Fit data - Samsung Gear Live

I have a galaxy live paired with a htc one GPe running Android 6. I had issues with the latest version of Android wear so I tried wiping and restoring with the galaxy live restore tool v2. Since then Google fit tracks twice the steps it did before and also counts my driving as walking. Any suggestions?

[Q] Best OS/variant for use w/ Nexus 6?

Hi all. I just bought a Galaxy Gear cheaply and it has the latest (MK7) Android revision on it. I downloaded some Gear Manager and other APKs on here to my Nexus 6 and managed to get it to pair, but I do not get weather or dual city clock face functionality. Also some app keeps crashing on my phone after certain events, like hanging calls up. I think it was called GoManager. My phone is rooted but my watch is fully un-modded.
Which OS is the best thing for me to get the most functionality out of this watch given that I do not use a Samsung device, and especially that I use a Nexus 6? I heard of Null, and of course Tizen. Also TizenMod. What should I do to have the best experience & where can I find an up to date guide on what to do with my watch, phone, & PC? I was hoping to have at least a watch face with the weather, my notifications, & syncing of camera snaps from the watch over to my phone (bare transfer every X minutes is fine).
Thanks so much.

Unpair/Re-Pair LG Watch Urbane - Google Fit "Challenges" Not Showing On Watch Now

Unpair/Re-Pair LG Watch Urbane - Google Fit "Challenges" Not Showing On Watch Now
I swapped Android Phones over the holiday weekend and I noticed on my LG Watch Urbane, I no longer see my Google Fit Challenges and Google Fit looks to be an older version. I didn't do anything differently as I simply unpaired from the old phone and paired to new phone.
Is there anything I can do to get it back?
Thanks!
Brian
I've seen in the Google Forums that someone else has encountered this on an ASUS watch, so perhaps it is Google Fit at fault? I really need the newer fit on my watch.
I've also had the same thing happen on my new phone. I have tried resetting the watch, uninstalling and reinstalling Google Fit, all multiple times with no change.
Next step I was thinking would be to try installing an older APK on the phone to see if that would help to jiggle it loose into upgrading on the watch.
I have Wear Apps Manager installed on the watch, and no matter what I try, I am not seeing the Google Fit app get updated on my LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE watch.
Anyone else have some ideas?
Thx.

This worked for me:
I did this on my LG Watch Urbane and Moto Z Force. I removed Google Fit from my Phone. I un-paired / re-paired my watch to my phone with Fit not installed on my phone. Completed the re-pairing process and then loaded the 1.59 version of Google Fit. I also forced a sync of apps between phone and watch in the Android Wear app. Ding ding ding ding! This Worked!!!!!

Installing an older APK from apkmirror.com successfully pushed an updated Google Fit to my LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE watch.
FWIW, I grabbed the Sept 1 version of Google Fit from http://www.apkmirror.com/?s=google+fit&post_type=app_release&searchtype=apk

Android Auto not recognising all music apps

This seems to happen nearly every time I flash a new rom or reset a phone. I restore everything using titanium backup. Then I open android auto and the only music/media app it recognises is google play music. Doesn't recognise Pandora, Spotify or pocketcasts. I've tried reinstalling all of these and still nothing.
Normally a data wipe of those apps make them recognise it but not this time. Pixel XL on pure nexus rom. Pioneer avic f70dab
I'd hazard a guess that because you are restoring them from titanium backup, android auto is recognising them as not being from the playstore and so it won't recognise them due to safety reasons.
But since you have had no problems in the past I'm not sure why this would be happening. I just enabled my non playstore version of spotify to work with android auto. Such a relief.

Seat (VW Full link) Android Auto restart issue

I have a Seat Ibiza 2016 with built-in head unit (VW Full Link).
When I am using Android Auto, the infotainment system restarts from time to time.
The frequency of the restarts increase if I am listening music on Spotify or if I am going fast (faster updates on the Google Maps screen).
Usually, the music stutters first and after a while, the infotainment system restarts.
I tried using different phones and cables (Google Pixel with Android N and Samsung Galaxy Edge with Android M), testing with different versions of Android Auto and getting the infotainment system updated, but no avail, the issue still persists.
Do you know a solution for this issue?

Try updating the infotaiment, there are some firmware w w w. club seat leon . net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=118140&start=600#p1928908 It's a spanish forum
I strongly recommend you do NOT upgrade the Infotainment system.
It is very risky and you might end up not having your car for many months, and pay a bill of over 1,300 euro if you have any issue and need to take the car back to SEAT.
In my particular case, I updated mine recently and I had problems with the ACC/Front Assist. In the end they have had to replace the hardware of the unit 5F (infotainment) because the new firmware was causing issues.
The new firmwares are not "supported" by SEAT and if there are any infotainment system problems they will replace it altogether and you'll have to pay for the hardware, and 10+ hours of labour.

I have recently experienced that too. I noticed this problem when I updated the Samsung buds to the latest firmware. The first problem I noticed was that when the update finished it disconnected my Galaxy watch and made me reset it. I will do a factory reset on my phone and hopefully, that helps it.
Try to lower the AVRCP version in Developer settings in the Bluetooth section. Worked on my '13 Seat Ibiza with a portable Garmin system. After set it to 1.3, turn bluetooth off and on again.
If the AVRCP, which is set to 1.4 by factory, is too high, the music playback works mostly, but things like music controls and title information not.
I set it to 1.3 and it works for me now. I don't know if new devices are backward compatible, especially the Galaxy Buds.
Btw, I had similar issues with my old Huawei P10 on Android 8.0 (EMUI8). Google didn't implement the option to change the AVRCP version so I couldn't use my phone on the cars at work or rental cars - mostly VW and Mercedes.
I thought it was a hardware issue, but then I installed a 8.1 rom, where this option was enabled and from then it worked.
And with my iPhone 6S worked everything great 3 years ago under iOS9. 3 weeks ago I needed to use it again, updated to iOS 12 and it didn't work at all with my cars system. In iOS you don't have the ability to change the AVRCP version, so I guess Apple wants you to buy a new car, as Huawei does with EMUI8.
