I have successfully gotten root access on my samsung exhibit 4g via zerg method but i tried to flash the recovery image(both cwm and twrp) and both failed. i tried both flashing from recovery and pushing the recovery.img through the android terminal and those did not work. The flash through the stock recovery came up with "E: Signature Verification Failure" errors and the terminal method didn't come up with errors but did not apply it when i went to the recovery. I would really appreciate some help btw it's the original exhibit with 3 buttons.
Everything in this forum is for the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G-T679. Not sure where you can get help with your phone.

I thought they were grouped together, the galaxy exhibit root method worked for it so I thought the ROMs and recoveries would too

Zergrush is not phone-specific. ROMs and recoveries are.
i dont know whats going on.
i flashed twrp 0.3 and it flashed ok. and yes i did root my device. supersu is on it.
when i boot into recovery the samsung galaxy gear logo is taking 3/4 of the screen while the twrp is squashed at the top and its so difficult to see/do anything.
pls help
Simple. Read the twrp thread and start again

Fixed. Null flash successful. Thanks.
I'm having a bit of trouble trying to get a Custom recovery working in my phone. It's a SM-N920C International (UAE) version. If I flash Arther's Philz Recovery or TWRP both of them get stuck in "Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Recovery is not SEandroid enforcing". Usually it should start right away but even waiting like 10 minutes it doesn't start. I can use the phone normally and even flash stock roms with ODIN. It just doesn't want to start any Custom Recover I throw into it. Any thoughts?

Oops, I've forgot that! I'm on Marshmallow
Btw I realized that I was installing LP recoveries in MM so I flashed the lastest TWRP build and now it works. The new problem is that I managed to root it but even if SuperSU works I can't manage to modify system files and busybox doesn't work either. I've flashed Dr.Ketan experimental MM root over Supersu 2.67 (Systemless root) because it didn't worked.. so maybe there's a conflict there. I'll report tomorrow.
Fixed with a beta of twrp

Hello , can't describe how annoyed and mad I am right now.
Yesterday i soft bricked my phone trying to get xposed on my rooted android, BRICKED
Today got a phone to lend from my brother, tried to get xposed on it, BRICKED
The first phone is a note 3 which had a root but no custom recovery, the second one is a galaxy s4 with a root and custom recovery but i can't boot into my custom recovery. I could get into it when the phone was still on via rom manager and flashed the xposed zip file, but after installation of that file it got stuck on the samsung logo and now I cant into any recovery mode, when press the commands it show recovery mode etc in the top left corner but after that turns off (except when i release the buttons then it boots normally but gets stuck on samsung logo)
I did every step right as described in your threads but now im stuck with 2 bricked phones and have no idea what to do.
PLEASE help.

If it is stock ROM you need to deodex it first, check out this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3113463
What version of Android is on the Note 3? If it's 5.1 and up there is a working version of Xposed without deodexing first

Stick ROM means what the phone came with which I'm guess is what you have. Flash the Xposed uninstaller in recovery to be able to boot your phone normally, then check out the thread I posted to you earlier on how to deodex your ROMs

Hi guys, my name is Ali Reza. I have a Samsung Galaxy SII I9100. When I first got this phone, I rooted it and wanted to flash a custom recovery to flash ROMs, but I couldn't. I tried everything.
1) Flashable Zip File
2) Odin
3) Flashify and other apps
4) Heimdall Suite
But nothing worked for me
I managed to install CWM Touch Recovery using the kernel for Android 5.1.1 but I can only flash ROMs whose android version is 5.1.1. I want to flash Android 7.1 that is the Lineage OS on my device. For that I require TWRP recovery. I searched for this on all websites. Some say that before flashing TWRP recovery I require TWRP kernel. I searched for the kernel but couldn't find it. Some say that before flashing the latest version, we need to flash the old version, and using that recovery we have to update TWRP to the latest version. I tried that but I failed. Plz help me install TWRP on my device or plz provide me the kernel for android 7.1.1. Thank You

Have you tried unchecking the "reboot" option in odin when flashing twrp and then manually power off and boot directly to recovery with 3 buttons combo? Make sure you boot first to twrp rather than android. Tell if it worked
Thanks for ur help guys... but I discovered a method to install TWRP. I flashed the diya kernel recovery in download mode instead of philz... And then I followed all the steps... thanks

Hi Aly
I am having exactly the same problem you outlined above ...... What was the answer you worked out? What is a "Diya kernel .... instead of philz" .... Help, still confused?
Hi, can you tell me where I can find this diya kernel (googled it... in vain) since I'm also struggling to update my i9100 from 4.1.2 to Lineage 7.1 ? Much appreciated

He probably means "Siyah Kernel", but anyway, have you guys tried this guide?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/help/guide-tutorial-samsung-galaxy-s2-i9100-t3538601/
Or try this short one i made, with all links needed except for Odin of course

Guys, those guides are for galaxy s2 i9100 not i9000.
