[Q] Help with this...

Hi friends, I want to install [ROM][17-1-2013][4.1.2]CustoNexus v0.2 PORT [All-in-one:CM- PA-AOKP] by dexter (you're awesome man! )
I understand all the steps to do it, but, I have a question.. After installing, how I can go back to 4.0.3 stock version?
Sorry for the question, I'm a noob :crying:

First of all this should be called something like, hos to unroot and not help with this...
Second of all, try to search forum the answer could be right in front of you...
To unroot you go to then supersu app, go to settings and do a complete unroot..
Then you are back to fully stock..

Are you joking ?? Really ?? Did you understand him ?? He asked how to back to stock after flash a custom rom , not how to unroot .

I don't own 4X HD , but as I know , back up from recovery or with PC by adb . Then flash the rom , when you want to back just do a restore ,, but do not forget to do a factory reset without it you will get a bootloop .
BUT I'M NOT SURE I DO NOT OWN A 4X .

If you want to go back, either restore your stock backup or reflash a kdz.

I install the rom yesterday... Work fine but, this morning I reboot my phone and stayed on this screen

I install v10h via kdz and everything work fine. Tonight will download the newest version for try!

Installation:
You need to:
1)Boot into Recovery.
2)Clear Data/Factory Reset.(Don't need to if coming from Sammy ROM - Thank you Jayc1980)
3)Install The .Zip (it will take some time for the bar to move but yes, it is working...)

I will confirm this installs and seems to work fine...oh and thankyou.
Installed WITHOUT wip but only as im at work with no wifi as I always install my apps fresh from market after a wipe.
I will wipe tonight...but its working, working without wipe, just to put peoples minds at ease
EDIT: I will agree with thise above....post more info and screen shots. I know its the same screens we have seen before but it helps people decide and to put there minds at rest that its the rom they are after.

Smells like an unfinished rom to me that really should not be in development .
In other words nothing in this post sells the rom to me as one to try .

Finnally I installed wanam's 4.2.2 and works perfect ! battery after 14 hours is 78 %... Recomend to try Wanam:good:

hi, i want to install cmw recovery on my mini by odin, som i download everything what i need and install it, it seems to be ok, bud when i turn off the phone, recovery wont start, just shows samsung logo. Recovery mode just dissapeared

Hmmh... try reflashing it. Press Home+Power to enter recovery.

Or try older cwm versions. When i tried to flash custom recovery to my friends htc one xl it was like that, too: newest version didnt work, one version older booted but i couldnt do anything until one ver older now it works

I have this galaxy mini that was initially stack on Safe Mode when i acquired it. So i flashed it using Odin and everything was back to normal. Then i rooted and tried to install a custom recovery. The root process was successfull but when i flash the recovery zip it shows a distoted image as shown by the image. I have tried even older cmw recoveries but still get the same results...please help.

Hmmh... Wierd.. Try flashing using Odin. Also make sure you're on Gingerbread.

I have flashed odin again successfully. Rooted the device and when i flash the cmw, the same problem is still persistant...couldit be a problem with my screen.

Do you think, that screen can do something else without displaying pictures and answer to our fingers? And, I think, it does not need to answer to touch in booting time. Then case in CPU or in ROM or in recovery.

We AT&T users are still on MF3, does anyone know what changes have been made? Between MF3 and MF7

my phone is dead right now..... water is gone in.... first bad surprise.... second bad one is i can't unroot it..... the third is samsung noticed me that the phone is imported from "unknown region" and i bought it from reseller that indicate original ITV (italian).....
now I'm requesting to the seller to give me a new one... with samsung original warranty....... so now i can't update it...

i'm assuming this update hasn't reached at&t in the U.S. yet? also, did it break root for any of you guys that did get the update?

MH2 was downloaded from sammobile.com. Version downloaded was for Nordic countries.
required to re-root after flashing.

ensure the device drivers are been installed in your Windows
the device has to be in download mode. volume down + home button + power button
COM should be showing in the 2nd row box on the top left corner of oDIN

Worked! Tried it on another computer with the latest USB drivers from here and Odin 3.04. Probably my problem was in USB drivers that Kies installs. Thanks!

I have an International S4 Active, which apparently come from France with MF5 on it. I can flash the UK (BT) MF5, and that works. Any MF7 based rom I try to flash ends up getting 95% of the way through and failing with "Ext4 error". I have tried Australia and UK MF7 images without success. Has anyone else successfully upgraded an MF5 device to MF7? I can see that it should work for a UK(BT) device according to this url:

Maybe I should've bought a UK device, but when I bought it off eBay it said it was an "S4 Active International" .. *shrugs* I was surprised to see it boot up for the first time in French.

New OTA Update C432B565

Got a FULL update by ota 1,51GB sized.
Log says better stability and improvements, some bugfixes and google security patches.
Not installed yet.

and C432B564 for dual sim, update size 213 mb, same changelog.

i'm installing right now ... could you please tell me that is it has light painting mode ?

Just installed B564, doesn't have light painting mode, but it has a "Professional Mode" where you can manually set ISO, AF, aperture, etc.

Haven't tried it yet, but flashing supersu from twrp should work.

In 550 dual sim and 560 install TWRP 3.0.2 by ADB in fastboot mode and then first install SuperSu 2.64.zip version and after 2.69.zip version in TWRP mode.

I received the OTA whilst on B551, haven't installed it as of yet.
Edit:
By tapping "Check for updates" you'll get the OTA posted above whilst on B551, though if you tap "Menu", then "Download latest full package" you'll get the option to download the full 1.51GB ROM update:

Btw the new professional mode could be used as light painting since you could adjust how long the shutter stays open. So yea try it.

i can't install the new ota update, is it because i have an unlocked bootloader ?

Well, i do have unlocked bootloader too but i successfully installed the b565 , try to download the full rom and not only the update itself, to download full rom just press menu, and press search for the latest update . . Well i was stock when i installed the rom, only unlocked bootloader.
