The currently available version of Xposed for Android Lollipop is only installable via custom recovery. So if you want to use Xposed on a device, which is running Android Lollipop, you have to root it, flash a custom recovery (preferrable TWRP) and flash Xposed framework. For more information about Xposed for Android Lollipop, visit this thread.
Please, read the first two post very carefully, and have a look at post #2 in this thread. It contains a flow chart which lets you identify the suitable Xposed version for your device.
For a Samsung S4 running stock Lollipop, you will most likely have to look at this thread also.
Thanks but...

First of all, use another custom recovery, CWM is known to cause issues. Use TWRP instead.
Second, in the thread I have linked (again, here is the link) there is a flow chart available in post #2 to identify the correct version of Xposed for each user individually. Have a look at it.
The version for TouchWiz-based ROMs is unofficial, as it is not being maintained by rovo89 himself.
A side note from my side: if you want me to reply to you, quote my post or mention me by writing @orville87.

There is a simple guide. It's called "search and read before posting". I would suggest you head over to this thread for some information about Xposed for Android Lollipop. Read at least the first two posts.
If you can't find a proper answer, search XDA for "Xposed Zenfone".

How to install xposed ?

I do not know how to install xposed on my note 4 running android 6.0.1. Any tutorials that i can follow to install xposed ?

Xposed for Marshmallow 6.0.1

I read in Xposed FAQ about Xposed framework installation :
Does this require root access?
Yes, because it replaces a file in /system/bin. Once the framework is installed, it should work without root access.
Noob question : is it also the case for my mobile SAMSUNG Galaxy A5 2016 running Marshmallow 6.0.1 and not rooted ?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Since Android Lollipop, the only requirement is an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery (TWRP for example). Check this thread for more details about Xposed on a Samsung device with Android 6.0.1:

@Portgas D. Ace
Thanks for your reply.
I will read the thread you mentioned.
But I don't understand a point : to unlock a bootloader and install a custom recovery, I believed that the mobile have to be rooted.
Is it not the case ?
Sorry for my noob remarks.
Well, for the numerous devices that I own, I had to unlock the bootloader before rooting was possible. But for detailed instructions, check the corresponding device subforum on XDA. There you'll find information about this.

Unfortunately after reading instructions, it seems that I will lose SAMSUNG warranty for my device. It's like rooting your device.
So I can't install Xposed framework on my Galaxy A5 2016, as I could do it for a "normal" application (without rooting my device).
I was thinking that it was possible since Android Marshmallow.
