Received my Zuk Z1 with a preliminary version of CM-12.1.
How root it?
Tried to install supersu-2.4.6-update.zip into the stock cm recovery but install fails due to signatures.

No problem to create a nandroid backup to you, but I need to root before

of course. i'm waiting for mine...i think it will come with zui though.
there used to be built in root on cyanogenmod, i'm sure someone knows...

where are you bought the ZUK? which side? is function normally regards bands? I come from Slovenia and I have doubt about bands...

Sorry, but eventually I returned to the seller.
He saw clearly that it was a final version of hardware with a preliminary version of software.
I'll buy when it goes on sale the stable version.

Gosh! We missed a real chance to get the codename & unofficial firmware links directly from Cyanogen.
Anyway, please post it when you'll get the device again :good:

Has the annoying "cm preview" message at bottom-right dissapeared?

I received ota today, but i'm at work without charger, and only 20% of battery.
The ota says that I need almost 50%, 48,4 Mb of update.

Sure, I try to update at dinner.

Well, I have a problem with the ota.
Starts to apply, reboot and stuck in cm recovery.
I try to instal manually, and fails. Get an boot error, and says to reflash....
I have unroot , but not work.
Any idea?

How i have to do update- local or with 3 buttons

just make a /dload directory in your internal storage, put the zip with update there and update it through local update

Well if you have time you can do it like me... I had a link with full B200 but lost it so I installed B170 from here - if you are on B350, you probably already used this method - and then updated to B200 via OTA and then to marshmallow... It takes a while though.

please, i am on b200 and created the dload folder in internal storage. the update incremental is relevated by updater but when restart in recovery "the ota don't find update.zip".... what can be? thanks
edit: solved inserting dload folder in external sd card

yes but only temporarly... at reboot it launches again. that log must be permanently disabled for privacy!

remember it´s a beta for testing purpose.. I think you can´t disable it to 100% because it collect information about crash, performance

you have to flash the update.zip, not extracted update.app.. since this isn´t a full release!
In a bootloop you have to flash via fastboot the extracted boot.img, recovery.img and system.img from b200 full to get your device back to work

Can someone posts screenshots from battery stats.

i see no updates on official COS site, are you the only one lucky man that recieved the ota?
BTW, you should have installed the cyanogen recovery to flash the ota

No it can t be flashed with twrp, just tried and couldn t. if anyone has any idea about how we could install this ota, please tell us.

I have L29C567B183 and I flashed this rom B211. It booted up however many functions does not work properly for example I cannot get into developer option, backup and restore will reboot the phone, fingerprinting does not work, .... I flashed Kangvip B186 without problem. I do not think it will work properly on your phone unless your firmware is up to date (B211).

There is no Kangvip B183 for Mate 9. Only Kangvip B175, B186, and B211. I am on C567B183 and I flashed KangVip B186 without problem. Since you are on B130 you should start with Kangvip B175 and see if it works.

got it on adb type: adb shell settings put global enable_freeform_support 1 and reboot then press recent an select square button next to lock app button

nougat freeform move can also be achieved by downloading Root Essentials, scrolling to the interface tab, and selecting freeform mode..

you must have base rom B211 for flash rom kangvipB211. I think you must rebrand to rom china and update ota to B211.

I have C567B183 I flashed this rom (B211). It booted up but some functions did not work properly. However I just flashed the boot image from Kangvip 186 and everything works fine.

Maybe auras76 thinking ahead on RomAur 1.6??

What was your previous build number ? I'm curious, cause I just updated my B160 to B370 manually. Is there any difference between the 370 and 380 builds ?

In open setting there isn't the App twin option.

Yesterday i search for update and i see OTA notification (370MB) with relative log
(Sorry for english)

I pushed b380 to system updater in FF and it's downloading, I'll let you know if it works soon enough.

But I have not heard anyone who has updated via OTA to the B381 with any version.
It was my initial question

Guys, I need some help. I need to flash the stock kernel in order to update OTA, but I can't find it anywhere... I tried to flash the one in the b381 update but I had problems unlocking the phone since the code was not recognised, and had to remove it with adb. Could anyone give me a link to the b371 stock boot.img and recovery.img? My internet connection sucks and I can't dowload tho whole firmware to extract the images
