Hi Guys,
So i bought a second hand XZ(C6603) as an upgrade from my XS. The previous owner told me he had unlocked the bootloader and then again relocked it(he used the BLU function in flashtool). Yesterday i wanted to unlock it again but somehow i cant get it unlocked anymore. In the service menu it says: "Bootloader unlock allowed" YES meaning i can unlock it.
I've used flashtool and adb both with the same result:
14/055/2013 22:55:31 - INFO - Device connected in fastboot mode
14/055/2013 22:55:36 - INFO - Unlocking phone using key XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

14/055/2013 22:55:36 - INFO - finished. total time: 0.035s
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX= the unlock code i got from Sony
I've all ready tried whiping & reflashing it with the flashtool(.423 frimware) and also repaired it with PC companion but after that i still get the same results
Anyone got some advise for me? Could it be a driver related isue(btw i'm on win 7 64)?
Are you sure you correctly type the key? I also was in this situation, but after ctrl+c/ctrl+v the code more accurate the unlocking went ok...
Try to reinstall fastboot drivers

Do you have any branding on the phone from your carrier, are you sure rooting hasn't changed status to yes by accident.
Are your drivers correctly installed (load up flashtool and connect your phone in fastboot and it will say device connecter in fastboot)

This is a common occurrence @kistigun so it could be just that (although it doesn't allow unlockable Phones to be unlocked unfortunately), but as you were informed it has been unlocked before you shouldn't be having any issues. Have you tried doing it manually using command prompts?

If it's locked by any way, is there any way to unlock it again?

You should just be able to do it the same way I would have thought, are you sure you're just not seeing the wood for the trees perhaps? And have you backed up your TA Partition before trying btw?

If you have tried command prompt way and you are 100% sure drivers are installed then you have a locked bootloader

Just did it, im not sure how but i did it.
After i restored my Phone through PCC i just loaded the Battery too 100% opened flashtool dumped S1 so saved the TA and just straight unlooked it ...
i really don't know what i did different this time ...
the only thing i really changed is that i did the dump before, i had really 100% Battery and i switched to my laptop which has Windows 8 installed ...
maybe this Problems shows up if u have an old version of the xperia z drivers installed, i guess i didn't looked at my PC if the drivers are outdated ...
anyway im sorry to all reader that i stole your time

Are you using the correct code? Check your IMEI and request a new code

I double checked the IMEI and requested a new code, which happened to be the same one I requested the first time.

Try with this:
"Windows:
Run fastboot in command prompt as an Administrator.
Make sure the output of fastboot devices returns your device serial number or you will never get past this error message.
If you have verified that you are running fastboot as Administrator and are still receiving <waiting for device>, there may be an issue with the drivers not being installed.
With the phone in fastboot mode and plugged in via USB cable:
-Open the Devices and Printers menu of the Control Panel.
-Verify that your phone is showing up as a device. Typically it will show up under the Unspecified section.
-If the phone is showing up with a yellow exclamation point, then the drivers will need to be manually installed.
-The Android SDK includes USB drivers under <path to SDK>\sdk\extras\google\usb_driver
-If the phone does not show up at all, reboot the phone into fastboot mode while the USB cable is still plugged in. If still no luck, try changing USB cables or ports on your computer. Do NOT use a USB hub."
Also make sure that you don't have another device connected or anything like Bluestacks running.

You got a outdated fastboot version, try downloaded the latest fastboot version that might help.
And you can also try if above doesn't work: fastboot -i 0x0fce instead of fastboot
Hi, i'm tryng to unloack the bootloader, I looked in Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status and it says: Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes

last time i try to Unlockbootloader and same (remote : commend not allowed) :'(
my device is SOV33
Please HELP :'(
Sorry for my english
Please check service info if your phone allowing you to unlock bootloader. If your device comes from a Japanese carrier like AU(your device's code name is SOV33) I won't be surprise if it said 'bootloader unlock allowed = no'. In that case, there is no way to unlock your bootloader without risks so far.
