Sound only with earphones plugged in Mirek lolipop v6.1 - Teclast X98 Air 3G

Hi
I have the C5J6 64b model. When I click on the volume button it sounds on the speakers and the alarm in the clock app sounds too.
But when I play a game or see a youtube video I have to plug the earphones.
I tried installing soundabout app and "force" the app to use the speakers as the primary sound output. The sound comes from the speakers when I play, music,video.... when I use this method. But I have to open the app and change the sound output to "earphones" if I want to plug my earphones so it´s annoying.
It´s like the system recognizes that I have earphones plugged in and can´t use the speakers.
Anyone have this problem too?
Thanks.

Nope .... try make clean install .
Maybe is a hardware problem ....

No sound via speakers

Hi all,
Today I found out my speakersound is not working properly.
The external speaker on the back works fine but when I start Walkman and want to play a song there is no sound.
I believe that my phone thinks that the headset is plugged in.
I have tried the following:
- Reflash stock
- Factory reset
- On/off device
It just doesnt work.
Anyone got a solution before I get my bud to a repair centre?
please use service test
Done, there is absolutly no sound. Only when i really plug my earphones in.
Also a funny thing. Normaly when you open FM radio without earphones it ask yo plug them in. But with me there was no popup this tells me that there is a problem with my 3.5mm jack
Hey a friend had the same problem with his HTC phone. he downloaded the app Headphone blocker (or similar) from the play store and that worked. maybe you'll use it temporarily?

oh,ok.. by the way i had the same problem but i just had to plug in the headphone for short and then it worked fine and the problem never came again. or you shut down the phone for a while?
tried it all.
Shut down lay it away for an hour. Plugged earphones in and put it way for a while..
I really dont know what to do..
Also; it is only with "media" files becasue i hear when someone calls me or sent me a text message. Changing volume is something i can hear to. I just need to reset so that it is not in headset mode any more
hm.. okay.. and where exactly comes the problem? only with walkman or also with youtube or instant buttons or something like that? and can you hear something, if you go to dialer and *#*#7378423#*#* then go to service test and loudspeaker?
oops okay saw it too late ^^ these are the same "symptoms" like I had. If you plug in your earphones, the music for examples functions, right? and if you let the music play and you plug them out while letting the music play it stops?
The problem occurs with everything that uses the speaker. For example youtube. There is absolutly no sound unless i use my headphones. The same is for walkman, apollo and many others.
The service tests dont work. Since i cant hear a thing unless i use my headphones
No the music dont stop when i unplug my headphones
Okay.. but it is loudless.. that's quite difficult ^^ if it thinks the headphine is in did you try to kind of clean the headphone jack connection by blowing into it e.g.?
Okay; very very late response but from me.
I've tried a lot of solutions but a very very weird one worked from me. My speakers are functioning again.
What I did.
After the response above I just blowed a bit air in it. I just, yes very weird, licked the 3.5 mm plug that goes inside in the phone and played a song.
When I removed it the Walkman stopped playing. I thought it was me that I pressed a button or something. So I plugged it back in pressed play and after two songs I removed my earphones and yet again, the music stopped.
WOW it worked!
So I pressed play again and Krewella played through my speaker again!!
So, licking it seems to work? :silly:
Probably because of dust between the contacts inside the hole.
Good you got it sorted

Query regarding headphone jack and audio output

Hello everyone.
I have a wierd issue and I have no clue if its hardware or software related. The problem is when I plug my earphones in (Sennheiser CX215), the audio and all the sounds comes out through the external speaker instead of the earphone. It doesnt always happen, sometimes the earphones would work without any hiccup, no crackling or bad sound.
I checked the jack for any loose connections and found none.
However I must add that rebooting the phone solves the sound problem whenever it occurs. So I must be guessing its a software bug (right??)
Anyways, I wanna know if anybody is having any audio or headphone jack problems ??
EDIT: And yes, I plugged the earphones all the way in. And the bootloader is unlocked without any rooting. Im currently using ''sound about'' app to divert the audio to earphones. A tad annoying
Using CX-180 with Moto G 2014, working absolutely fine. No issues here. Sound is clear and loud.
Did you test other headphones? Do a factory reset and try again.
The audio is clear and without any distortion when it works. The issue is all the sounds and i mean all the sounds comes out through the external speakers even when earphones are plugged in. I think the OS fails to recognize if the earphones are plugged in.
And another problem is that I have no other earphones xD.
Let me try a factory reset and then Ill report back. *sigh* all my data down the drain

I had the exact same problem with the headphones I use with my PC. But I tried a friends Sony headphone and it worked. So, it does look like the OS fails to recognize some particular headphones.
The same happened with me while using xiaomi piston 2 headphones....but it happens once in 10 times....so not an issue!
I think i should ask company for replacement... Its a hardware issue according to me... And bundled headphones work fine but are of pathetic quality

Headphone / speaker bug

Has anyone else encountered this? Sometimes if I plug headphones in and listen to music, then unplug the headphones afterwards, then the speaker would not work. I would have to plug my headphones in again, pull them out, and the speaker would work again. It's almost as if the phone thinks headphones are plugged in even when they are not, and routes the music to the headphone jack instead of to the speaker.

I don't have this issue with the Z3C though i had this issue with my old Xperia S, after couple of months use this resolved it self. must have been a contact point issue in the headphone jack it self.
Diferent
What has happened to me is different, when I'm listening to music on the earphones and then I stop the music and close the Walkman app, and then I play it again I can't listen to anything, If I use the volume controls to turn up/down the volume nothing changes, and I need to unplug the earphones and then plug them in and it works fine then.
I don´t know why this is happening.
Sorry for my bad english

Strange bug concerning speaker CM12.1

Hi everyone, i had this strange bug suddenly, and I don't know how to fix it.
Whenever I want to play music/YouTube/Chrome/etc -Sounds with my inbuild speaker, it doesn't produce a sound anymore. However, I can hear my alarm or hear my ringtone. Earphones aren't a problem.
Any way to fix this? Thanks!

Try this: plug the earphones, play some music, stop the music, unplug the earphones.

I will try this. Strange thing is I use my earphones everyday, so normally, that bug should've dissappeared then. But anyway i'll look into it, thanks!
Have you ever been into disassembling the device?
If you did, you might want to reseat the audio jack flex cable. Loose connection of this will cause problems as described.
If you didn't, then you may have to troubleshoot the problem as described by Tomomms. This is frankly, quite a trending problem for XSP users.

Earphones only working with GameTurbo

So I have a type C - jack converter for my phone to listen to music and the sound of the earphones is only working properly if the Game Turbo is on, otherwise the sound of it is not loud enough and kinda distorted. I put the Spotify app into the game turbo but now if I lock my phone game turbo stops working and the sound is bad again. anyone has any idea why is it like that and what should be the solution?
must be a software issue. have you tried it on another rom? clean flash?
