Whenever I turn ultra power saving mode on, it changes my wallpaper to the one that came with my theme. When I turn it off, it will not change it back to the original one I had before turning it on. I must go back into wallpaper settings and change it back. Would use upsm much more often if I didn't have to do this
Any suggestions to fix this?

Hi all,
I have a Xperia Z and a charging dock, the DK26. Everything works fine, except for one thing.
When I put my phone in the dock it automatically switches to landscape mode, thats fine. Because my homescreen is also switching to landscape. Only my lockscreen doesn't switch to landscape, it stays in portrait mode.
I've seen it happen a few times, when I put my phone in the dock, the lockscreen switches to landscape mode and switches back immediately.
Is there a way to fix this? Or is it just another bug from Sony?
Thanks in advance,
LTKort

I never seen my lockscreen in landscape when docked. At least no the Sony stock one.
So I guess it's a bug. I remember reading someone posted that if you reboot the device while docked, the lockscreen will be landscaped. Haven't tried.
Lock screen should be in portrait. To enable landscape lockscreen, you need to edit your build.prop file.

Do you have any more details on this fix?
Has anyone tried one of the available apps from the Play store?
Since having the camera, the wallpaper I choose never stays for long and the camera reverts back to a gradient blue on home screen and lock screen. Every morning when I check it, see it has gone back to the default blue.
The issue occurs whether I use the other available internally stored OEM wallpapers or alternate.
Any ideas?
Same thing happens to me, but my Google account also disappears. Sometimes it happens at the same time, and sometimes it's just the wallpaper. The interestng part is that when I used a completely custom wallpaper it never happened -- only when I used one of the stock wallpaper choices.

I recently updated S Health and noticed that the font size of the step count that displays on the lock screen is too big. So now the numbers get cut off. Not quite sure how to fix this short of turning it off. I have the default font type and medium font size set through the system settings.
This what I have tried:
1. Changing the font size to small through the system display setting
2. Uninstalling S Health and reinstalling it.
3. Changing the lock screen clock size to medium.
4. Turned off owner information to display on the lock screen
5. Turn off weather on lockscreen
6. Turn off pedometer to display on lock screen then turn it back on
7. Clear Dalvik/Cache and restarted many many times
Does anyone know if I'm missing something? I am using the hyperdrive rom and I am not using any special fonts.
Thank for any help.

If you installed the S5 Widget Module, uninstall that. Then go into recovery, settings and fix permissions.
Reboot. Worked for me.
Hey guys I don't know if you all have ran into this issue. So the quick story whenever I toggle on Ultra Power Saving it does its thing and toggles on mono screen and the various apps like the phone and messaging apps and Facebook app so its pretty standard in activating this setting. The problem starts whenever I toggle it off that is when it reverts back to the regular launcher I have, that is when I turn it U. Power Saving that it does not keep the apps, folders, and the widgets that I had previously they are not uninstalled just removed from the home screen. Have any of you guys know why or how i can fix this? I'm tired of having to rearrange my apps every time I toggle this feature on. Could this be Samsung or my phone? Any info will help! Also if you have this similar problem then it'd be good to hear that I'm not the only one!!
Info:
Tmobile S6 on Marshmallow 6.0.1
Google Now Launcher
Have already factory restored the device and issue still there.
Sorry I wanted to post pics of it but since I am a noob here i am not able to post Pics But i hope that I explained the problem using just words!!!
Hi everyone,
I am not sure what i did, but i am unable to remove icons from touchwiz home screen. When i was setting everything up, i was able to do so by holding down on the icon and a menu would popup, but not anymore. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Figured it out. I disabled the animations via developers menu which somehow caused the pop-up for removal of icons not to appear.
Had the same thing on my S8 - I suspected that the developer settings were at fault - but I didn't want to believe it. Thanks for the tip.
Turning off Animator Duration Scale in Developer Options will cause this issue. Set it to 0.5x and it will work again.
