Hi Guys,
So i bought a second hand XZ(C6603) as an upgrade from my XS. The previous owner told me he had unlocked the bootloader and then again relocked it(he used the BLU function in flashtool). Yesterday i wanted to unlock it again but somehow i cant get it unlocked anymore. In the service menu it says: "Bootloader unlock allowed" YES meaning i can unlock it.
I've used flashtool and adb both with the same result:

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX= the unlock code i got from Sony
I've all ready tried whiping & reflashing it with the flashtool(.423 frimware) and also repaired it with PC companion but after that i still get the same results
Anyone got some advise for me? Could it be a driver related isue(btw i'm on win 7 64)?
Are you sure you correctly type the key? I also was in this situation, but after ctrl+c/ctrl+v the code more accurate the unlocking went ok...

Do you have any branding on the phone from your carrier, are you sure rooting hasn't changed status to yes by accident.
Are your drivers correctly installed (load up flashtool and connect your phone in fastboot and it will say device connecter in fastboot)

This is a common occurrence @kistigun so it could be just that (although it doesn't allow unlockable Phones to be unlocked unfortunately), but as you were informed it has been unlocked before you shouldn't be having any issues. Have you tried doing it manually using command prompts?

I then found C6606_T-Mobile US_1272-8668_10.4.C.0.814_R12C and tried to flash it knowing that I had messed up
with a different firmware from NL. BUT this is all I get:

I can now sleep in peace (its 12:43AM)
I have Sony Xperia Z c6603 (Vodafone IT). I am attempting to flash ftf to have it access the US bands. I have tried:
10.5.A.0.230 C6606 Customize US and C6506 Customize US;
10.4.C.0.814 C6606 T-mobile US (i do have a tmo sim);
14.4.A.0.108 c6806 Customize US; 10.4.B.0.569 c6506 Customize US. All downloaded through the "Check updates" tool in Flasher by Androxyde. None of these attempts have been successful. They have all be attempted several time. Right now I have my phone charging and it is stuck in a reboot loop. My latest attempt was the 10.4.C.0.814 C6606 T-mobile US. I get the t-mobile screen and even gets me as far as the lock screen, but then just black and moments later a reboot. The first time I try to boot my phone after flashing 10.4.C.0.814 C6606 T-mobile US (before the boot loops begins) I did get a dialog box staying "Process system isn't responding. Do you you want to close it?" wait button or OK button. Frankly I would like to have the c6506 or the c6806 firmware, but t-mobile is getting me a tad further than the other versions.
However the only common denominator between every attempt is the follow text in the log
20/004/2014 11:04:23 - INFO - Ending flash session

I have been re-flashing this thing over and over and I have repaired it with Sony Mac Bridge a couple time. After the repair and before I semi bricked this thing, I did check debugging and unknown sources. That was several attempts ago, though. I have not been able to boot the phone.
Any suggestions?
p.s. i have also tried to flash ftf from the link you provided and have had no luck with those either. I am going to try that again while I wait for the cyber forum gods to send me any suggestions.
Help (
So I am a newbie in flashing a rom. I got bootloop multiple times. But Sony Companion's "repair my phone/tablet" helped me a lot in restoring my phone.
I'm asking you guys for help because Sony Companion can't help me anymore.
Reason why I got bootlooped:
So I flashed Stryflex Rom successfully.
>I was about to flash supersu to get root access
>I opened Flashtool
>I accidentally clicked the stock rom .207
>It Failed
>Tried to boot my phone, and there's only a green flicker, sony logo, then it shuts down.
>Tried to plug my phone to a pc, and there's only a Green Light for about a minute. and a red light with sony logo for 10 seconds and shuts down again. It repeats all over again and again til I unplug my phone
Tried Solution:
So I used Pc companion's "repair my phone/tablet" and it only says "theres a different sofware in the device" so it wont continue.
I need everyone's help badly. It's been days I'm not using any phone (

You need Flashtool mainly for flashing the stock ROM,
For flashing custom ROMs, kernels, mods and other zips, you need to use a Recovery like TWRP/Philz.
Since you used a 5.1 ROM, I assume you already unlocked your Bootloader.
Download this.
Make sure your installed Flashtool version is either 0.9.18.5 or 0.9.18.6 and you've installed the drivers.
Open Flashtool
Click 'Flash' button
Select 'fastboot mode'
Turn off phone (Use the yellow button on the back to force shutdown the phone if needed),
hold volume up button and connect usb
Select 'Reboot into fastboot'
'Select kernel to Flash'
Browse and select the desired kernel.elf
It will start flashing the kernel,
Close Flashtool after flashing is successful.
Now when you start the phone, you'll get access to TWRP by pressing the vol. down button on Tangerine splashscreen.
From TWRP,
Do a full wipe, then flash ROM, GApps, SuperSU etc that you need.
Here's another situation. Please help me

That error shouldn't have come. Either you didn't unlock your bootloader or somehow the unlocking process finished with an error.
Try flashing stock ROM again.
Then follow DooMLoRD's tutorial to unlock your Bootloader.
Then follow what I said in post #2.
I am certain that I unlocked my bootloader. I flashed strylfex which is a lollipop rom right? I don't know that to do anymore.

I see.
But since flashing kernel directly from Fastboot isn't working, the only thing you can do is flash Stock ROM again.
Need instructions on flashing stock?
Tried to flash stock rom and it worked! Great help sir Zenith. I learned a lot.

You need Flashtool mainly for flashing the stock ROM,
For flashing custom ROMs, kernels, mods and other zips, you need to use a Recovery like TWRP/Philz.
Since you used a 5.1 ROM, I assume you already unlocked your Bootloader.
Download this.
Make sure your installed Flashtool version is either 0.9.18.5 or 0.9.19.8 and you've installed the drivers.
Open Flashtool
Click 'Flash' button
Select 'fastboot mode'
Turn off phone (Use the yellow button on the back to force shutdown the phone if needed),
hold volume up button and connect usb
Select 'Reboot into fastboot'
'Select kernel to Flash'
Browse and select the desired kernel.elf
It will start flashing the kernel,
Close Flashtool after flashing is successful.
Now when you start the phone, you'll get access to TWRP by pressing the vol. down button on Tangerine splashscreen.
From TWRP,
Do a full wipe, then flash ROM, GApps, SuperSU etc that you need.

Help (
So I am a newbie in flashing a rom.

Am also facing this problems and I was flash the mobile with stock ROM but it was ended with an error of system sin .......what can I do.
Thankx in advance for who helps me......
I am also facing same problem...and when I try to put in fastboot mode it automatically restart and stuck in boot logo..
Please help me ...
Thanks in advance
Got the same problem with my Xperia SP.
I can connect it to Flashtool, either Flash mode or Fastboot. I can flash any kernel in Fastboot mode (didn't try FTF yet). I was on 8.1 AOSP when it happened, I guess some app made the phone reboot and emptied the battery (only guess as my wife was using it when it happened)
I tried to flash DoomKernel 13 and Tangerine 7 or the Oreo kernel again. I always got : quick display of the kernel logo, then screen off, then green light. After a while, it reboots, red light for a while then green light.
If I press Vol+, I go into fastboot with blue light.
I think the 8.1 kernel doesn't let the phone charge while off, and the two others won't work with this system and enter a bootloop ?
I'm looking for a way to restore my phone without erasing the whole thing. Any idea ? Otherwise, I'll put an FTF;;;
flash a stock ftf file using an xperia flashtool. the green light indicates the phone is in flashmode

I've tried that, no luck.
I can flash the FTF, after that I can either boot in fastboot mode (blue led), or in flashmode (green). If I try to boot into system, best thing I get it the Sony logo for a short while and a reboot, leading into the "battery low" mode (red led). If I unplug it, I press either Vol+ of Vol- and I'm back into fastboot or flashmode.
Tried to write recovery or kernel, works but does nothing more. I let it charge forever, doesn't work.
I really don't know what is the problem here, it's almost unbrickable ! And I didn't even do anything, I think it just ran out of battery and can't charge anymore. Was running an Oreo ROM, stable for months.

I used fastboot method in android sdk folder (the one suggested in unlock topic and sony page) without flashtool software, however are you sure all drivers are installed? (in my case, the S1 fastboot drivers wasn't correctly installed/operative). What system do you have? with 8, 8.1, 10 you should disable driver signature (hold shift then restart) and reinstall flashtools drivers.
Why do you used only first 14 digits? (In my case, all imei numbers worked)
