it lags when u first boot it, but after settling down its smooth enough
sorry cant make a video, but you can always do a nandroid backup and give it a try
I've tried it and it's definitively slower than CM 10, the thing that lags more is the keyboard indeed on fast writing it misses a lot of letters
THe ICS version was much faster... this one is too laggy.

for the first version of jb its very good imo, it will only get better each week
just flashed matrix 22.5 cfs .. its smoother now

What is the best kernel for this rom ? Air kernel : version voodoo color or blue color +65 fps / Matrix CFS or BFS ???

u dont have to flash the gapps, its included in the rom
kernel - matrix 22.5 cfs works very well, i dint bother trying other kernels
65fps would you use up more battery so i dont use it

I'm italian. I will try this rom if i will have the same problem of he. Can anyone say me the bugs in this rom ? If there aren't i install it immediately!
ive been using it since it came out, i dont see any bugs yet .. but yes the speed is lesser than other jb roms but its not that much of a difference after flashing matrix

That's not true.. I use google now.. And I get traffic(not accurate in Mumbai) updates and estimated arrival times on my daily commutes.. It gives me a popup just before I leave for work and before head back,
Although I think you'll need the modded google maps (navigation)

Thanks for the miui rom.
And for the random bootlop bug i thing is because Erwin p add an tweaks to get this rom faster in the latest build.If you report the rom without using latest erwin.p build i thing all will working.( I have the same bug when i tried to make an personal uptate of your aokp port,with your tuto ( big thanks) after it solved by using as base an previous version of cm9 build.)

Don't replace libs file
I think it random boot loop because device have little ram

After the installation of ROM and lCS GAPPS the phone started rebooting and he continued that for at least 10 times before I got the battery out and then i restored my backup.

Edit: One here is dump noticed its in the Changelog.
Will download and test for you as i preferred miui rom. Is the Lock screen lagging issue been solved yet?
Its booting and working well so far,yes the lock screen lags but not much.Will report back in few hours. :thumbup:

I have tried every MIUI Rom for Wildfire on ICS, they all had lockscreen lag some more then others its a common issue but disabling feedback (Vibration) smoothed it out slightly. This effects not just Wildfire but even Wildfire S etc.
Thats why i asked if it was solved yet.

Yea but infact if we change the lokscreen to the Miui gb it run very well.

Right it boots and there is lag in the lockscreen removing the feedback it doesn't lag that much. But no i can't even load Google Play. flashed G-apps twice but it just FC's. Also there seems to be no SuperUser app, unless the MIUI one now works of course.
Home Launcher works nice which is great. Overall i am quite happy with this build but i will continue to test it further. Nice work OP

Play store working for me without an issue.
Everything seems to work so far,no reboot or boot loop yet.Only the privacy and security setting fc'ing for me,I don't use it anyway

Yep reflashed the rom this time without flashing gapps all working fine and dandy now, Noticed that MIUI's su is working well too so well done OP well done.
any way to enable softkey vibration ?

Don't know but could you say how you get it boot ? ( you used the tweaks ?? )

it booted normally for me without the tweak.i flashed it anyways afterwards..running nice and smooth atm,no reboots or bootloops yet.

Is launcher working OK ? could to open the existing folders example security tools folder and see all the apps therein and start the apps ?
This does not work work for me.
The black strip in notification still present.
For lockscreen lag - repalce with the other locksreen available in theme and diable screen-off animation ---- this helps

yup the launcher is working alright.I can open security tools folder and apps from there as well.
also there isnt any black strip in notification dropdown for me.

For bugs about 3.5.3.
Issue: When you press and hold the home button, the multi task will flash up and then exist.
Solution: Setting-> button -> desktop key -> choose none.
I have already flash back to beta 2, but this should be the way to solve the issue.
For tips about 3.5.3.
- on the music icon, press and hold, then swipe up. You will see a pop-up music control
- there is a battery saving mode in setting >battery. I think this have something to do with tune down cpu freqz to from 1.2 to 1Gz.

1. Uses material stolen from pengus77 without permission
2. Battery drain is higher than any other rom for the o2x
3. Our phone's low amount of available ram in android 4.0+ can't handle resource hungry miui any more. May be smooth at first but apps take a lot of time to open, compared to other roms, and multitasking can't be handled well(mostly due to low ram, again)

Whenever I initially flashed this ROM (which I believe is the same one in the development section), I had issues with skipping whenever I was testing ViPER Audio, which I never had before. More than likely it was the fact that MIUI typically runs slower on lower end devices (unless it was the combination of FX + XHiFi), but after I flashed the Sultan Kernel I didn't seem to have any problems with that.
Along with that, I never tested data on the original kernel, but when I ran into the problem on my current kernel I just went to "Access Point Names" and changed it from ATT - wap.cingular to ATT- Phone. That seemed to clear up any connection issues when using data...
But again, that's assuming that both posts contain the same ROM.
Also, thank you for posting this, I've been dying to get my hands on this version for a while now. Seems like the HTC Vivid is starting to regain a bit of momentum again.

I couldn't get bluetooth to work on this rom (in development section sharing your name on the kernel). I tried Sultan's kernel, and it also didn't have working BT. Anyone else have luck with BT?

It should work now with the new update... I'm on 3.6.21 and everything work fine.
Are you s-on or s-off?
Hi,
Yesterday I've updated my XZR from kitkat to lollipop and there is my few but big problems i have with new system:
1) Almost all my sounds are more quiet than it was on kitkat, especially in alarm clock which is most important for me to be loud
2) Incomming calls when display is off, its ok and contakt pics are over whole display but when somebody call me when i have display turner on, i get only small notification on the bottom of the screen
3) Seems like proximity sensor is not what it used to be...Often when i calling and then call is over, I look on the screen and there are launched some applications or status bar is rolled down or something like that
4) Baterry draining is brutal! When I have my phone in stand by mode almost for whole day (only 5 minutes of calling and some sms) its hard to reach 1 day on battery but in battery manager is Android OS 30% and Google play services 25%....other apps are around 5-10%
5) Camere - there I've 2 problems:
- first of all i can't turn of that chilling sound when i starting camera app (in kitkat i selected vibration mode and it was done, no chilling sound)
- can't choose my own app to open just captured photos (in right bottom corner when i tap on last captured photo, it is always opened by Album app, but i want it to open with Quicpic by default)
Can anyone please help my with those problems? At least some of them Thank you so much
There isn't anyone who can help or explain me, how to deal with those problems?
