Hi, i'm tryng to unloack the bootloader, I looked in Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status and it says: Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes
i tryed with cmd, other software, requesting the key with 15 digit imei and also 14, but unfortunatly the result is always the same:
(bootloader) Unlock phone requested
FAILED (remote: oem unlock failed!)
finished. total time: 0.075s
Any idea on what's the problem?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for your time trying to help me, I REALLY appreciate thatWell, before telling you the problem, here is my device info:
- Moto G 2nd GEN XT1068
- I was in Android 5.0.2 Stock
- Bootloader version 48.83(*)
- CID: 0x000CThe problem: A few days ago, with no reason (haven´t modified NOTHING at all), I turned on my device but it booted in bootloader mode... strange... so I just selected 'Normal powerup', after some seconds in the boot logo, it return to bootloader mode... always!.
Anyway, I siad: I just have to restore my firmware. Problem > I had not unlocked my device´s bootloader. Ok, I am just going to unlock (the same way as always) but, sometimes, when I enter this command mfastboot oem get_unlock_data I get this:
Code:
C:\Users\SebastianD\Desktop>mfastboot oem get_unlock_data
...
(bootloader) Failed to get unlock data, please try again!
FAILED (remote failure)
finished. total time: 5.008s
After many attempts I got my unlock data, then I did what I had to do: I went to Motorola Unlocking Website, entered my string, the code was sent to my e-mail (I did it with 2 e-mail accounts and got the same code), BUT! when I use the command mfastboot oem unlock UNIQUE_KEY I get, ALWAYS, this:
Code:
C:\Users\SebastianD\Desktop>mfastboot oem unlock [my_unlock_code]
...
(bootloader) Unlock code = [my_unlock_code]
(bootloader) unlock data invalid!
FAILED (remote failure)
finished. total time: 9.984s
I talked to Motorola service, but they say they do not have support for this because of their terms and stuff about the bootloader unlocking.
If you are more comfortable with spanish, here you can help me: LINK: Spanish Thread
This is freaking me out! I need help!

I'm even friends with problem XT1068, does not generate the code to unlock only fault as shown below: Unit turns on shortly after return to the screen in AP Fastboot Flash
D:\android-sdk\platform-tools>fastboot oem get_unlock_data
...
(bootloader) Failed to get unlock data, please try again!
FAILED (remote failure)
finished. total time: 5.027s
I don't know why you have 'm' in front of 'fastboot oem get_unlock_data', anyway the instructions on this page are what I followed.

I used fastboot method in android sdk folder (the one suggested in unlock topic and sony page) without flashtool software, however are you sure all drivers are installed? (in my case, the S1 fastboot drivers wasn't correctly installed/operative). What system do you have? with 8, 8.1, 10 you should disable driver signature (hold shift then restart) and reinstall flashtools drivers.
Why do you used only first 14 digits? (In my case, all imei numbers worked)
Hi,
I encountered problem while unlocking bootloader . After i press enter in the end of the instructions to unlock bootloader, i see a message : (bootloader) Check 'Enable OEM Unlock' in Developer Options.
FAILED (remote failure)
finished. total time: 0.008s.
I followed the official instructions of unlocking bootloader in motorola site . Got the unlock code, and everything went fine until this point .
Any guesses ?

Which model/variant do you have?
Did you update Android?
Did you go to Settings, About Phone, Tapped Build number 7 times, to enable Developer Options?
Do you have a "OEM unlocking" option under Developer Options? Enable USB Debugging...
Boot into Bootloader Mode:
fastboot oem unlock thecodeyougot
didnt have OEM Unlocking enabled . Thanks !
check the unlock in fastboot
Hello there,
I know that it will be noobish for some people here, but for me is a big problem. I have Sony Xperia Z (L36h) C6603 which my wife bought for me as a present some years ago. Following the guides here in the forum I updated to RR rom 7.1.2. Everything was great, just the battery was holding not even full day. So I decided to return back to stock firmware and here is what happened:
I used Flashtool as it was said in one tutorial, I flashed the Commercial and Journalist (10.5.A.0.230), I locked the bootloader through Flashtool and I was waiting for the device to boot. Until now (already 2 weeks) I`m waiting for it to boot connected on the charger, but it shows the waves, the Sony Xperia logo and than black screen. Today I tried to unlock the bootloader with Flashtool, it takes me to the menu where it`s saying to disconnect the device, to power it off (I wait 30 secs after powering it off), to press the volume down and to connect the usb cable. The light on the right side of Sony goes red, than green. And that`s it. The menu how to put my phone in flash mode still stays there and nothing else happens. The same is when I try to flash other firmware with Flashtool. I tried Emma but it shows that the bootloader is locked and it`s sending me to Sony`s website to unlock it, through Emma I saw the IMEI and I got the unlock code (but how when I don`t have OS/FW to input the code?). If you know any chance to flash a stock firmware or any other CM/RR, TWRP in my case please tell me. I will try everything to fix it, because the phone is special for me.
Thanks in advance.
Unlocking failed
I got my IMEI from Emma and requested unlock code from unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com, using fastboot.exe I tried to unlock the bootloader and everything seemed to be fine, but Emma still shows that the device is locked. I`ll post the fastboot.exe output:
C:\Users\ruthless\Desktop>fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version
version: 0.5
finished. total time: -0.000s
C:\Users\ruthless\Desktop>fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0x2E24******99A7DE (6 digits replaced with * )
...
OKAY [ 0.192s]
finished. total time: 0.195s
@DooMLoRD need your help ;(
Did you find a solution?
I'm stucked at the same point. My xperia z is allowed to unlock bootloader and fastboot unlock seems everything fine, but Emma still says is locked.
Thank you
