theme Park and use it to theme my A8 ! It didn't show up in Galaxy Store for me!
