Xposed functionality was disabled in slim due to the developer. Works perfectly well on cm12 though.
Safe?
Define safe. What one considers safe, another may consider too risky. Some xposed modules will always run the risk of problems. Always a chance you might have to reinstall your rom & restore your backups. Xposed modules can do some low level modifications to your system, it will never be "safe".

Xposed was never "disabled" in slim. It was just incompatible with the ART optimizations that served to speed up the rom.
Xposed works fine in the SlimLP 0.13 build, it was made to be xposed compatible. Big thanks to csolanol, Slim Fire developer.

Well the dev is pretty clear that it doesn't work on normal SlimLp, I'm not sure what they could have done to be more clear really.

I haven't seen any threads on this topic and as the subjects says: Is it working fine or are you facing major setbacks such as bootloops and what not? I am currently running CM12 unofficial ROM lollipop 5.0.2 and my model is C6603 from AuSSiELaMbChOpSs:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4661001
Please tell me your ROM name, ROM type (stock or custom) and which version of Xposed you have tried(alpha 1,2,3,4). Also, if you needed to set/changed your SELinuxing from Enforcing to Permissive.
With locked bootloader it's not possible to have Xposed Framework due to missing Recovery. But some say they managed to copy the needed files with a file manager. But for me and most others it ended in a bootloop.
YES ! on unlocked bootloader Xposed is working fine.
BUT some Modules give BOOTLOOP !
Xposed framework works on locked bl....with prf creator create a prerooted fw with root and Xposed framework inside, then flash it on kitkat lockdualxz recovery, then flash the whole stock lollipop firmware with flashtool, but remember to exclude system.

Ok. That makes sense since Z is the Verizon 5.1.1 factory image. I only use the factory image anyway since deodex is only needed for modding smali and Android 5.0 lets you mix and match odex and deodex. I only theme and make minor mods anymore. Most theming doesn't require smali. Only deodex the apps needed to complete theme.

Don't do much anymore. Thyrus, FHEM and TBO keep me pretty much updated. I use a gray textured wallpaper, material dark and trans apps. It all blends together. Pretty much get the look that I would theme anyway. Don't use Xposed as it causes more problems than it fixes. Mine is fast and looks good. That's all that matters.

Yea im looking into making an separate addon aroma zip with those kind of mods and bloat
Basically i want to separate the users in 2 sides:
1. Those sot-freaks who want the rom as light as possible
2.Those who want the most no-compromise rom ever --and for them this addon zip im cooking up is for.

Ah cool, well im one that choose for light as possible, but with a few personal mods like
1. adaway, verry importand to block adds
2. viper4android or a replacer like a.r.i.s.e, bcuz i like to get more out of my headphone
3. 3minit, it's nice to have a organized taskbar
4. keybaord symbols when long press a key, fot the lazyness and easyness of typing, i noticed it wasn't in the n5 rom
5. Google play services, some apps require it, a personal alarm clock like "wake me up asuna" , i beleve it use text to speech or it won't understand spoken commands
Thats all i need sofar
Even touchwiz i don't care for since i use nova launcher, it's faster and have a key
Ofc some can be installed separately, but i don't like to play with system files to get viper to work and end up breaking it like i did with my dads lg g3
Anyway i test it in a few hours , dl is slow and its 00:00 so yeah

Hey, thank you for putting this together. Does it come with the stock kernel or arter97's by the way?
Also, would you consider making a odex flashable zip as well? I have SuperR’s donated kitchen as welll, but I don’t know if you had to do anything special regarding encryption or anything. If not, I will try to make an Odex zip myself.

I agree Odex is just as important to free up space and optimization I only did this for easier customizing. Just unpack system.img and set option to meta then build a zip.

And I'd like to adjust the brightness by sliding through the statue bar.
I've been used these features for years. That is why I install the GravityBox.

I'm the exact same way. I pretty much root in order to be able to change my clock position and to use Viper.
Is gravitybox available for the OP7P?
The network traffic information is available as a stock option in OxygenOS under status bar customization.

It works.
In magisk search "riru" and install riru core and riru edXposed sandhook
Then you can search "GravityBox [P]" in edXposed installer on your phone

I installed these 2 in magisk rebooted then installed the APK. Using just gravity box and working great, still passing safety net

Just note that current GravityBox won't recognize your system as OxygenOs for Op7Pro when ROM signature (name) differs from the stock one which I think is the case for Renovative ROM. You will miss quite a lot of OxygenOs specific adjustments and features.

I'll keep on the look out. But so far everything seems good. I did uninstall renovate earlier to test some things

You mean update of EdXposed installer app? Don't use it. It's somehow bound to a different installer it was forked from. Installer updates can be get from https://github.com/solohsu/XposedInstaller/releases
