About LG L90 D405n original rom firmware backup - LG Optimus L90

Hello,
I am new in this forum. I was searching, but I didn't exact information about my question.
1) I want to do backup of my LG L90 D405n stock firmware rom. (Can someone give me link of these exact procedures?)
2) If I write and use for some time in my LG L90 for example CyanogenMod, and after some time using that I will restore to original stock firmware. So when it will be restored to original firmware, do I get back warranty?
Regards,
Lukas

You can backup your current rom (any rom) using a custom recovery (cwm or twrp). If you want to recover warranty you need to flash kdz stock firmware.. Hope it give you some help

Thank you. What is kdz?
And why I need to download kdz, if I want to do myself my phone's rom firmware backup???
Can you give me exact procedures how can I restore stock rom with warranty?

If you want to backup your device and experience other custom ROMs, you need to root, unlock bootloader and install a custom recovery on your phone. Just by rooting it you will loose your warranty. If you want to get it back, you will have to flash a kdz file (official LG rom) that will unroot your phone, relock bootloader and remove custom recovery.. You have lots of tutorials to "unlock" phone in l90 thread here at xda (just do a little search) but to ”relock" it I only find this (it works):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2803479
Hope it helps you on your decision.

Well, I have rooted my phone, but I don't find how to unlock bootloader for lollipop version, because everywhere is attached file "L90_D405n_v10b_aboot.zip", not v20a.

The link where you have aboot.IMG for lollipop, (above post) download latest recovery there too.
Make sure ur flashing recovery in the right place.
To flash a custom ROM (my advice cm12.1, Orion lp or uber slim) just follow steps in each opening post.

Official Firmwares

I have a question about official firmwares. Let's say I flash an official firmware that was not intended for my device. I can see that every country has their own. Will I still get updates when they are released or should I have the firmware that the phone came with?
Thank you in advance

Hello,
You should be worry whether the devices have different hardwares, because using such firmware can brick your device.
If the devices have the same hardware then you can use that firmware and after this I think you will have to update manually.

I will flash official firmware for the specific device. I8190. I will not flash firmware intended for other model. Just other country.
I would like to know if I would still get OTA updates.
Thank you for replying

You can do anything you want, except one thing-change KNOX Status.First, you have to make sure you are root. Then flash a custom recovery.
Once done, you can flash a new custom ROM`s.
I insist it is possible to unlock your phone, flashing modified ROM 4.1.1/not stock/ and using a hidden menu to unlock from this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...card-unlock-samsung-galaxy-s3-gt-t2185866,but you must flash a custom ROM 4.1.1 from this thread:http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=738977 .Naturally you have to flash through custom recovery.
Various of our colleagues from this forum/HTCmania/ have done- applying this method.Good luck
yeah you right

Go to the Sprint HTC One Development Forum and find a ROM you want to flash. Each ROM's developer should provide instructions on how to flash their ROM. Also, only flash ROM's that are made for your Sprint phone or you are asking for trouble.
I tried flashing revolution on my sprint m7. And it softbricked now its running good. My question is, can i fkash a european rom or should i stick with the sprint roms

International / AT&T / Developer Edition / T-Mobile are all GSM
you have a CDMA, their are differences in the partition structure

[ROM][STOCK][KK 4.4.4]XT1095 flashable stock rom

I have created a stock rom of 4.4.4 kitkat that you can flash via custom recovery. The only modification that I have made is to remove the motrola OTA service, that way there will be no bricks from people taking an OTA and it won't bother anyone about OTA update messages.
Installation:
1) If you are coming from another rom, or a different version of android you must do a factory reset.
2) Install the zip file through TWRP/CWM/etc.
3) Enjoy.
Download

Can we get this to work on CDMA (Verizon) with a modified "buildprop" like their doing with the MM 6.0 roms ?! Anyone, thanks..
I accidentally flashed it on my xt1092, i'd like to go back and am worried it might have messed my xt1092 modem/radio.
does this rom actually contain xt1095 radio/modem files?

Thank you for making the effort.
First of all thanks for upload. but i think 4.4.4 kitkat rom is useless, on Gsmarena write that battery long lasts about 8 hours, and lolipop & marshmellow about 10 hours. plus 4.4.4 design i do not like. this is my opinion
oh my god. when i installed this rom, almost nothing worked, no gsm, no wi-fi, also did not work after this install 6.0 stock rom, it was stucked to logo, then i install again this rom, write in my phone xosp rom xosp apps gapps, go to recovery, did factory reset, and then install 7.1.1 xosp rom, everything finished good for me.
plus i lost root as i heard late :/ my suggestion do not install this rom from 6.0

How do I get started with flashing custom ROMs?

I have some previous experience with flashing ROMs, but from other devices, such as HTC Desire, Nexus 7 (2012 WiFi) etc. Unlocking the bootloader of Nexus 7 was pretty easy and I was able to flash ROMs afterwards. But what is the procedure for LG L90? I've seen some bootstacks which I don't know what they exactly are. I bought the phone with V10d-EUR-XX firmware and it was fully stock. Then I got an OTA update to V20a-EUR-XX (LP 5.0.2). I'm still fully stock. What should I do to unlock the bootloader in this situation to be able to flash a recovery and ROMs? I have the D405 (without NFC) variant of the phone.
Thanks in advance.
Follow this link but dont use its files.. They maybe outdated and not for your bootstack (v20a)..

Go here for updated custom recovery and check 2nd post for aboot.bin updated to v20a bootstack

If you already have unlocked bootloader and custom recovery installed make a backup of your ROM and try flashing other ROMs here at xda.. Its your best bet to see if works on your phone
