Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.
With an almost stable source, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpapers (avaliable on ShishuWalls), ringtones, fonts, and themes to bring to your device into a more fresh look and give you always a good experience.
Also, we got our Telegram Group to talk about the ROM, share some love, ideas or even have fun with us!

oh also forgot to report that sometimes im getting kind of frame droping in ui but easily fixed by just turning the screen off and on again. overall smooth performance on gaming and multi tasking
Using this now and noticed two problems. Usb otg and brightness adjustment by sliding the status bar does not work, aside from those, it's good to have BL for this device

i flash in f2fs , this rom error, i download all them rom, i flash erro in f2fs, but ini ext4 succes,

bro, download the twrp, after install, reboot to twrp again, and flash rom
>download pitchblack recovery
>flash. img file and reboot trwp
>format data (will wipe internal. backup first)
>advanced wipe, change file system (only chace-data) to f2fs
>flash f2fs rom, kernel (if needed) then magisk. reboot

A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.
Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.
Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.

Does Bootleggers rom is Chinese? Did somebody check this type of rom safety? I am confused is it really safe to use gmail and mobile banking on Chinese software? I appreciate developers work so please don't misunderstand me. I am only worried about backdoors from China totalitarian regime that could be build in.

Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.
With an almost stable source, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpapers (avaliable on ShishuWalls), ringtones, fonts, and themes to bring to your device into a more fresh look and give you always a good experience.

Q: Bootleggers? Why? What does that even mean?
A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.
Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.
Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.

Known Issues Android 11**
Medium priority:
1. Miracast not working / soft crash - (working on it....new build sooon) fixed in 9/28 build.
2. Vulkan drivers are currently not working, OGL is far superior on kenzo, will eventually look into it.
Low Priority :
AOD might cause a blackscreen, when turning on (low priority to fix), not a freeze you can recover by taping the power btn, I don't think many people are using AOD with LCD screens due to bat drain.

Yeah that's one (of the many) bugs with Snap Camera, this is why some roms are getting rid of Snap camera in favor of GCam go or stock, I opted to keep Snap cam because of the slow motion / high frame rate recording options, which are still not found in any other camera.

Make sure you are using the latest TWRP or Orange Fox recovery,
format the data partition (note this will erase internal storage too so make a backup), then wipe cache, dalvik cache and System partitions, install the rom zip, install gapps, and magisk 20.4 (if you want root).

Next update is coming soon, should I include the face unlck in the rom?, it currently has a bug where you need to use a black theme on first face setup, but seems to work good after initial setup, I want to build the most stable rom, so I haven't decided if I will include it or not.
OP, please check Gallery Go in this rom is having wierd ordering/sorting. I just like to have newer photo shown first.

Known issue
Let's see
I really dig the Google Pixel like experience. Few things aren't working for me and few suggestions -
Back navigation gesture isn't working.
Hardware/capacitive touch button aren't disabled.
There is no smart charge option (putting restrictions on maximum charge level 90%).
Google camera go isn't working, why not replace it with Google camera mod.
Please replace files app by Google's files app.
Please add option of hiding and locking app using finger print in the shapeshift launcher.
Volume option in QS tiles.
Thank you for developing this great ROM. Lastly I hope you would add the option of OTT update soon.

1,2. For Now U need to use Magisk Module (it will disable HW keys and enable Gesture Navigation)

3. Let the ROM source add it
4. Gcam GO works fine here. Its the default camera for now. U are free to install Any other GCam mods

As now its a common issue in A11 roms in Tissot so yeah wait until our devs fix it

Thank you for adding requested features. Gesture is now working and hardware key is disabled.
Smart charging is not working I'm not sure why? Please check.

I have an problem
WIFI SLOW
Wifi = Down: 55Mbs / Upload: 5Mbs
Wifi + BT = Down: 52Mbs / Upload: 47Mbs
Wifi + Location = Down: 15Mbs / Upload: 30Mbs
Wifi + BT + Location = Down: 2Mbs / Upload: 6Mbs
i connet BT with Miband 3
I can't root it with flashing magisk zip, any ideas?
