Is anyone running xposed with stock rooted 5.1 with an unlocked bootloader? If so do you use gravity box? My phone bootlooped with the stock 5.1 rom. Not sure it was something I did or if the module not like the stock rom. Thanks Pete

Can we assume your bootloader is unlocked? If so , either 1058 or 1053 ROMs will run fine. Kangakat ROM is based off the stock ROM and beanstalk is based off cm11. Kangakat works flawlessly with all the moto goodies while beanstalk has some minor sound bugs and video issues with the camera app

Are you already on kitkat ? You need to have already excepted the kitkat ota for it to flash correctly, also make sure you are using the correct version of twrp recovery

So I upgraded to lollipop 5.0.1 until I realized how much I miss xposed. Is downgrading as easy as just installing the custom TW Kk rom over the stock lollipop rom? Or do I have to Odin stock KitKat TW before switching to custom TW?

Never mind. I decided not to take the shortcut. Odin'd stock ANK4 and then flashed Firekat. All fine and dandy now! Thanks for the views!

Okay so about 3 hours ago I got my galaxy s6 and no I wish to root it although I'm out of the loop on what's going can someone clarify for me?. I keep seeing that root isn't supported on 5.1.1 luckily for me I'm still on 5.0.2, I tried ping pong root but that didn't work so now I'm thinking of using cf autoroot. I keep seeing people saying that after root they can't hear when making a call or that data is not working I'm just wondering what's going on? I just want to get updated

The people having the issues with call volume and fingerprint scanner are using the eng sboot for 5.1.1
Cf-autoroot or pingpong for 5.0.2 will both give you root with no issues

It was a leaked engineering bootloader. Yeah, if you're gonna do a custom rom, I would flash something that matches your bootloader. (5.0.2 rom for a 5.0.2 bootloader, etc)

ROOT is supported on 5.1.1 when you flash the custom kernel called UniKernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...d-development/kernel-stockmod-kernel-t3100395 and TWRP is also available for people running 5.1.1 only version 2.8.7.1 though but still don't update because most ROMS are based on 5.1.1 and you cant flash a ROM that is based on 5.0.2 right now.

Hmm so I can't flash 5.0.2 roms right now? That's weird because last night I flashed twrp via Odin and then flashed the super su zip then flashed looper rom and that's 5.0.2 and it's been pretty great so far

Yes but do you have the 5.1.1 bootloader? If so you can only flash 5.1.1 ROMS.
Why doesn't it work on of6?
Hello everyone!
I have a moto x 2014 running Android 5.1. I have re rooted it after the update and would like to know if there are any working xposed installer versions. I had been using xposed on 4.4.4 but couldn't find a working version on both 5.0 and 5.1.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
