For people who are trying who are having trouble with Sunshine not recognizing the Kingroot. When Kingroot finishes rooting, go to the setting and uncheck and recheck the option called "Root Authorization" (or something like that), than go into Sunshine, worked for me.
Now onto the point of me making this thread.
Moto X Pure has this rom. It is a Nexus experience ROM with the Moto software. Now, on this Turbo, I can't live without Moto Display and Moto Actions, and this is one of the very few ROMs that has this software. So calling any devs out this, can anybody make a similar ROM for the Turbo? I'm 120% sure it would be a massive hit. Finally get rid of Verizon.

Quark already has Nexus Experience ROM.

It's being updated by @computerfreek274 for Droid Turbo. You are asking for something that is already done.

Probably the one computerfreek274 is working on.
CM and all others have active display (where you wave your hand over the screen to see notifications). And there's a Moto Camera + Galley for CM. But nothing else much Moto specific.
Is there much else?
CM 12.1 has been updated to accept XT1254. But unless you wait for the next "nightly" which will appear by tomorrow 11am or know how to pull manually, you can use Resurrection Remix with @baybutcher27 beta kernel for XT1254.
That combo works right note for XT1254.

It runs smooth as butter. You have to flash baybutchers latest kernel 1.1.6 from his kernel thread in the Maxx forums, but its working great. Signal connected quick and ive made test calls, all working smoothly. I'm just finishing playing around with the settings making my rom perfect. Xposed is not baked in but RR has so many settings I don't really need xposed, but it can be installed

You can also use CM right now with @baybutcher27 beta kernel, if you flash it immediately afterwards in TWRP.
(No longer beta, it's official version 1.16 or later.)

In case you are interested, Resurrection Remix now has Verizon visual voice mail working.
On the droid turbo I have also used 'you mail' visual voice mail. Its very similar to Verizon's.

Looks like the Devs have been busy the last few days. Not only did we obtain root for the D3 we gained root for most of Motorola's phones. Now today we hear that the Droid 3 has a custom recovery, but that is not all. Since the D3 shares a lot of similarities with the Bionic not only did the D3 get a recovery but so did the Bionic! We will be gathering the method in which to install the new recovery on your prize possession soon so everyone can enjoy the benefits of ClockWork Recovery.
All credit for this working recovery goes to @Hashcode

Nice! Let the custom ROMs roll in
I see the picture, but I sure wish there was a link!
Does anyone know if RZR recovery works on any rooted droid? I used it on my OG Droid and it was awesome.

Awesome. Does this mean the bootloader is still locked, or is that still being worked?
I don't have the phone anymore, but my friend has a Bionic and it was the first phone he rooted. He's interested in the custom rom and CWM thing.

Should allow for at least custom roms to be built. The question is if this got the bootloader too ... otherwise the roms can customized but the kernel will be stuck on stock.
Still, it opens up a lot of options to improve the phone.
ROMs yes, bootloader, not quite yet. Still working on that one.
I can't wait until the CWM Recovery is released, shaking in my robot boots.
God damn do I have respect for these devs. The phone hasn't even been out for a week!

Hmm, well I just switched from a Droid x to bionic and the 2init was the thing that really got the party started so I'm definatly looking forward to that. Although the bootstrapper will be nice too, as I expect it will be finished before the 2init.

Someone way smarter than me can clarify, but my (remedial) understanding is that bootstrapper inserts code prior to a reboot, so that upon reboot a new set of instructions are run that take you to recovery.
I think 2nd-init is a different way to do the same thing, it just creates a 2nd set of instructions upon boot, but doesn't require an actual reboot to prompt the code.
That's what google taught me, but again, I read like 2 websites and didn't get it all.
I'm more of a light-stuff-on-fire kind of guy, than a developer.

Sorry for not researching before, thought it was a ROM issue.
Great ROM! I'm using it and it's so much better than stock 5.0.2. However, there's one issue (the same issue that I had on my stock HTC One VX, oddly) — whenever my phone is locked, WiFi turns off. I had the phone set to Power Save via the quick setting and thought this might be the issue, so I toggled it back to Balanced. The issue persisted. In the WiFi settings, “Keep WiFi on during sleep” is set to “Always.” I'm honestly so clueless as to what could be causing this and it's really annoying as I'm not currently on a mobile plan. As far as I'm aware, it's just started today (I've been using the ROM for about a week). Please help me out here.
Does it have support for RRO layers ?

With the latest Marshmallow Update to this ROM, I haven fallen in love with the ROM. It has more 'free RAM' than the stock. Also small customizations like 'Changing Behaviour of the LED', 'Themes' etc. makes it quite useful. It does have a negative impact on my phone, however I've made up for it by using Xposed Modules like Amplify, PowerNap, Greenify etc. Overall, very happy with this ROM as of now.
Will definitely Donate to the Dev once I start earning.
Cheers to Developer!
'Quadrooter' flaws affect over 900 million Android phones
Moto X 2nd gen is vulnerable to the Quadrooter according to this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.checkpoint.quadrooter
Since Motorola never released any security patch and Moto X is out of their future OS update program, what are the options left for the existing Moto X 2nd gen users who want to stick with stock ROM and don't want to part with their Moto X any time soon?
i allready check with Quad Rooter Scan and its possitive the mobile had the 4 vulnerabilities.....the only solution is go to cm13 ....for the moment when the patch is out go back to stock. I hope it will be soon, the news is everywhere so Qualcom has to do something.

Put it on your internal storage and reboot to recovery. Select apply update from sdcard (or something like that). This will only work if you are truly stock with no modifications to the system partition.

Thanks, I was also thinking about that option in recovery if it will work, but never tried so was skeptical.
One more thing, if I update through this route then will my stock phone will turn into 'modified' one or will remain stock? Will there be any problem in case some OTA arrives?
This should leave you 100% stock

Received a security update today. Not sure if it fixes this bug.
