Great! Would you mind posting updates on what's working and what is not? Would really appreciate it

Dude, take a toothbrush and clean out the speaker mesh...

this is great news! I hope the sound is high quality and the memory card is working without interruption

The link goes to a Google+ account and the "news" were posted five weeks ago. As there is no official CM12 development for memul since April 2015 anymore, this can only be a fake.

November

Last CM nightly is dated April 11. There are some guys working on CustomRoms like Nostromo and Carbon, but they have a lot of work because there is no CM branch for memul anymore.
I'd be very glad if there was a CM13 but I don't see any developer for that. That's why I think the photo is a fake.

I will recommend it, as I dont have any major concerns apart from lack of support from HTC after selling.
Good to use device, with good battery life...at least for me

Are you having slow charging problem? are we going to have any support from CM13? if the phone is not alive any more for customer roms, I will not consider it anymore
---------- Post added at 03:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:07 PM ----------
Does this phone support AT&T LTE band 2/4/17?

I hope CM13 will be on HTC One MINI 2 !

As someone who have used both phones, i do not think it is wise. One Mini 2 is great phone, much better sound and build quality than G2, about the same camera quality and speed in daily use is similar. Having sd card is a good thing too, but on 32gb G2 storage is not an issue.
G2 however wipes the floor with Mini 2 in display and battery. G2 has very good 1080p display and solid 5hour screen on time. One Mini 2 is only 1/4th resolution and smaller size too, with 3-4 hour SOT max.
However, when used little and kept on standby, One Mini 2 (with Power Saver on) is about the most long lasting phone i have EVER used. Mine is frequently surpassing 6 days on 1 charge. No joke. G2 cannot go beyond 2,5-3 days at best.
Unless your G2 is broken, keep it.

CM13 ANDROID 6.0 HTC OnE MiNi 2
In the end, what is the status of the CM 13 development for the ONE 2 MINI ?
It will be a release of this version for this device after all?

The code of android 6.0 is 90% from the code of android 5.1
Only little thinks was changed.
It can't be a big think to port it to the one mini 2.
Flashing a cm13 rom for another phone with the same processor ends in a bootloop, but at least it displays the bootanimation!
There are only a little thing and that makes the bootloop.
The next think is to add drivers for the htc hardware (camera, speakers and so on).
The cm12.1 project also looks as it is dead.
No developer has this phone anymore.
The offical cm dev of this devices leaves us with the third cm12 nightly from 2015...
Its a great phone, but you'll better get another phone for goos rom support.

Nice new rom to play with.
Just a few errors in the OP, not sure if you noticed them yet...
New power mwnu from SlimRoms;
Lockscreen tragets and shortcuts from SlimRoms;
Lockascreen PIN key pad shuffler;
Regardless, it's great to see another ROM to play around with!
Ok will fix them., thanks mate.
In the other hand im having Internet issues and the upload got cancelled 3 times already for slow upload. Will do tomorrow if i dont get an update done before uploading with lots of more options to play with.
Op updated with download link
What doesn't work? lol
Downloading
Everything works that i know of.
Idk if this is a Google thing or we just have amazing devs. But I feel like it was SO much easier to make a stable 4.4 build then any other one.

Soo... are you SVLan with a different name? I noticed SVLan is no longer the OP for PureSpeedX. Just curious. I'm running PureSpeedX and it is the fastest, best battery life ROM that has ever existed for the AHD, so if this is from the same guy, I can't wait to play with it. Can we expect that kind of speed? If we have that kind of speed and halfway comparable battery life along with customizations like you have here, this will be insane. I get easily 2 work days worth of medium use out of PSX. That's unheard of for any android really. Anyways, can't wait to test it out, especially the active notifications. Will be flashing ASAP.
Yes im the same guy.
About this rom, this version is not compare in speed and battery life as CM11 is know to drain battery faster the stock kitkat. But for the options and display animations this one have is very responsive. Will get way better on the coming update soon
The ROM looks good
Very nice customizations, smooth, can't say about battery life yet
I can finally use themes and halo
External SD is still not working on TiBu
Sent from my Calculator
That will be fix on next release
Does it install clean without boot loops ? Lol

Well, I figured that much. CM always uses more battery than AOSP, but when you get two days of battery life, I'd gladly sacrifice half that for customization lol. CM has never hit the battery enough to cause a problem, so if I can get two days out of PSX, surely I can get one day out of this easily. Still can't wait to try it out! Thanks!
Problems with keyboard with swipe and immediately closes with no error, problems with signal sometimes drops it all with no network. Airplane mode fixes it for a little. No vibration feedback anywhere except navigation bar.
Is it just me or is the gapps link not working??

I'm very very happy to say that my very own HTC One is arriving today!!! I cannot wait to get my hands on it. I'm climbing the walls literally, much better size than the 5 invh dvtrrn. It's a 'prettier' design by far.
Any suggestions on what I should do firsrt? Perhapss some updates or upgrades?
All and any help is deeply appreciated
I would just spent time getting to know it before you start pulling it about, honestly this is the best out of the box mobile ive ever had, mine is still stock after nearly a year . The screen is awsome, terrific sound from the speakers, even blink feed is, in my opinion, a great fearure. The camera is ok probably the weakest feature on the phone but play arounds with it, but the Zoe feature is really awsome especially in combo with the video highlights. Get some NFC tags and play about with the NFC to.
Enjoy you One

Congrats, good choice! (Even you could have waited 8 more weeks for the new HTC One 2014).
Advices:
- unpack it and put it to charge (should be always started first time with full battery)
- start, follow instructions (you'll get there possibilities to import your old phones contacts, calendar, sms,...)
- Phone will come with Android 4.22 and sense 5.0, you'll get Upgrade notification (based on your location 4.3 or even already 4.42 each with Sense 5.5), do the upgrade! (Better performance, battery time, no more blinkfeed as homescreen)
- Make some pictures. Pictures have a violet/pink touch? Then you were lucky to pick up a unit with defective camera. Wrap up the device back and ask for another working one (probability is very low; but when the ONE was released almost every third or fourth customer had this problem)
- If your device is fine, just use it, explore the possibilities...
I get notifications on this thread, if you have questions just post them here and I'll try to answer them. Don't root too fast (HTC is in this point al little *****) and look if you can use the ONE without root and custom rom (I can, have my device since half a year and still completely stock; even launcher... Wasn't the point with any of my Samsung devices...)
Don't worry if your phone won't pass a whole day on one battery charge, it must first calibrate. The fourth charge or so you'll experience a much better battery performance
Sincerly

Before you do anything to the device, please read and make sure you understand what you are doing:angel:. If you gonna mod your phone then make a full nandroid backup before and make a copy to your computer:angel:. Also you should consider S-OFF you device if you are going to flash stuff, pretty much easier to back to stock with S-OFF if you screw something.:good:

BTW not true for newer devices like htc one. You can enjoy your device right out of the box, no need to wait until its fully charged.

This issue is caused by heating of the device so he will probably not be able to detect it ''out of the box'' imo.
strait out the box unlock it,, twrp it,,nandroid bk..up s.off ..supercid,,,,and then flash the hell out off it enjoy

CM12.1 for E1

Hello guys.
I just got my E1 2 days back.
And I will be working on bringing up working cm12.1 builds for the E1.
Although it would be great if there are more people to get it done, so! Lets roll the dice and get some cm and other custom love for e1!
It would be great if everyone is on board with us. We will needs lots of development and equally big lot of testing the same before it can be used daily.

Oh, I see. I'm new here so I don't know much about people that are experienced.
I did some things on Android-x86 only, that's why I don't know nothing here but still know android.
If you want someone to test your builds, I can help. I have very fast Internet and I am always availaible. I've already ended my education therefore I have much time to do!
Woah. I'm all ears, I can test your builds, do logcats, but don't know about Android programming
Very nice to hear that! I can also test and logcat anytime.

I've been using E1 for almost a year, the most noticable issues with this phone is the bad display screen
Everything else is Software issue
Im waiting for cm12 port
[email protected]
BTW...... got my E1....... display is much better then i was thinking, sound quality is amazing and the Snapdragon 200 dual core isn't too much slow compared to the Snapdragon 400 quad core. The only issue is the low ram..... at least i managed to lock home in memory so it doesn't refresh everytime.

Sadly, things arent working out the way they should.
As since Alin also said, E1 is dead.
We tried our level best, but since the blobs wont cooperate, Cm for e1 is not happening.

FCC Logo just says Made in China below it, my boss at the PC Recycling Warehouse gave it to me to see what I could do with it, so I'd like to try and attempt to bring it back to life, but need a lil more info about it before I do.
There is still hope! Battery got to 9%... I saw somewhere to leave it plugged in and charging for up to 24hr's. I don't have an original charger, is it normal for webOS to not let us log into services like FB and Gmail, I tried Power+Home Boot and it was a grey background with blue letters red when selected and CyanogenMod Boot Options, turns out to be a 32GB model. LoL! Wooo now I got a multiboot os phone HD2 and tablet! I may just get a official charger for this device so I don't run into this problem again or the TouchStone pad.

Congratulations on resurrecting your HP TouchPad. WebOS has been dead for sometime now and all the servers are offline. I've got a video about bypassing the WebOS activation, just threw up a thread about it after realizing I never bothered to make one..
However most people just go right to installing android and often remove WebOS. I've got a guide that will explain how to do either option below in my tag line.
Happy flashing

Yeah I did that with TPTB and Slapped PAC-man Rom KK On it, still am a bit unpleased with it's general sluggishness, I found the thread talking about correct chargers and frequencies and found one I had that was a 5v 2a current and it done the trick right away, I'm just happy to have a bigger HTC HD2 though now, almost quite literally, discontinued launch os, both only have a single camera, it's it's bigger brother practically. haha

No no no that won't do, the PAC-man rom hasn't seen support for a while but it was great back in the day. You want Milaqs Lineage11 build that has finally got its WiFi fixed, I've been testing it out today and it runs great.
Freshly install the Lineage 11 setup below with TPtoolbox, then upgrade to flintmans newer TWRP and you're good. From here you can upgrade to a newer Nougat rom or just enjoy the solid stability of Kitkat.

Yup it is faster and smoother than the same android version of PAC-man, Nice to not go backwards and just stay at the same Android version build.
I wish there was a more current version of MiUi or a existing build of Mokee OS I tried Mokee on my HD2 and it was awesome.

OnePlus 3 closed beta group receives 8.0 Oreo*

OnePlus has always been praised for having clean, near-stock software, and a big advantage of this is that updates are much easier to push out. Case in point: the OnePlus 3 has already received Android 8.0 Oreo via the closed beta group, with the newer 3T and 5 receiving it soon as well. Plus, OnePlus is hoping for an Oreo public beta by the end of September.

Depends how fast they can fix things but we are talking about OP here... OOS is still buggy after reports from pretty much everyone and all they add is crap like watermarks etc in camera app. Let's hope they can get it out before anyone else then I'll be impressed

I hope too but not much faith in OP on the software side. Lets hope they push the 8.x.x updates and not just give us 8.0 like with 7.0 is was a mess few devices I own suffer from the battery life issues and what not from that because OEM didn't push 7.1.x with the fixes

I agree that battery life is worse in Nougat. However, this is also the case with my Galaxy Tab S2 so it may be a general Nougat issue as opposed to a One Plus issue. Apart from this, I've always found OOS to be excellent and without bugs with great functionality. Samsung could learn a lot from One Plus.
Apart from the split screen mode, I'd go back to MM in a second if there were monthly security updates on both devices.
So you think that the next Open Beta for OOS or H2OS will come with Android 8 ?
