Update broke WiFi and Bluetooth - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have had a Z3c for a while, however I haven't used it in some time because I was using Verizon. I recently switched back to T-Mobile and performed the Lollipop upgrade. It upgraded fine, however now my WiFi and Bluetooth will not turn on. I have seen a few other people report this issue, but most just say they ended up sending it in for repair. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this and had any success in fixing the issue? I have already tried downgrading to previous versions with no luck.

T-Mobile G1 Bug & Issue Questions...

This is not a thread that im complaining but I need to know if im the only one experiencing these bugs and issues . I love the Tmobile g1 but im also fed up with a lot of problems . I think the biggest issue is on the network, I dont think its a OS problem anymore Im pretty sure Im not the only one with the problems because I see these issues posted on google, xda, and other forums, but its appears lately no one is saying anything about these issues and bugs so I want to make sure that im not the only one experiencing these problems.
-Dropped Calls
-Sometimes no internet service
-Sometimes not even being able to call out or send text messages [message not sent]
(usually fixed by restarting my phone)
-I use to not receive notifications (email and texts) but ive fixed that by installing dgAlert.
I called tmobile reguarding these issues and they had me replace my sim card but im still getting problems. I received excellent service, they are calling me back on tuesday to help me out more (they re-registered me on the network but that didnt help either).
*Yes, my g1 is rooted but I highly doubt that is the issue.
The G1 is truely a good release but before they go making another phone (HTC Magic) why havent they took the times to prefect the g1.
Thanks for reading and you sharing your issues or recomendations would be greatly appreciated.
I located this one post also http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=501146
-Dropped Calls: I used to have this problem quite a bit. I switched to 2G only which seemed to correct the issue. I had a flurry of problems where the 3G network was out sporadically for 2 days and since then I have not had a dropped call with 3G active. I am hoping this was an update to the network and the dropped calls a thing of the past. Not betting on it though.
Edit: submitted by accident
Sometimes No Internet: Except the outage noted above none that I know of.
No notifications: no
Can not make calls: no

[Q] Google Voice Over 3G issue

Anyone has the same problem as I do with Google voice over 3G?
1) problem signing in
2) problem sending message out
3) problem receiving message
4) problem refreshing inbox
currently on Enom 2.14.1 on Rogers Network
been using it no problem for the past couple months but problems started 2 weeks ago
everything seems to be fine on wifi
no one has the same issue?
I'm having the same issue on Fido. Works fine on wifi.
It started about three weeks ago.
yes same here, check the comments in the market. maybe it was the latest update that messed it up, not sure. I went back a few versions. Although it's not entirely the same as it use to be. Personally I think it started with the version that had the neat widget.

Nexus 6 32gb calling issue

Hi, I am new here if I am in the incorrect thread or the issue has been mentioned really appreciated to know the link.
I just got a Nexus 6 (new) everything is working fine until I did a call. I would hear a lot of static and crackling. Sometimes it would stop, but it would come back. I know it shouldn't be my network since I upgraded from a Motorola X 2013 model and didn't have this issue. The newest OS I am running on is the 5.1.1 android. I know its not the speakers since I watched a video and that didnt show the issue. Its basically via phone calls. I am running on the T-Mobile network. Would this be a hardware issue, software issue? I am concern since I just got the phone if their is a fix really appreciate it.

well, it very well could be your local network. try a different tmobile apn, thats all i could recommend. the moto x is a different phone, and you probably were using a different apn.

Sometimes when you are in between two lte towers they can conflict and call quality can significantly drop (in also might be local t-mobile issue).
The easy fix is to go to Settings --> More --> Cellular networks --> switch off VoLTE
It does put phone in HSPA connection mode, but for most part it's good, if you don't watch videos...
I believe it's the whole volte (as mentioned by monster Mary) I lowered it to 3g and I did a call not a single static will update if their is still issues thanks for the helpful feedbacks guys.

Speakerphone issue after Nougat update

Hi,
I recently updated my T-Mobile HTC One M9 to Nougat. It is not rooted, unlocked, or modified in any way. After the update, I noticed two issues:
1. When on a call, speakerphone seems to fail about 95% off the time. The person can hear me, but I can't hear them. If I turn off speaker phone, it is perfectly fine.
2. If my phone screen is turned on, sometimes I cannot hear calls. I am 90% certain this only happens when connected to bluetooth via my car.
Long story short, I had this phone replaced a few days ago due to the vibration motor no longer functioning. The replacement arrived with Android 6.0. I confirmed speakerphone worked immediately. I then proceeded to install a plethora of updates until I was back on the latest 7.0 version provided by T-Mobile. I did not install any third party apps. I am experiencing the same two issues above. I think similar issues were occurring on the Nexus 6P, at least in regards to speakerphone issues after Nougat updates.
Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? Anyone have a fix?
I currently disabled VoLTE (Voice over LTE). My first speakerphone test worked - so we'll see if that is the temporary fix for now.

'Emergency calls only' signal drop outs on recently updated phone to EVA- L09C40B364

Hello,
My P9 (which was bought from O2 UK that I use on GiffGaff) recently received the Nougat update. Before this update my phone worked absolutely fine with no issues with either wifi or mobile signal. Since this update however, my wifi signal is significantly weaker than it was before, but more annoyingly, my phone is CONSTANTLY dropping signal.
I cannot say how often this drop out occurs, as sometimes there will be only a minute or so between drops, and at others much longer. The drop outs themselves can last from as little as 5 seconds to 30+ seconds.
Before we go on, my girlfriend has a P9 Lite (also from O2 running on Giffgaff) which has not been updated yet and she experiences none of the same issues that I do. Her phone will be at full signal whilst my phone next to hers will be on 'Emergency Calls Only'. Again, I never had these issues prior to this update (I believe I updated the phone on Thursday or Friday night).
Additionally I am having loads of issues with notifications which no longer seem to appear, my main concern however is the signal issues.
What can I do?
Thanks,
Sammy.
After this update I'd a lot of problems of connectivity until I realized that my phone wasn't able to read its own IMEI number. Check it on settings->about your phone
I followed some of the tutorials about installing Nougat with no problems and I got to fix it.

Thanks, I checked and it appears my phone has no issues with reading the IMEI number, so that doesn't seem to the be the problem.
What exactly did you do to resolve your connectivity issues?
Thanks
