By off do you mean power off or just screen off?

I don't use Cyanogen Mods...but you could try installing xposed and fiddle around with greenify's wakelock settings.

[Q] Screen flashing when charging ( Nook HD+ CM 10.2.1 emmc)

I got problem with my Nook HD+ display, it now run CM 10.2.1 (emmc). When I charge with AC adapter, the screen always flashing until I plug the cable out ( Stock Rom 2.2.0 doesn't have this problem). Does anyone meet this problem? How can I fix this? Thanks a lot!

It appears your still able to use it kind of flashing. Probably a bug since bn rom is fine. What the bug is idk. Never seen it on 10.1, 10.2 nor 11.
You already know a fix...to use a different rom. Sometimes that's just how it goes.
You could also try a clean install of 10.2 if not already.

I found in this forum that it may be the hardware issue, but the stock FW doesn't have this problem, so I will try on CM11. Thanks!

When I upgraded from 10.2 to 11/M7, the battery drain was terrible. But after going from M7 to M10, it is MUCH better.

Have you tried going to cm10 instead? The guy above said that cm11 drained his battery as well.

From a clean flash?
Also, did you try using different kernel settings and/or another kernel?

I haven't kept up with the cappy's dev but NeatKernel seems popular. Check its features and see if it fits your needs (that goes for ROM as well).
Maybe flashing twice does the trick

No I didn't care for cm10. If I didn't see any improvement with the latest milestone I was going to go back to the gingerbread kernel and cm7. I would expect there to be more battery consumption with KitKat then gingerbread due to the mere work load on the processor. But its running more conservative than my dual core phone with ICS ever did even with this amoled screen.
The second flash of cm11 fixed my issues. From CWM recovery I first wiped the cash, installed the cm11 zip file on the SD, then wiped dalvik cache. After up and running I did remove some Google Apps that suck battery and bandwidth like Chrome and Google Play sound recorder (which seems to be running all the time searching for music or something).

[Q] Phone turns on when plugged on charger

Hello, my LT25i turns on, when I plug it on the charger in turnt off condition. I want to turn it off and charge it, when I go to bed. This behavior is since I updated it to Android 4.3 a few month ago.
Does anyone have a solution for it?
The phone is rooted, bootloader is open and Xposed Framework is installed.
Thank you!
I know that this happens with some custom roms, offline charging does not work.
Did you install a custom kernel?
If I'm not mistaking, the fixed NeoWave cm11 kernel doesn't have that problem.
I don't know if that is compatible with your rom though.

No, I have the stock Rom.
Does it really boot into the system, or only to the 'battery loading screen'? The latter is normal behaviour.

Best roms questions thread are usually not tolerated by moderators here. There is no "best" roms, try some yourself and choose the one you like the most.

All kernels can be found in the kernel section of this forum, you need to use one that is compatible for your rom base and android version.

ElementalX is for Sense and GPE based roms, will not work on CM roms, read the OP before flashing next time, its the first information written in elementalX thread.

[HELP] Android System eating a huge chunk of battery

As the title says, Android System is reported to be consuming a huge chunk of battery for no rhyme or reason. Also, "Google" is said to be consuming a lot of battery too according to a notification that shows up now and then.
I'm running theOne3TOS w/ Magisk and Systemless Xposed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry that I didn't take a screenshot of the charging graph. And yes, I'm rooted w/ Magisk on theOne3TOS w/ Franco Kernel r40. The only additional mod I have installed is V4A and that has never caused me any issues.
So do this.
Install Betterbatterystats from XDA.
Run it once to make sure it works fine.
Charge your phone to 90+%
Use it normally till 40%
Upload here charging graph from your battery page and the Alarms/Summary tabs from Betterbatterystats.
