Fix for being unable to send MMS on Orange

Hi
I have had problems sending MMS messages and have finally found a work around/solution.
The problem seems to be with the APN settings, even though Orange support have verified that the setting are correct they still dont allow MMS to be sent.
The solution seems to be to delete everything and start again so..............
So you need to delete the APN settings first by going to
Settings/Wireless and Network/Mobile Networks/Access Point Names and then selecting your current APN setting. Once you are on the screen with all the settings, press Menu and select "Delete APN"
You should now have no APN's
Now you need to create 2 (two) new ones, one for Internet and one for MMS (these are copied from the orange support site.
http://orangeotm.wdsglobal.com/orang...e&phoneId=3401
and
http://help.orange.co.uk/orangeuk/su...ersonal/199965
First the MMS parameters:-
Setting up the Device
1. On the device, tap the Menu icon (or Applications > Menu)
2. Select Settings > Wireless & networks (or Wireless Controls) > Mobile networks > Access Point Names.
3. Press the Menu key and tap New APN.
4. Select Name, enter Orange MMS and tap OK.
5. Select APN, enter orangemms and tap OK.
6. Enter the user name and password listed below. If no value is listed, leave the field blank.
* User name: Orange
* Password: Multimedia
7. Select MMSC, enter http://mms.orange.co.uk/ and tap OK.
8. Select MMS proxy, enter 192.168.224.10 and tap OK.
9. Select MMS port, enter 8080 and tap OK.
10. If available, select Authentication type then select PAP
11. Select APN type, enter mms and tap OK.
12. Press the Menu key and select Save
The settings are saved and the service is ready for use.
Next are the Internet parameters:-
Setting up the Device
1. On the device, tap the Menu icon (or Applications > Menu).
2. Select Settings > Wireless & networks (or Wireless Controls) > Mobile networks > Access Point Names.
3. Press the Menu key and select New APN.
4. Select Name, enter Orange GPRS WAP and tap OK.
5. Select APN, enter orangewap and tap OK.
6. Select Proxy, enter 192.168.71.35 and tap OK.
7. Select Port, enter 8080 and tap OK.
8. Enter the user name and password listed below. If no value is listed, leave the field blank.
* Username: Orange
* Password: Multimedia
9. Select APN type, enter default and tap OK.
10. Press the Menu key and select Save.
11. If necessary, tap Access Point Names then tap the radio button next to Orange GPRS WAP to set the profile as default.
12. Return to the home screen and launch the browser.
13. Press the Menu key and select More > Settings > Set home page.
