Two way call recording doesn't work for me (XT1068 India) with any app, any audio source.

Not sure why, but i am also from India. Xt1068 model and works for me. Both sides. Is it that the app icon is red background with green phone logo?

Skype 2.0 for Froyo

Does anyone know how to modify the OS to report that the phones one of the very poor selection the lazy people at skype could be bothered to make it work with?
Or would it require a mod to the app itself (same question who knows how to do this?)
Thanks in advance
Maybe modifying the build.prop? Just a guess!

Yep. Can confirm. Crashes a couple of seconds after you hit Sign in.
The problem is that the contained native code .so's seem to contain NEON instructions which the Tegra 2 can't execute.

If everyone took that attitude, XDA forums and the like wouldn't exist because we'd all be sat waiting for HTC / LG / Skype etc to update software...
These forums exist because the developer community can usually make things work better than the software vendors or before the software vendors.
This has already been hacked to work on the Galaxy S and S2.......

app for recording calls

Hi,
Is there an app that is able to record calls on the o4x?
Isn't that already possible? With voice recorder?

Why don't people atleast TRY to find something before actually posting for help.
Obviously you would try to maybe type in "call recorder" or something in the play store?

Working call recording via CallRecorder (NO ROOT REQUIRED)

So today I have downloaded an app called CallRecorder by SKVALEX from Play Store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sMSwxLDEsImNvbS5za3ZhbGV4LmNhbGxyZWNvcmRlciJd
I have tried the MOD posted in the forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2200008&highlight=call+recording
but I could not get it to work so I thought I would share an alternative method that worked for me.
So after downloading the app I went into preferences and tried the different settings until I found one that worked on my phone.
To get the call recording to work, go to app preferences and:
1) Under device select "Other"
2) Set Record Calls from "Standard Android Api"
3) Set Call recording format to: "WAV"
4) Go to Standard Android API preferences and in Audio source choose: "default"
and voila now you should be able to record calls on your device.
My phone is rooted but this method should work on both rooted and unrooted devices.
Does it record both sides when you use Bluetooth?

It should record everything. There are a lot of options in the app settings menu so you might have to try a different setup if the one in my post does not work for you. You can always purchase the app, try if it works in the 15 min refund period and if it doesn't just refund it back.
I personally have not tested it with bluetooth
This app needs root! Or not?

I have bought this app and I use it with my galaxy s2, but when I use Bluetooth, it records only the other side. If this app could record both sides with Bluetooth on xperia z, then it could be a good reason to buy it.

Works on Xperia z (non root) during call.
I can hear myself and the person on the other line
With latest version 1.3.5 full of the app
No need to change any settings.

thanks, but seems not working for me, either cant record anything or just my voice
Sony has implanted a "built in" call recorder, It was desactivated but it will be available with my new rom
the OP's settings works for me but the caller's voice is much softer than mine.
Am rooted and running CM10.1 for those who are interested.
The app did ask for root permission when I used it.
Hope this helps...

This work 100% on Xperia Z, I will test and all is perfect
i thought auto call recorder was a paid for app?
Skvalex CallRecorder works perfectly on my stock phone 10.1.A.1.434. Can hear both caller and myself clearly. Somebody care to check if it works on newest firmware 10.1.1.A.1.253. (After upgrading my Razr I to JB it stoped working and no downgrade path, forcing me to by a new phone. Thus on XZ now, happy with that, but I don't want it to happen again.)
Edit: CallRecorder works perfectly on .253 Swedish ROM. I have root and the app says "granted root access" but I don't think that root access is necessary.
Works on stock, no root .253

[Q] Cyanogenmod Moto x Sprint/Ting but banner says verizon

So I have a Moto x that I bought from ting. I unlocked the bootloader through the Motorola website. Then I flashed a nightly Cyanogenmod 11 room through TWRP custom recovery. All works well through ting. But the unlock screen and notification tray say Verizon wireless.
Anything I can do about That?
Also does anyone know when active notifications or touches or control might be added? Or can I add them myself?

What's ting? And good luck with seeing any of the Moto-specific apps getting added to CM. Grab them off the Play Store, I have no idea of they'll work or not.

The play store tells me they are not compatible with my device. Ting is an mvno carrier that uses Sprints network. When you call them during normal business hours a live human answers the phone, and the pricing is quite good. I highly recommend them.
Maybe I will go back to stock Android 4.4 and simply have root. Now I have to figure out how to do that.

Call recording

Are you using call recording apps? Is yes tell me name. I'm trying to find working app but always something not working. For example app didn't record person that I talk.
Wysłane z mojego Moto G (5S) Plus przy użyciu Tapatalka
The same happened to me! It recorded using the mic (as if there were no call) and I could hear only my voice and the surrounding noise.
Thought it was something with the app. Gave it 1 star.
Had been using another app and had several recordings. Even this app doesn't record the other person's voice!
Sometimes I have another issue: when I beginning talk through phone and callX for example start recording it looks ok, but after 15 seconds app stops recording me or other person.
Wysłane z mojego Moto G (5S) Plus przy użyciu Tapatalka
Has anyone else also faced the same issue? Any update? It isn't working on my phone even after the update.

Well my friend there is another app for that which is working absolutely fine and great for me but it is paid, you can also get the mod/cracked version of that app "truecaller" in premium it gives additional benefits including call recording which is working fine with all modes of call.

I don't have problem with paid apps in general but I don't like truecaller which mandates granting access and saving on their servers.
I'm waiting for Oreo which is supposedly be rolling out soon and root it after that. Thanks btw
