[Q] Using a secondary language with MoreLocale 2 - G 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
this might be an awkward question, but is it possible to use non-english as the fallback language when using MoreLocale 2 (or any other app)?
My mother got a Moto G (XT1068) for Christmas but she speaks only Hungarian and a little bit of German. Motorola is not present in Hungary anymore so they don't include Hungarian in their phones. Using MoreLocale 2 I can set most of the phone (Google Apps) to Hungarian, but Motorola includes their own Phone, Calendar, Messaging and Gallery apps which revert to English as soon as I set the locale to Hungarian (even if the phone was set to German before - which is supported by the Motorola Apps).
So my question is basically: is it possible to set the locale to Hungarian while keeping German as the "fallback" language if an app doesn't support Hungarian?
Or as a related question: does Cyanogenmod (latest snapshot for the phone: cm-12.1-20151117-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO1K5-titan) support the XT1068 fully (Dual SIM functionality, etc.) and does it have Hungarian language support?

According to Wikipedia, Hungary's official language is Magyar. And yes, it is included in both cm12.1 and cm13. They are pretty stable ROMs and everything works as expected, including dual Sim capabilities.

Thanks @kostelo! Yes, the language is "magyar" which is locale "hu" and country code "HU".
Maybe I'll try to install CM12.1 and hope everything works fine.

Bump* I would like to get answer to his initial question actually, is it possible to set up a fallback language for More Locale 2 when it can't translate certain elements?

Adding Languages to a Rom

Hello Everyone,
I have an old HTC Dream (T-Mobile G1), and as the time goes by new versions of Android are released and those versions make my phone slower.
So, and because I want to have my phone the most updated possible, I've been searching for fast and stable roms for it.
And, by luck, I've found the Froyo by Laszlo rom which works great (since all gingerbread roms are too slow). There is only one problem, the rom includes all kind of languages but not the one I want, Portuguese, and since I've got problems to understand English well it is a little bit hard to me.
Can someone please help me adding the Portuguese (and/or French) language to this rom ?
Thanks in Advance,
Luis Da Costa
adding languages
i also wonder about adding language possibility to a framework in a custom rom too. i have a korean rom base and while i was modding, i saw that the containing language database only includes korean, japanese, chinese, portuguese and english.
i'm looking for a way to import languages like turkish, german, french etc.
can anybody help or show me the way of this experience's possibility?

[Q] Add more languages?

Is there anyway to add more language's (missing Finland)? I thought it doesn't matter where i buy my device it would always have all languages available in settings but they weren't. I bought my device from UK and i'm stuck with eng language. I'm almost perfectly fine with eng display language but I was wondering if there is a trick to get fin languange from settings. Maybe another rom includes my native language and localization?

[Q] Moto G XT1068 System Languages?

I guess as the phone is brand new, I couldn't find an answer to following question:
Which system / input languages can be set on the Moto G Dual Sim XT 1068 (sold in Europe, e.g. amazon co.uk)?
Or, more specific, can you chose German? Because AFAIK German wasn't available on the old Moto G Dual Sim.
Of course you can set it to German, pretty much all popular languages should be available. There should be about 46 languages to choose from if I'm not mistaken. I'm using my XT1068 in German

[Q] How to install other system languages on Moto G?

Hi,
I'm from Portugal, and I've bought this week this awesome new phone...until now I'm very satisfied.
There's just one problem...the phone hasn't portuguese from Portugal language on the system, just brazilian portuguese, which is in many things different than portuguese from Portugal. Every app that I install from the Google Play Store is automatically installed in brazilian portuguese (for example: Facebook), and I can't change it to portuguese from portugal...that irritates me a lot.
I don't know why there is no portuguese from Portugal system language available, this phone is a huge success here in Portugal.
Is it possible to install other system languages, like portuguese from Portugal in this phone, WITHOUT doing root?
I don't want to root the phone because of the warranty.
Or is it possible to install the apps with another language (portuguese from Portugal) than the system language? In Facebook it's impossible, no portuguese from Portugal language available, because of the system language from the phone (just the system languages are available to chose).
Any help is welcome. Thanks.
Greetings from Portugal.
You Can use SwiftKey Keyboard In Which You can Install other Languages in Keyboard not in System, it will help you to type ur language...

[Q] Add Right-To-Left language

Hi everyone!
I have verizon moto x device (xt1060), with 4.4.2 android firmware (locked bootloader).
Is there any way the to add RTL (Right-To-Left) language to the system languages list? (like persian, hebrew, etc..)
When I use 3rd-party apps such as "morelocale 2", The result is incomplete: Most of the text remains in English, and also display problems related to the Right-To-Left thing.
I know that in xt1052 version (European), those languages are exist by default in the system languages list.
(It's even possible to install official firmware of this model on my device?)
Thanks!
