Hi!
I have a dual boot teclast x98 c5j6. I had problems with battery, so I tried to install android 4.4.4. During the flash I think I selected to delete partitions, and know, when I power on the tablet, in the dual boot menu I can only see android logo, and not both logos like before. How can I solve it?
thanks!!
I have the same problem. I've choosed the wrong xml file during the flash...

Then i flashed Mirek Lolipop v6 but it is only android logo on dual boot. When i use "boot to Windows" under android it shows error like below:

Use the OTG USB installation method mentioned by some fellas in the official Teclast X98 forum.
Format a FAT32 thumbdrive.
Copy the 5 *.img files, installer.cmd and partition.tbl to the root of the thumbdrive.
(Ensure u got the right installer.cmd and partition table setting files, view it to confirm).
Connect the OTG cable along with the plugged-in thumbdrive.
Bring the Tablet to Droidboot Recovery Mode (The one with a Big Green Android if original recovery image).
It will automatically start recovery and reboot.
hello kevinlaikf,
thank you for your suggestions, but didnt work. the menu still shows "entering nx mode. waiting for fastboot command". thats it. i copied all the files you mention.
cheers

Hi
I have X98 air III m5c6
At first, windows only occasionally get stuck.
And now I can not get through the main screen "please wait..."
I downloaded the windows 10 home installation to usb (Rufus 2.5)
But even that the bios identifies the USB and even that I became all the boot routes except the USB to "disable".
It still Restart like usual to the dual boot screen to choice between Android or my destroyed windows.
How do I make my device boot from USB?
My USB 3.0 64GB.

Make sure you have the 32bit ISO Image for Windows and use those setting to write the ISO with RUFUS and it will work.

partition problem
What ever i do i get this error massege:
"windows detected that the efi system partition was formatted as ntfs. Format the EFI system partition as FAT32, and restart the installation."
what can I do?
what I do wrong?
Hi, I never tested by me but as I said to an user, I think the best way is to:
1) Flash Android (Intel MFT Tool) with repartition (so I will erase all windows partition as unused space
2) Install Win x86 (with Rufus) on the unused space
This easy guide works to some users I told them...Try!
PS: tablet with full charge please!
I tried to write the usb key with rufus in fat32 but it says the iso is more that 4 GB and cant write on FAT system file.

What have you done? What guide do you follow?
Windows 10 drivers are available here.
I accidentally deleted the boot options from the bios. Now, whenever I boot, It shows "No internal hard disk found..." error. I am attaching the screenshots as well. Please help me to install windows 8.1 again.
Actually I was trying to do a fresh install of Android. So, I formatted the eMMC partition and accidently deleted the boot entry in the BIOS that was linked to the eMMC with name ACPI(0)...something. So, I just want to fresh install Windows 8.1 again in the tablet.

Some time ago i saw a video about that.... It connected a keyboard, then pressed F8 i guess, enetered bios and select boot. But if you deleted windows boot loader (since windows 8) , that is UEFI, you have to reinstall it

I think that if you install windows the bootloader will be also created, in your case restored as default boot setting.
Try to do a google search or contact manufacturer for more information about how to reinstall windows.

No its actually the Boot entry deleted from BIOS and all tablets don't have generic HDD partitions like the PCs. They just emulate eMMC card partition as Hard Disk Partitions. So whatever I install, it shows "No internal hard disk..." error. Also, I have diagnosed the eMMC, RAM, and other components through the BIOS Diagnostics. Everything is fine.

here is the solution that it may work for you. just try it from bios with add boot option menu as shown in your screenshot. Navigate and select EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BOOTMGFW.EFI

Solved: This thread may be deleted, sry for bothering you.
I wasnt aware of how to get into fastboot from the stock recovery: Turn off device (Hold down VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN and POWER at the same time for a few seconds), remove SD card (in case there's a ZIP that will get auto executed) and boot into bootloader (VOLUME DOWN and POWER for a few seconds).
Old post:
Hello Community!
I'm stuck on the stock recovery with neither fastboot nor adb recognising my device and flashing from SD card giving me "check cid failed, Invalid operation".
How did it come to this:
Tried out Costum ROMs (Linage & Carbon),
restored old backup with TWRP
thought I'd wanna see the stock ROM,
flashed boot image and stock recovery according to this guide
thought it would be a good idea to reboot
regret the last part cause stuck on recovery.
What does it look like atm:
When I turn on the phone, it will stay in the booting screen for some time (white background, "HTC powered by android"), go black, go booting screen again and then go stock recovery (black background, red rectangle with exclamation mark inside)
So I hold VOLUME UP and press POWER, which gets me here:

}
Tried them all, check cid failed, invalid operation.
When connecting to PC, Windows gives me the devices recognition sound, but adb and fastboot act as if no connection:
What else did I try:
Uninstalled HTC drivers, reboot, install HTC sync manager, uninstall sync manager but leave drivers.
tried different ports and cables as well as SD cards
I don't get why it won't flash from SD card. I tried with different TWRPs in zip, rar and img format, named them 0P8BIMG.* and 0P6BIMG.*
When there's no SD card inside it gives me an error, so it does recognize the SD card.
Last but not least about the bootloader: I locked and unlocked the bootloader shortly before this all happened, so I guess the bootloader is unlocked. However after all I'm merely a noob in all of this, so what do I know.
Any unbricking suggestions?
Hello, I am a owner of a ZUK Z2 Pro from Brazil, apologies for my english.
I tried to update the mooke rom to pie, but it wasn't working via central mooke, so I downloaded and tried to flash on TWRP, but I was possesed by a demon and instead of not deleting the internal storage, I delete all files. The problem now is that the mobile isn't reconigze in the computer and the device manager shows this:

}
The USBView show this:
Maybe it's something related to the vendor folder that can't be mount on TRWP. I tried adb push, but don't display my device and I don't have acess to allow the usb debugging. I tried USB OTG, but the pendrive is unrecognized. I don't know what to do anymore, but I don't think the mobile is bricked. May day may day!
In twrp you have to click mount otg to make it visible in the file system (if you already did this you can try different adapters/usb sticks). If you deleted the vendor partition I think you should be able to fix it by going back to stock or finding a vendor image/backup. If the only problem is that you ran the vendor to factory script and now twrp dies not find it you can just update twrp. Updating twrp could also help with the unrecognized usb issue.

I can't mount otg because twrp don't let me selected the option, I had install all drivers I found of zuk, lenovo and qualcomm and still unrecognizable on the computer, therefore I can flash stock or the vendor image/backup, the version of my twrp is the 3.3.0.0, the most updated. You know if there is a way to force the computer to recognize the device?
Solved doind this.

I previously successfully installed and ran lingeageOS for a long time. In attempting to flash stock android, I'm getting a part-way successfully then failing to a screen titled 'fastbootd' when the flash script attempts to enter userspace fastboot. I'm running Arch Linux and have android tools installed locally as well with the android-tools package. I can start the device into fastboot mode and see it on my PC with `fastboot devices`:
$ fastboot devices
13091FDD4000GY fastboot
I would prefer to install android 11, but I've also tried android 12 with the same end failure result.
How can I troubleshoot this further? Any help is much appreciated!

Hi Brian, have you tried a different usb cable? I only use windows so I can help more if you get a windows PC or run windows from a usb. I also unlock the bootloader manually with the ADB tools, first before using the flash tool.
So I switched to a macbook and a different USB cable both at the same time, and it worked. I'm speechless lol. Thank you for your help! Honestly the biggest benefit here is that I don't have to use Android 12 yet which was buggy as hell on my Pixel 6 Pro before someone did me the favor of stealing it in Miami.
