[Q] camera apk

hi, i'm running cynogenmod 10.1 and i really like it but one thing i don't like is the camera software. is there anyway to get the stock camera software on the custom rom?

If by stock you mean the sense camera? No, you can flash a sense based rom and then de-sense it, and that will be closest to aosp rom but all the camera features and processing. When you flash I believe trick droid but I'm not sure, I think there's an option to de-sense it in aroma. Hope this helps.

[Q] Sense and GE questions

hey guys! finally in my hands an htc one....fantastic!....
I want to ask something about these two firmwares, because I don't get some things...
1) sense camera works on GE rom......also you can get GE systemUI working on sense....and use the same kernel for sense and GE.....what?! why does it work? is GE rom kinda....sense based???
2) If I use the GOOGL001 CID can I use sense roms? (I would flash it just for the keyboard issue), if I install GE bootloader can I use sense roms?

The Google editing is sense based which is why sense apps work on it. As for the CID, I have no idea.

1. GE has some sense framework in it that makes sense camera work (not sure if anyone know how much of it is there). About the kernel, what is so special about sense that the kernel would not work for both?

well, is known that kernel are different for aosp and sense base....and they actually are! because on this forum there are sense/ge kernels and AOSP kernels....
about the CID thank you, but then why everyone uses GOOGL001 for GE roms and changes to 11111111 for GE? why doesn't anyone keep just GE CID?

[Q] Ported Sense Camera and keyboard to Google edition?

HI!
I found that sense camera has been ported to Xperia Z and SGS4, but haven found it for the Stock/Custom Google editions.
Also the same happens with the HTC keyboard, I love it!
This pair of thing is the only reason to dont go for a clean GE Rom.

[Q] Bad Front Camera (Green Tinge) on InsertCoin 2.1.1

Hi,
I'm on InsertCoin 2.1.1 and my front camera seems to have a green tinge. I've played with the white balance and all possible settings, but that doesn't seem to improve.
This is not the issue on InsertCoin 8.1 or ARHD 51.
Anyone else facing bad front camera issues with Sense6 ports? If yes, any fix for the same?

Even i am on InsertCoin sense 6 rom ...but i dont have any problem with my front camera

Are you using any custom kernel?
Would it be possible for ElementalX to be causing this issue?
I really don't want to go back to Sense 5.5. But if the issue persists, I'm afraid I'll have to. I even tried wiping data and doing a clean install!

I downloaded mike rom .but the camera is kind of pink.
any one can send me a zipable rom (custom rom) which has good camera without bugs?

it isnat a bug of the rom that you use,the problem is from ur camera and it cant be fixed until u change the lens of the camera, see HTC ONE General topics ,

i tested it was not the camera hardware.its software .if you can send me 4.2.2 rom sense zip i will be thankful.
cuz i already tested for other phone.camera worked.by RUU but now i have problem can't flash that one with RUU.
