Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.
With an almost stable source, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpapers (avaliable on ShishuWalls), ringtones, fonts, and themes to bring to your device into a more fresh look and give you always a good experience.
Also, we got our Telegram Group to talk about the ROM, share some love, ideas or even have fun with us!

Q: Bootleggers? Why? What does that even mean?
A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.
Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.
Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.

No OTA update????....beside APN bugs,i don't know if you call "bug" ...manually put ,don't think that's a very big problem....ok,let's try few days ,especially battery SOT(Screen On Time)...

oh also forgot to report that sometimes im getting kind of frame droping in ui but easily fixed by just turning the screen off and on again. overall smooth performance on gaming and multi tasking

Using this now and noticed two problems. Usb otg and brightness adjustment by sliding the status bar does not work, aside from those, it's good to have BL for this device

i flash in f2fs , this rom error, i download all them rom, i flash erro in f2fs, but ini ext4 succes,

bro, download the twrp, after install, reboot to twrp again, and flash rom

chrome works so far so good....awesome system UI....is there anyway to incorporate the old slim recents into the Q recents??....Also when i flashed it bypassed setup wizard and used my last Rom setup for everything which was the coolest thing...saved me like 30min of setup or maybe thats part of the Gapps download?? radio works sim detected....twrp restore of the rom no issues...the Rom colt settings has what everybody else has and new needed options like the lock screen ui...all in all not much lag...ive got all my animations and qs tiles active....full blast music with viper4 mods and a game running all at once...im happy

Known Issues Android 11**
Medium priority:
1. Miracast not working / soft crash - (working on it....new build sooon) fixed in 9/28 build.
2. Vulkan drivers are currently not working, OGL is far superior on kenzo, will eventually look into it.
Low Priority :
AOD might cause a blackscreen, when turning on (low priority to fix), not a freeze you can recover by taping the power btn, I don't think many people are using AOD with LCD screens due to bat drain.

When I set camera storage to SD Card and take photo, I can't see the photo and open the gallery in left side of camera button. Please check.

Yeah that's one (of the many) bugs with Snap Camera, this is why some roms are getting rid of Snap camera in favor of GCam go or stock, I opted to keep Snap cam because of the slow motion / high frame rate recording options, which are still not found in any other camera.

Make sure you are using the latest TWRP or Orange Fox recovery,
format the data partition (note this will erase internal storage too so make a backup), then wipe cache, dalvik cache and System partitions, install the rom zip, install gapps, and magisk 20.4 (if you want root).

Next update is coming soon, should I include the face unlck in the rom?, it currently has a bug where you need to use a black theme on first face setup, but seems to work good after initial setup, I want to build the most stable rom, so I haven't decided if I will include it or not.

OP, please check Gallery Go in this rom is having wierd ordering/sorting. I just like to have newer photo shown first.

yeah! I personally don't use gapps, so they won't be there in any of my builds.
