BUGS:
The headset/headphones are not detected at all! Tried the crappy Sony Headset, it would not detect a headphone being connected at all. Music plays through speaker only
The camera app can take pictures at maximum resolution of 5MP only!
The ROM is pretty heavy on the battery.
The carrier name in settings always crashed.

Oh, i will make sure to fix headset. Camera should be the same as CM one, is it a problem there as well?
Mine has OK battery, not the best but it gets me through the day.

The camera can capture at a maximum resolution of 5MP only, even in the camera settings the maximum resolution is 5MP, whereas in CM10.1, the maximum resolution is 13MP.
The battery life is now better after hours of burning in the new ROM. ROM's quite intrusive at first but one gets used to it, Overall it's very smooth.
Edit: I have posted a picture of the camera app settings where the max resolution is 5MP.

I forgot to replace the camera with the CM one. If you use Gallery2.apk from 10.1 13MP will be max resolution.
Will fix in next release.

I uninstalled both MiGallery.apk and Gallery2.apk and installed GalleryGoogle.apk and camera is working great now; 13 mp, photosphere, panaroma, HDR all working.

I get status error when installing with updater-script with the line assert prop, after i deleted that line and installed the rom ,it installed but after restarting the phone, it is blank, no display, i had to flash offical rom back to stock to mak it working. wat am i doing wrong
I have a c5502 xperia zr with 4.1.2 rom rooted and cwm , with locked bootloader

This ROM requires unlocked bootloader, because it uses CM-kernel.

thanks for your help, it is very good rom, except for the headset issue, hope there is a fix to it now. i dont want to remove the rom, its awsome

New build has been posted. No differences except updated MIUI base, i am still trying to fix the headset issue

Has anyone tried it yet and does it offer any performance improvement over official 4.2.2, any benchmarks?

Hello,
Just tried the latest build. Headphones are not detected but the camera can take pictures up to 12.8Mp.
I think I'm gonna go back to a stock rom until the headphones bug is solved.

Has anyone successfully tried it on C5502?
I tried it and despite unlocked bootloader, flashed boot.img from archive (CWM works well, clean install, wiped everything several times) ... ended stuck during first boot on MIUI logo.

Is this ROM still running stably for those who had installed it in April?

Front Camera Issue
I am getting error when using front camera. It comes as camera not connected. Any work around? Please help. The rest of the ROM is amazing and smooth.
I even tried with different camera applications. Same issue.

Please list out common fixes and workaround as well.
For instance I got IMEI Invalid after installing this Rom. Then I went back to stock backed up EFS using Mobile Uncle and restored it back after installing AOSP again.
Second issue is the front camera...
Please help..

Bro ur ROM is awosome but there are some bugs I find after using 1day of this ROM...like front camera not working....and brightness is set to zero level l....if it set automatically.. In day it go just blank .boot logo sound is taken from takken game its feels sometime irritating the whites theme not good its make hard for some time ...doesn't feel good ...I already hit thanks for ur effort for making this ROM.............plz dev prodive us a upgraded version of this ROM...it gonna very m2 ROM if these bugs are fixed....

Unable to find "Install zip from sdcard" option on recovery

I am using Micromax canvas turbo A250.
I am not able to find "Install zip from sdcard" option when I reboot my Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 to recovery. Do I need to do anything extra to get that option?
Would like to get help from people who have done this already.

CyanogenMod is an aftermarket firmware for a number of cell phones based on the open-source Android operating system. It offers features not found in the official Android based firmwares of vendors.

- SIM1 for phone calls (incoming/outgoing) and SMS, data (2g, 3g)
- SIM2 is a WIP
- Audio (microphone - now also outside phone calls, loudspeaker, headphones)
- Sensors
- Wifi (not wifi direct)
- GPS (no A-GPS yet nor EPO assist files, so the fix can take a bit)
- hw composer
- wifi and usb tethering
- battery usage stats (expect the usage for Display to be very unprecise)
- candy crush, facebook and twitter
What doesn't work, known bugs:
- 2nd sim card 3G switch, Dual SIM is a WIP, not fully there yet
- re-enable after flightmode broken
- camera does not work ( Will be fixed soon )
- (hw) video en/decoding not enabled
- bluetooth not available
- FM radio not available
- A-GPS does not work, GPS works though but slowish

I think you are trying to install from stock recovery ! U should install a custom recovery. ( U need CWM/TWRP recovery). Get it from general thread and find procedure there

Could not be able to boot CM v0.17 after flashing the rom. Struck on micromax logo. Flashing the rom is successful but not booting. Don't know why. Have tried many time. Still strucks on micromax logo.

Do a factory reset. I've saw that you have problem with 5.1 too, maybe you have changed partition file formats. Easily, flash stock from flashtool and then fastboot every file of this or 5.1 rom.

I think it's completely unneeded. This is an alpha release. When i fix the incall audio, i'll push it to Beta and both will be included.

I'm waiting for beta then! And i can't wait for it
