First time installing crDroid to your Zenfone 2, or coming from another ROM?

Make sure your Bootloader is unlocked and you're running the latest TWRP
Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your internal SDCard

Adding F2FS would mean you need to format the phone's partitions to F2FS (like you would do with EXT4). The kernel just needs to support the fs, nothing more. The flashing procedure of the ROM would need to take care to format the data (and system?) partition to F2FS

Actually I'm on stock ROM now [emoji23]
But when I tried the ROM the kernel was the one compiled by me (CM stock)

k.... thanks... you r the only one and great tester we have for our G3:good:

wifi works on mines love the rom .problem with mines is I lose signal for a few seconds i don't think its down grading to 4g when theres no lte signal . just got this phone yesterday and i like it a lot . I didn't even know there was light by the earpiece area lol . found that out when I plugged it in to charge . just need to test gps since I use maps for work . a lot of customize options in this rom . maybe to much for me .

I tested this for a couple days as my daily rom, just for the heck of it....
Gravitybox will remove your navbar entirely. It only has to be enabled in xposed.for this to happen. You don't have to enable any gravitybox features, only the module itself. Disabling the xposed module and rebooting fixes the issue immediately.
Also, data apps can't be uninstalled consistently. Occasionally titanium works to remove them, but a large majority of times it causes an instant system crash and reboot. I have a full nandroid and a few days off coming up if you need further testing and/or a logcat. I just need to finish setting up my desktop and I'll be available at your disposal. System apps uninstall much more consistently, but I do still get the occasional crash and reboot after uninstalling a few system apps.
I didn't have an opportunity to test wifi to verify the issue claims mentioned, but the hotspot works fine and the two usually go hand in hand, in my experience.
The mobile data issue after nandroid restore I mentioned before in PM was entirely user error...bad APN settings. Sorry about the confusion

1.4 crashes when restoring app data with helium
I tested 1.4 on my XT1540 Retail US 2GB. wifi worked fine for me.
When I tried to restore my apps data with helium it crashed and rebooted. Did not have that issue with cm-12.1-20150926-NIGHTLY-osprey.

If u need sprint data u should check RR Rom because it is updated with latest tree which has new ril added . In the next update this will also get updated

Please try it,There is very high possibility it'll work..I have T217T ,first time i flashed T217S and it worked...
If it doesn't flash ,try removing asserts from updater script..

So Ive had this running for a few days and it's very good. Sprint continues to show correctly (I don't actually have service so I can't test it). and standby time is fantastic.

I finally rooted my Tab 3 and would like to update to MM 6. I noticed that your build 6.0.1._r42. I'm a novice and my question is not to be funny. I would like to know what the r42 means compared to the other versions listed on XDA without the r42. I see that the process for updating is the same for each. I like all of the features listed in your build. Just want to know if I can safely use it. Thanks for your patience and reply.

Please dont quote OP..
Usually rom in xda must have r42 or r46 but they don't show it its not must..its safe and you should try RR which is much newer r46 ..and this rom will not get updates any soon..And you must use the device stated there

You can use the official twrp for this device which you can install it..use any version but its recommended the newest..Available in twrp manager from playstore or site !!

@matheeus.af inbuilt equalizer crashes and when I activate the one i installed from play store there's a distortionin my headphones, any solution for that?

Problm in sim card contact import...almost all nogut custom rom didnt show sim contact...i need always contacts.vcf file...anyboady knows hw to fix it.

So, the development will continue? It was my favorite rom until jhenrique gave it up.

Save ur contacts on google bro. After every new flash of rom u hav to login ur gmail id so the contacts would also b synced.

Works fine here. What was your step in installing the Rom?

The lockscreen charging info isn't showing current and voltage is always 5.0V

It was late so I slept yesterday. Formatted data just now. It booted up within a minute this time.

I m using it now on my Redmi note 7 ,it was awesome buttery and smooth.
I have an another device Samsung galaxy a8 star
Have the same chipset ,but no custom ROM
Left with an unstable orangefox recovery.
I request you please make a ROM for this Samsung galaxy a8 star device.
I will test this ROM till my phone hard bricked.

I had EvolutionX and i'm trying this rom from two days. For me It Is perfect, good battery Life and Is very smooth.

If I format data, and install this ROM, using OrangeFox, my Lavender still gets encrypted. If I use DFE, I lose fingerprint and pin.
Is it possible to install this ROM without it automatically encrypting my phone ?

Simply format data, wipe system/vendor/cache/dalvik, flash the rom, gapps, reboot

I did that, 3x. I will try one last time again.
One last question ... can new versions in the future be dirty-flashed ? i.e. no need to format data again
* Edit : I just realized I can enter my pin in OrangeFox to decrypt, and be able to do TWRP backup for example. However, when it reboots to system, data is encrypted again. Anyway, will try again to format and wipe everything one more time and see. This Lavender is weird, I had no problems installing Colt on my Poco.

Well, I tried again and it still is encrypted. So I installed Revenge OS, same thing. Is it Google encrypting my phone ? I don't know, as during setup it always comes out with a message that I had formatted data and need to enter the last pin I used to access the phone. Argh. Anyway, will see how it goes.

Though it's out of context from colt os, while setup if you are restoring data from Google cloud, you'll be required to enter your previous pin.
