i upgrade my phone from b158 to b839 and then update it to b852
how can i retrieve to b158?? i download the b158 full update pakage , copy it to dload and try force upgrade but it dosent work!
i dont want to root my phone
pls help me

hey,
you need to to a middlestep by flashing a transition pack (b800)..
after flashing this through local update you are able to flash a older firmware (like b609/621)..
to go down to b158 you have to flash again a transition pack (b603) through local update and then the b158..
you can find all information on this forum - by using the search..

I tried this too, but Update from B852 to B800 failed at 95% and it says, Huawei CUST-FAIL, post-update-fail.
Any suggestions?

it works for me!
first i downgrade to b800 then b603 and at last b158
For me its working too, now.
I tried to downgrade with B839 - failed
I tried to downgrade with B830 - failed
I tried with B621 and it worked, installing CUST_FIX for B621.
Then again updated to B839 and B852, now everything is fine here
Im get b852 my phone try used transition pack 800 but failed help

there may have been a damage to your rom. I downloaded b852 from somewhere else installed it installed the rollback again and it worked. Actually I saw many changes after installing b852 again e.g. motion control worked properly or I had the swype keyboard. maybe they did some updates to the rom. be successful!

Hi everyone,
I have lost my 4G mod after i update to B136 from B126 .
I upgrade it like this:
1. I downgrade from B126 to B121
2. I upgrade it to B133
3. Finally I upgrade it to B136
So i thought this problem from the rom so i downgrade to B135 (MyRom) but the problem still as before.
Any suggsstion to solve this problem
I really want my 4G mod back.

Probably you didn't My-RoM installation clearly. If do instruction exactly than you 4G will be installed properly.
Other way is that you should make force installation if you changed ROMs from B126.

I did the update all the way from B621 without losing data, so I'm on B839 beta update no problem.

Yes, local update dont delete your Data.
It says "first you should format your sd card"
Any way without formating sd card?
Is it still beta?
i got a error, i think it said (wrong cust number). i should do a vendor upgrade i guess?
"Step 3. Make sure that there is an UPDATE.APP under the Vendor\hw_eu\dload. Copy the Main package of dload in PC to dload of SD card."

Of course full firmware is better then OTA.
backup your data
make factory reset
force update the full firmware

I'm like you - I hate having to redo my whole phone.
If you're already on B839beta, local update of the full will not erase your data - is like doing an OTA except with the full UPDATE.APP
The difference is very little...it feels smother for me and the battery is better but that may just be from the cache wipe the update does.
I was not on b839 beta before...the data will not erase with b830 and b609 too.

Hi, i actually have B832 rom version, and this rom has some bugs and lagg too much ( app crash ) generally it doesn't work well. I need to change to another rom. I don't have ROOT and bootloader unlock. Can u tell my how downgrade my ROM ? What version should I install ? What first do? Greetings.
try to update to b852..this is the last official version which is stable (better than b805/815/832)..
nearly no bugs (i haven't have one till now)..
search around here inside the forum and you'll get the information needed..

updater on my phone doesn't detect updates to B852
i know..
just do it manually..there should be no data loss or something (you have the option to do a backup)

This is B839. After installing it you'll get the option to do an OTA update to B852
This is official firmware so you don't need root nor bootloader unlocked.
Roll back to old version

Hi,
You can do like, down grade to B800 , then downgrade to B609 like..
1. flash B800 transition pack
2. flash B621 over B800
3. Now u can flash B609 over B621
How downgrade from b853 TO B619 Or B158 Or B212 ?
Since local update option is gone from updater in B853 you need Force upgrade method.
Transfer the extracted ‘dload’ folder to your P7 " B839"
Forced Upgrade: After Step 2, turn your phone off and reboot by holding Vol up + Vol down + Power for a couple of seconds to force start the upgrade.
Once your phone is on B839 you can install b800 transition package and then flash any version you want..
You will lose data after reverting back to b839 from b853..

no need for pc, each step, put the "update.app" in folder "dload" on sdcard, and force update

Hi i have update my p7-l10 ( middle East ) to some European B853 firmware and now I want to return to my original region how can I do that ( i have B853 frimwear middle East on my computer can i flash it directly to my phone )
Now, for about 10 days that this full B852 rom was released, i have tested all 5.1.1 versions, even changing cust region for B853.
Now i can tell you finally we have full stable, smooth 5.1.1 lollipop for our P7

UPDATE: Damn! "Software update failed!"
Will look into ways to manually update.
SECOND UPDATE: My device was hacked a few times before and maybe that's why the update initially failed.
I managed to manually install it.
It's working just fine! The notification panel and the shutdown window look really nice with the blur effect.
Most importantly, battery life is better than 4.4.2

I did this update, before I was on b852 ota, after 2 days from the update all my pictures were erased, i don't know what is the reason, maybe the update is the reason. So be careful.
