Hello,
I am curious if the Verizon Moto X 2104 still works well on T-Mobile. I ask 'still' because I have read around and found some old posts that say the phone works great. I also found similar results about the Verizon G3 but after switching to T-Mobile found that text messages are inconsistent at best, hardly ever send or receive. The best I can figure is radio updates messed it up.
So I am wondering if the Verizon Moto X 2014 still works well on T-Mobile.
Thanks

Guys, has anybody tried to take a Us. Celluar Moto X and run it on Verizon? I am contemplating doing such if its possible. I think the Us celluar bootloader is unlocked on the moto x but not sure. I am curious how hard it would be to do this. I have done this before on Samsung Galaxy s4 before, and it was a pain but, I am wondering if the Moto X will be much easier
I'd like to flash a Verizon PRL on my rooted Sprint Moto X (2013). I've seen various instructions on the web about doing this, but no one seems to have up to date info on the Moto X, and I'm struggling to find the right Verizon PRL's. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
There's been a few deals lately for the Moto X 2013 XT1060 and it's features are more tempting than the Moto G 2014 so I'm thinking of going for it. Problem is, the XT1060 is primarily a Verizon phone with GSM. From what I can see, it should work fine with AT&T and MVNO's using AT&T but I'm just wondering if anyone else has gone this route and/or may know of any problems there might be with this setup. Thanks in advance!
I have XT1053 and it is broken. I use it on AT&T and LTE support is important. It was on 4.2.2 and I never upgraded to 4.4 as it seemed all later versions just brought different problems and I never needed any new features. I haven't followed 5.1 too much but if it was any good there would not be threads here about downgrading, right?
My options are (I need to do something fast because I leave for vacation in Europe at the end of the month and would like to use phone there. I don't want anything larger than 5"):
1) Send it to Motorola and for $100 they will fix it. Probably just replace with refurb. But what version of Android will it come with? Does anyone know?
2) Get 2014 Moto X, but what version? It seems "Pure Edition" (XT1095) didn't support AT& LTE bands out of the box but they were upgraded later and that enabled it. Yet I found posts that AT&T IMEI database apparently doesn't list XT1095 as having these bands and phone doesn't connect to LTE on AT&T. One has to proved IMEI from another phone. My AT&T SIM is now associated with 1053, so maybe I would be OK?
has Lollipop upgrade on 2014 Moto X been as bad as it was on 2013?
3) Get XT1097 (AT&T version of Moto X 2014) - I don't like the fact that it only comes with 16GB of storage. Also, can it be rooted/bootloader/SIM unlocked?
4) Get some other phone and here I just don't know what to consider in 5" size because I haven't been following Android phones recently.
Feedback and answers appreciated.
You could wait for the new nexus.
Apparently a 5 inch nexus will be released.
Otherwise, you don't really have many options for 5 inch phone.
