nfc willl work if device has antenna,
otg as said im working on,
edit:
lte is not supported on the H model as it uses a MSM8926 cpu (variant of the MSM8228) and this model does not support lte

the 8926 is itself a variant of the 8228 but even the 8228 does not support lte anyway

the cpu CAN have lte, does not mean it has it. might need a co-processor or something for lte which is not installed. as far as i can tell the kernel is built with lte support either stock or otherwise

Only the GT-i8190N has NFC and it Works with the stock rom, the GT-i8190L doesn't have NFC and I'm not sure about the GT-i8190 but if Samsung doesn't reléase the driver, developers won't be able to add the function to the device as far as I know
we can have the support

This phone have the same chip as we have we can get the driver from it.

URGENT!
Found a man on the xda ready to help porting CyanogenMod 12 on our apparatus (g800h);
(he ported it to s3 Neo (this appart has exactly the same characteristics as our: Snapdragon 400, Adreno 305, 1.5Gb RAM, 16Gb built, the resolution is the same);
He is already trying to collect firmware, but he needs someone who knows English and can communicate with him, as well as understand what firmware, android and rom
Here is his gmail for communication (for example through the hangouts): [email protected]
(do not forget to say about the CM12 port on s5 mini (g800h));
This issue should be solved as soon as possible.

sent msg. lets see. i'll keep you posted.
I got CyanogenMod 12 "working" now for the G800F. WiFi and Radio are not yet working but it should hopefully not be that difficult to do this.
It seems due to the Exynos 3470 the G800F is rather similar to the Galaxy Light which has already been ported to CM11/12 by TeamRegular (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/dev-cyanogenmod-porting-t2918432). The repository for CM12 is here: https://github.com/cm-gardalte/
In the next steps I will compare my current state with that of the Galaxy Light repo and try to get WiFi and Radio to work. When I have a usable state I will post the ROM in the development section.
If other developers want to join, please tell me.
Edit:
As the G800F and G800H are too different (Exynos vs. Snapdragon) my CM12 port only works for the G800F and it is unlikely that it will work for the G800H with minor modifications. So please don't ask me about porting this to the G800H.
i am not a developer, but can support with testing.
g800f already rooted and twrp installed.
Point me out which image to test if you need support.

I looked devices with similar hardware and found the Moto G XT1068 (DUAL), which also has the Snapdragon 400, but is the MSM8226 while ours is the MSM8228. In your opinion, would this ROM to adapt to the S5 Mini DUOS?

At the first look MSM8226 and MSM8228 are very similar, Samsung even names its kernel config base file msm8226-....
The bigger problem might be camera, radio and other stuff that might be different between Samsung and Motorola. Better stick with a Samsung device - and use the Moto G 2nd Gen as a reference to see what the difference between the MSM8226 devices are. The Moto G port does not seem to be that complex so most code for MSM8226 seems to be already unified, or it is all as binary blobs in the vendor folder and might be Motorola specific.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo seems to be very similar: both use an MSM8228 and Adreno305 graphics. Lollipop has already been ported to the S3 Neo:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-neo/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-s3-neo-t2983109
The kernel configs of the S3 Neo and S5mini also have the same base (msm8226-sec_defconfig), only the variants are different (msm8226-sec_s3ve3g_defconfig vs. msm8228-sec_atlantic3geur_defconfig). You can compare these files to see the differences between the two devices (maybe not that big). Also make sure that the base config has really the same contents (msm8226-sec_defconfig). At least this might give you an impression how similar/different both devices are and where you have to make changes.
If you want to compile the kernel, you can find the sources in this repo:
https://github.com/tobigun/samsung-kernel-smg800h
As Samsung enforces SELinux in the stock kernel, it might be better for the beginning to compile your own with SELinux disabled. Otherwise it will be too difficult to get it booting the first time. But you can also try the stock kernel if you want.
I put my changes for the G800F on github for those who want to try CM-12 on the G800F and are able to build it:
https://github.com/tobigun/android_device_samsung_kminilte.git
https://github.com/tobigun/android_vendor_samsung_kminilte.git
https://github.com/tobigun/samsung-kernel-smg800f.git
There is also a little patch to setup the repository:
https://github.com/tobigun/kminilte-patcher.git
No binary images so far as the radio still does not work.
The progress so far:
(Partially) working features:
Audio (basic support)
Wifi
HW accelerated gui
Bluetooth
Camera
MTP storage
USB-OTG (Keyboard, Mouse, USB-Audio but no mass storage so far)
Not working features:
Receiving and making calls
NFC
Fingerprint scanner
Untested:
Hardware sensors (Light, Orientation, Compass, Proximity, Acceleration)
Legacy sensors / Virtual sensors (Gravity, Linear acceleration, Rotation vector)
GPS

hello all,
as most of you have probably already seen i have recently released a custom kernel for the exynos variant of s5mini, but now thanks to some major help from sasukesama in testing over a dozen builds half of which didnt even boot at first i have a working kernel for the G800H with a few tweaks and features added. i will be keeping this kernel and my exynos one maintained regulary so keep checking for updates.
current features on this kernel are:
Code:
1.6Ghz CPU Overclock
550mhz GPU Overclock
100mhz Base GPU Clock (battery saving FTW)
zzmoove CPU governor
Few different I/O governors including FIOPS and BFQ
SU supported and have disabled samsungs stupid rooting protection
few other little tweaks
flashing currently is either via odin or direct flash from device
links for kernel images
Odin tar.md5
Code:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/l51bzvgpf185vxh/boot.tar.md5?dl=0
standard boot.img to flash from device or twrp ive been informed can flash it also
Code:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/06donpl14ef1mws/boot-g800h-14.img?dl=0
kernel source is available
https://github.com/DJSteve/g800h_custom_kernel
please let me know any issues, requests or questions
and again cheers to sasukesama for risking his device testing early versions
If you still need some testers, you can count on me! Just PM me!
Jackeagle TWRP is also capable of flashing img files
I've Flashed with it some kernels and its safe to use

I've read elsewhere that, opposite to Galaxy S5, our Galaxy S5 mini doesn't push juice out of the usb pins, and that's why they don't need a sealing flap protecting the connector against water contact. No power out, no hardware enabled OTG.
Just my two cents, please correct me if that's not true.
Cheers

My friend have the G800F with the otg enabled kernel and its still waterproof
only when the otg connected it sends voltage
also the S5 neo doesn't have usb cover and its waterproof with otg enabled from factory so dont worry
i think the whole you must cover ports for a waterproof design is moreof a myth, aslong as you allow the device to dry out somewhat after getting wet i doubt very much it will have any effect on the usage - my OLDD moto Atrix got completely drowned and all i had to replace on it was the capacitive buttons at bottom of screen, rest of device worked perfectly after being dried out (in rice as it was not waterproof)
is a year that I try on the web DT2W for my mi4 but could not find anything good ... tried all the kernels, the channel Mi4 and mi3, but none works well ...
I have the model with 2GB of ram and I think that has a different camera from the model to 3GB of RAM and all the kernel I tried does not work the camera ...
I would only DT2W ... someone can help me?
I currently have the 7.2.11.0 MM xiaomi.eu

Maybe your device is either Mi4i or Mi4c, and those two are a completely different device than Mi3/Mi4 (Cancro).

Hmm, I've searched around, and indeed there's a Mi4 with only 2GB RAM released by Xiaomi... Seems like there's no difference other than the RAM amount.
To OP, try ZeurionX. It's currently the latest kernel that supports DT2W (which is added back on request). Activate and set up the feature through Kernel Adiutor app.
I tried every version of the kernel ZeurionX but the camera or does not work or is upside down

I'm going to buy the same version you have. I think we should get in touch with the ZeurionX developer. It should be relatively easy to get this fixed. It's a known problem on several devices.

Just dirty re-flash the current ROM you're using through the recovery without wiping anything, although if you use Xposed you also have to flash it too.

you better flash a firmware that matches your H8296... because it has 6GB of ram, and the H8266 has only 4GB... so, when you go to Developers Options and check the available ram.. you will notice there is a 2GB missing....
so you won't benefit all the 6GB of ram available on your phone, and also it might not work properly!
YOU HAVE TO REFLASH YOUR PHONE AGAIN... use any rom that has the "H8296" model name! THAT WOULD BE SAFE....

What?
The phone is running a 64-bit operating system.
It uses all the ram it has build in.
I also can use every LTE frequency in my country, including LTE band 20.
And if you install aosp on it, you will install the same drivers from the Sony home for every XZ2(C) device.
